First Day
Thank you all so much for reading this :))), also, LOOK AT HOW THICC MY DOG IS YEESH IM JEALOUS-
POV:Linnea
We decided to go to this realm. We continued to race to our homes and tell our family. They didn't believe us at first, but when a group of talking stage walked in, they seemed convinced. We packed our bags, and made sure we had everything, which wasn't easy, making sure you don't forget anything is difficult. Heck, I almost forgot my phone yesterday!(I almost forgot my social life! Oh wait... it's nonexistent.) After that, we walked back to the abandoned building after saying some tearful goodbyes to our family's, being met by the dog. "We should probably learn their name huh?" Naila commented.
"Yeah.. I'll go ask!" Colin added, jogging over, leaving me to take his stuff. It was heavy as heck, what's even in his bags?
"Hey uh, we never got your name, what would that be?"
"My name is Quillicoat, though you may all call me Quill. I expect you are all ready to leave?"
We looked at each other, in an unspoken agreement.
"We're ready." I spoke.
"Follow me then." The dog began to walk towards the house once more.
As we walked through the door that was seemingly a portal, we felt vertigo, after walking through, we had to hold on to one another as we were dizzy.
"That felt so much worse than last time..." Cameron whispered.
"It's probably because we have so much stuff." I add in.
"True..." Mackenzie said, she sounded exhausted.
As we kept following this dog, it lead us to a more civilized looking area. The new area still had plentiful trees, mostly evergreens and oaks, but it also had some buildings, some had been on the ground, others had been up in the trees.
"Welcome to the training area, where we have others that have special ties to their animals as well, most people have different animals, and even abilities. Hence why there are multiple ecosystems and housing situations." Quill had said, nodding to the houses and ecosystems.
"Wow, that's actually... really cool, must've been hard to do." Naila added in
"Thank you, your actually one of the few humans that realize the difficulty of making this"
As we walked on, we had seen people with a multitude of animals, from the common pug, all the way to a white tiger. Some people even had birds with them. These animals didn't seem to just be there for show and tell, as they could also communicate with them. As we kept walking, some people came up to say hi to us with their pets. Some of the nicer seeming ones had been Timothy with his Arctic Goose, and Adele with her African Crow. As a group we decided to hang out with them once we got the chance. As we kept walking, Quill explained that because we all had different animals, we might be placed into different housing environments. Though even saying that he assured that we would be close to one another. He eventually had led each of us to a seemingly themed home, Misty and Nalia had a stream filled forest near their home, their home being two stories tall, and having a separate tree room for an office room. The area smelled of pine needles, it gave off an attractive scent. Colin had a nice home, in an oak woodland setting, it smelled of grass and there was plentiful small animals. Torrea had taken quite a liking to a tall oak tree with branches that coiled around the two story home. She had scaled up the tree with her powerful claws, sitting perched at what I assumed was a bedroom window. Colin waved goodbye and went to unpack and become accustomed to his new home. Just me and Cameron left. Eventually, Quill had lead us to a meadowed woodland area where Cameron would live with Mackenzie. Once we arrived, Mackenzie went and took a small swim in the creek.
"See you later, Linnea!"
"See ya Cam!"
"Now, Linnea, I must warn you, your area is shared with a few others, and some males who are a bit... what's the word..."
"Pervy?"
"Ah yes perverted. They are kind once you get to know them though."
"Thanks for the warning, Quill,"
"Were here."
I let out a slight gasp at the beauty of this place. It was a whole forest! The pine scent was inviting, and one could hear the stream that came from a cascading waterfall, nearby there was a small meadow with a small cottage in it, there was another closer to the water, it appeared to have a dock as well, then another close to the trees and waterfall. One could hear the voices of males speaking.. wait... oh yeah this isn't my place alone is it? I said goodbye to Quill and went to introduce myself, Zephaniah at my side. I looked and saw two boys, around my age. One was short compared to the other, around 4'2 I would guess. He was looking in the other direction, as was the taller one. From what I could see, one had a deer, and the other had a capybara. I walked over to say hello, and as I did, I saw them turn around at the sound, and one of them gave out a wolf whistle, how fitting.
"Just cause Zeph is part wolf it doesn't mean you gotta give that whistle,"
"Wasn't for them."
"Oh wonderful, a flirt"
"Anyways, Im Aurthur, Arthur Louise Mark Todd, but, you can call me the man of your dreams"
"More like nightmares."
I heard a quiet laugh from the shorter one. He appeared to be more quiet, unlike the other one.
"Anyways, I'm Linnea, and this handsome boy is Zephaniah,"
"Well, nice to meet you both, anyways, why are you here?" Asked the taller one - I mean Arthur.
"Well according to Quill, live in this area with you guys,"
The shorter one seemed surprised, while Arther just smirked.
"Wow, looks like we get a girly to play with,"
"Or one who can smack you into next month, anyways, what houses are yours so I can take whatever one is empty."
"Mine is the one near the river, I'm Oliver, by the way" The shorter one spoke. His voice was soft and quiet. He was definitely shy. I hummed in response while giving a slight nod.
"Mines the one in the meadow" Arther added on.
"So I guess mines the one next to the waterfall?"I said. Both boys nodded.
"Well, I'm going to go and unpack, is there anything I should know before I go?"
