I'm going through a little Sonic fanfic writer's block since I'm too focused on watching the new episodes of Miraculous Ladybug and Cat Noir for the past few months. For years of writing Sonic fanfics since 2012, it's time to writing something new and I chose Ladybug and Cat Noir for a change. Who knows if my interest of Sonic will fade over time.

(Sonic's POV)

The next day in the morning we ate and did some training with our powers again along with our weapons. I could get used to this since I love speed.

I threw my frisbee ring at the targets, like a pinball move and went flying back to me like a boomerang as I caught it. The lasers target led me but I dodged them with my speed.

"I'm just getting warmed up." I stopped briefly before resuming.

Then the lasers go rapid-fire though I manage to backflip and rollover. Then I did my lightspeed as I slowly moved away from the incoming slow lasers and kicked the laser machine with strong force. The impact was so great it shattered to pieces.

I did the other two and moved them so they can fire at each other, "Boom!" I grinned.

"Impressive Sonic." Tails said.

I felt something touch my shoulders and a kiss on my cheek, I know who it is but I can't see where her face is, "Haunting me with love, pink star? It's rude to hide your lovely face like a shy girl" I smirked.

"You got me." Amy showed herself.

"Still haunting me like a ghost, beautiful?" I wrapped my arms around her waist, pulling her close to me.

"Only for my favorite hero." Amy smiled.

"Next time I get to sneak up on you with my lightspeed" I kissed her forehead and watched Silver and Shadow practicing.

I'm impressed that Silver finally ties his hair into a ponytail.

Shadow was trying out his portal ability with his weapon. I guess he wants to try his weapon on real dangerous aliens through his portals. Show off! He moved out of the way from oral snake-like tongues coming from his portal.

"Get back foul beasts!" He charged his weapon and used laser mode to fire at them.

I shook my head that he likes to fight dangerous things instead of on fake training. Soon as he was done shooting, he blew the smoke from his guns.

"Was that necessary Shadow?" Silver asked.

"Reality needs to feel real" Shadow made his portal disappear.

"It's like nothing scares you" Silver flies down.

He pulls his psychic bow and shoots the arrow, making it go through multiple targets at the same time. We joined up with them to continue our training and work together as a team.

After some more rounds, we stopped, "Okay, that's enough for today" Tails said.

"I never felt so warmed up," Amy said.

"And hopefully there are missions too. I'm dying for some action" I said.

"Let's find out. Come with me." Tails said.

We were brought to his lab to see if he had a mission for us.

"So far, there's one. Those kissy shapeshifters again. Remember last time one of them kissed you and took the form of you and put you to sleep?" Tails said.

"Yeah, I remember. I couldn't wake up" Shadow scoffed in anger.

"It was like fighting an evil clone version," Silver said.

"Well, this time there's more of them." Tails said.

"Oh great. We'll become sleeping beauties by the time they become imposters again" Silver moaned.

"Nope, they can only kiss one victim at a time. Whenever they go to the next victim, the other victim wakes up. We just need an inanimate object to kiss on instead of kissing a living being" Shadow suggested.

"Any ideas? A robot or something?" Amy asked.

"Our weapons or a rock," I said.

"Good idea Sonic." Amy agreed.

"Thanks. Well, lead us to the planet, doorman" I made fun of Shadow.

"Don't call me a doorman" Shadow rolled his eyes and created a portal to the planet of kissy shapeshifters.

"Alright. Let's do it!" I ran into the portal with my team.

This planet has no oxygen but thanks to our powers, we can breathe. This planet is like a jungle but instead of greens, it's blue.

"Yep, stick together if we're gonna survive," I said.

"But we should know who we are what we say we are," Amy said.

"Like a code word? What if we say 'Blue' and one of you say 'Wind'?" I suggested.

"Sure thing. Mine is Pink and you say, Rose." Amy said.

"You know our nicknames, I guess that will work. If one of us falls asleep, get us out of here" Shadow said.

"Copy that." Silver nodded.

"Let's try to find those shapeshifters," Amy said.

"Let's split up. And don't get kissed" I said, running through this blue jungle.

"Got it." Amy went her way.

I know what the real shapeshifters look like. They have a crystal-like body and black eyes. Gotta be ready they don't sneak up on me with a kiss. Thanks to my sharp hearing. I looked around the trees but didn't see any. I picked up a white rock just in case they try to kiss me, they can kiss this rock to take the form of it.

"Come out where ever you are," I called out.

I heard a twig snap and I quickly ducked from almost getting kissed by a humanoid alien, dodging left and right from her smooching kiss.

"Kiss somewhere else!" I held a rock and she kissed it, taking the form of a rock.

