Chapter 4: RainWings
Our heroes have walked for hours, lost in a normal oak forest. The sun was starting to set.
"I'm sure we've seen this rock before, Thunderwings."
"Shush shush shush." Bubbles grabbed Thunderwings by the shoulder.
"Let me handle this." Bubbles flew high over the trees. Getting darker, he had to search fast. Circling the area where Thunderwings was, he spotted Jungle trees.
"This way." Bubbles flew as fast as he could, and Thunderwings flew faster than ever, just to keep up. Thunderwings was tripping over himself, fumbling around but somehow managing to stay in the air. Bubbles landed on a small hill on the outskirts of the rainforest. Thunderwings face planted into the side of the hill. The rest of the way they hovered over quicksand and mud.
"You go first," Said Bubbles. "The RainWings will notice you and not ambush us."
"WHAT? ME?"
"Yes, you. I will be right behind you, don't worry Thunderwings." Thunderwings froze for a while.
"Thunderwings? Are you okay?" Thunderwings blinked.
"Yeah." Thunderwings slowly approached the muddy rainforest. The temperature started to rise. A faint fog started to form, making it hard to see. Of course, Bubbles wasn't scared. Thunderwings was right in front of him. Bubbles put his arm out, trying to touch Thunderwings' shoulder, but missed.
"Thunderwings?" Bubbles asked, nervously.
"THUNDERWINGS!" This time, it was more panicky and his voice dropped. A strange noise came from behind. Bubbles whirled around. Then again. His heart started pounding faster and faster. Noises started coming from all directions, then silence followed. Suddenly he felt a pinch in the side of his cheek. Bubbles was as furious as ever.
"WHO DID THIS?! I'M GONNA MAKE SURE YOU REGRET THAT!" Bubbles started marching in the direction of the pinch, but soon after that, he walked into a hole. Falling face first, the last thing he saw was a big, sharp rock.