"Only to meet us at Arthurs's house at three for lunch, we can tell you how it goes from there,"
"All right," and with that, me and Zephaniah left to the house by the waterfall. It looked to have a dog door at the front, right below a window next to the door.
Walking inside,I saw that the first room there was a living room. Zeph walked over to a couch and lied down to take a nap. To the right was a hallway, at the end I could see what looked to be a kitchen. Directly in front of me were some wooden stairs. I walked up them and they seemed to be well kept. At the top of the staircase there were two bedrooms. I walked through both and they both had bathrooms attached to them, the one on the right seemed to be the larger room, so I decided to unpack my items there. I made a mental note to place Zeph's things in the other room. In may now bedroom, I went over to the closet to see what I was working with. I was astounded to find it was a walk in. The bed was a queen size, but no sheets on it. It was a memory foam mattress though. I walked into the closet and found that there where sets of sheets in the corner with a note in front of them. "I didn't know what sheets you would prefer so I left a few here! They all have a picture of the finished product on the top of them - Quill" The note said. I smiled and went to see them all. They each had their own beautiful looks, but I went with the purple one.
After setting up the bed, I went and placed my clothes in the closet. After may room was finished, I went into the other room and began to set it up for Zephaniah. I placed a tarp over the sheets of his bed as to keep pet hair off of them in the event of a guest. I noticed that there was a drawer in the corner so I placed his dog toys in there. I went back to the kitchen in order to locate a tupperware to hold open Zeph's door. Eventually I found one, but it was far too light, so I went outside to the river to collect some rocks to weigh it down. I checked the time and it was almost three, so I went to get Zeph in order to get some food. We walked back out and made our way to Arthur's house. I knocked on the door, hoping this wasn't some sort of perverted attempt to get me in his house. Arther opened the door and smiled.
"Shese here! Oliver, get Bean and Devin so we can go eat,"
Oliver then jogged over followed by the capybara and deer, whom I guessed where named Bean and Devin.
"So, usually we eat at our houses or wherever we wish, but because there are some new admits, we are having a meeting at the main dining hall," Arthur explained.
"Ohh ok, so I can get the chance to see my friends, right?"
"Yeah, and hopefully, Oliver can make some new ones, I swear his deer is more confident then him sometimes,"
"I can introduce him to my friends, they're not too loud, save for Cameron's mink Mackenzie,"
"She hyper?"
"Yeah"
"So are you two gonna just keep talking or are we gonna eat, I'm hungry," Oliver added in
"Yeah let's go, Zeph, you ready?"
He barked in response, wagging his tail. Arthur and oliver lead me to the front of this area, were there was a... bus? We clambered in through the doors, and as I got on, I scanned the bus for my friends, as I searched, I noticed that the way the seats were set up, there was a seat, and the underneath was made like a large crate, so the seats were taller then usual bus seats. There was also a table, than the next pair of seats where spun to face the table. (Like this)
I sat in the middle of the bus, after seeing that nobody I knew was upstairs, at the corner of the seat arrangement with Zeph under the seat. I noticed that Arthur and Oliver had sat down in the arrangement behind me, with bean (whom I guessed was the capybara) sit on a seat, with Devin (whom I guessed was the deer), and as the bus moved, I saw that it was almost full, but it was a double decker bus, so that was just the bottom half. Eventually we arrived at the location where Nalia was, and I saw her get on with Misty. I waved to signal to her were I was and she came over, Misty trotting at her heels, tail wagging slowly. This continued until we had picked up all of the people at this weird camp thing. The way we were sitting was I was in the corner, Nalia was next to me in the aisle seat, in front of me was Cameron, and next to him was Colin.
"So... how many roommates does everyone have? I have two, they're the ones behind me," I began.
"I have three, they went to the second level, what animals did your roomates have?"
"Oh sorry yeah, they have a deer named Devin and a capybara named Bean,"
"My roommates have a civet, an aardvark, and a mouse," Nalia continued, "The civet's name is Gillcap, the aardvark's name is Lei, and the mouse's name is Illuminos,"
"Are their owners casanovas?"
"...no? Are you ok?"
"One of my roommates over there, Arthur, he seems to be quite the casanova."
After a while of catching up, I learned everyone's roommates names and how their houses are. After about a half an hour, the bus came to a stop. As we got down, we noticed just how elegant the building ahead of us seemed. It looked to be two stories tall, a Latino style architecture, white with a terracotta colored roof. The air smelled of (-food-) and it made my mouth water. Looking around, the ground around the place seemed to be a pale colored sand.
(Like that)
We walked in, inside, there were two floors, the upper one being more like a loft, and it had a large gap in the center, displaying the koi pond. There were many colortations of Koi, spanning from a pearly white color, all the way to a dark red looking coloration. We noticed that there were names assigned to the tables, we kept this in mind as we looked around. While looking around, Nalia noticed Quill walking toward us and let us know by gesturing towards him. Zephaniah and Misty began to wag their tails and all toward him.
"Hey Quill! How have you been?" Zeph asked.
"I've been good, how are you all settling in?"
"Well, aside from being flirted with, I'm good" I answered.
"Yeah, and I think Torreah is a little too happy about those fish-"
Colin picked up his cat as she was pawing at the water.