Gotcha! She can't move and is trapped, unable to make a living form ever again. Rocks are non-living I believe. Then came another and I took out my ring frisbee to fight it.

"Sorry, no hugs and kisses from creeps like you!" I grunt in a battle.

"Submit to us!" One tried to grab me.

"Submit to this!" I charged up with my bio-electricity around my body.

It made the shapeshifter back off since he can't touch me, "Sorry, I'm not gay and I never will. My heart belongs to the girl I love!" I paralyzed him.

The shapeshifter charged at me but I grabbed a fruit and when it was kissed the shifter got turned into the same kind of fruit.

"Good luck getting eaten" I laughed and went to find my teammates.

(Amy's POV)

Damn it, Shadow! Why do you have to be so stubborn again? Earlier he got kissed by the shapeshifter because he took the hit for me and he's now fallen asleep and I have to deal with the shapeshifter that took my brother's form.

"You may look like him but you don't have his skills!" I tried to fend it off with my hammer.

"Don't be so sure my dear" the Shadow shapeshifter smirked and teleports.

Before I could react, I was hit from behind by it. I flipped over but managed to land on my feet, "Grrr!!! That's it! Enough is enough!" I held out my hammer and made it and myself go invisible.

"Where did she go?" Fake Shadow looked around.

I quietly did my stealth to make sure he's confused and not listening to my footsteps. I held my hammer over my head ready to strike. But first, I gotta get him to kiss something inanimate so that Shadow can wake up. Oh I know, if he kisses the hammer. But it's gotta be visible so I can see him.

I went visible, "Sweet dreams!" He kissed my hammer and turned it into a copy of my hammer.

As he was defeated, Shadow woke up, "Ohhh my head." Shadow got on his feet.

"You okay Shadow?" I asked him.

"I'm ok. So you beat them all?" He looked at the objects that were once the shapeshifters.

"Yeah, but we gotta find Silver and Sonic. I hope they aren't in eternal sleep" I said.

"Let's find out." He said while I pick up my hammer.

(Silver's POV)

Goddamn it! She got Sonic and he's already asleep like a doofus. I told Sonic not to get cocky again! But he had to jump in to save me from getting kissed.

"You're kinda cute," Fake Sonic said with a female voice.

"Sorry, not my type!" I pushed her back with a psychic blast.

"Well, I got his speed!" The Fake Sonic ran around me.

Damn it! I flew up high since the real Sonic can't fly, "Try to catch me now!" I taunted the Fake Sonic.

Shit! He's producing electricity from his body, "Have a shocking experience!" Fake Sonic jumped and spin dashed at me but I dodged it.

"No, but do you?" I held a rock to get her to kiss it.

"Don't think that will get me to kiss that, boy!" Fake Sonic ran around in circles to create a whirlwind.

This dizzies me briefly because of the whirlwind but I have to stay focused, "Get out of my face!" I blast my psychic powers at the imposter to stop it.

"Just one peck!" The imposter tries to kiss me again, but I brought the rock in time. It was turned into a boulder and fell to the ground.

"You just got stoned!" I chuckled.

I saw the real Sonic woke up with a yawn and saw that I defeated one of those shapeshifters. He crossed his arms with a pout that he didn't get to kick butt this time.

"You snooze, you lose, speed boy" I chuckled.

"I had such a nice dream." Sonic groaned while getting up.

"Good to know. Now let's find Shadow and Amy" I said.

"Yes sir." He saluted and we got into the jungle to find them.

(Shadow's POV)

They don't back off! This getting scary but Amy and I are still unharmed and not asleep this time. I still bend a rock to make sure those shapeshifters don't kiss us. Sonic thinks using our weapons is better but I think rocks are better.

"You want a kiss, here's something to hit hard!" Amy threw a stone.

I fired ice rays from my gun to freeze one of them, "Is that all they got?!" I kept firing.

"Not really, Shadow!" Amy grunts as she whacked one of them with her hammer.

"Stay away from her!" I fired a laser shot at it.

Suddenly in the blink of an eye, I saw the shapeshifters get turned into rocks. Show off! Sonic always does his stupid lightspeed to save our lives again.

"Ta-da!" He showed himself.

"Seriously?" I scoffed in annoyance.

"What? You were all about to be kissed. I had to do something" Sonic crossed his arms like I didn't thank him.

"Oh right but well I had it under control," I said.

"Did you? Because I saw you were about to be kissed from behind if I didn't save you in time" Sonic grinned.

"Okay, I take it back. Thanks for saving my ass" I said.

"You're welcome, edge lord." I joked.

"Well, that was not a hard mission." Silver said.
