*Discord's POV*

"Can I have a moment alone with her?.... Please?" I asked trying to contain myself until they were out of the room.

The girl I fell in love with was unconscious. It could be more than that....

Tears started to trickle down my cheeks as I moved over to the bedside and knelt down.  I took one of her hands in mine and kissed it gently. 

"I-I love you... Fluttershy..." 

Still crying and holding her hand I stood up and bent over to hear her heartbeat. I kissed her lips for a few seconds, put her hand back over the other, and started to walk away.

*Fluttershy's POV*

I felt like I was slowly dying.... I could hear the worry in everyone's voices when they found me, but I couldn't bring myself to open my eyes or even make a sound.

After feeling someone pick me up I knew by the warmth the touch brought me that it was Discord. 

We had gotten back to the cottage a few moments later and I felt the comfort of the soft bed.

I felt every movement and heard every sound, but the one thing that got me was when I heard the words I've been waiting to hear.

In that moment I felt his lips on mine. He'd read the same stories... True love's kiss... 

He took a risk to save me when he did that. Not knowing if it worked, or even if I loved him back.

I took a gasp of air after that feeling had sunken in.... It did work...

*Discord's POV*

I heard her gasp for air just a few moments after I kissed her.

There was my answer.... She did love me. 

I quickly ran over to her side and hugged her.

"You didn't know how hard it was to stay as calm as I could.... I thought you were... D-de....."

She put her lips to mine and gave me the sweetest kiss I'd ever had.

"I know... I-I wasn't sure if you loved me back... As soon as I heard you say those words and felt your lips on mine I knew by the feeling I had that it would work.... My body started to tingle, my heart raced, my body felt... Alive..." She told me. She also explained that she could feel and hear everything, but couldn't do anything about it....

"Fluttershy?" I asked as I bent down on one knee. "Will you be my bride? Even though you will have to leave this world it means you love the complete me in the real realm."

Her eyes widened and started to water up as she said "It would make me the luckiest girl."

I slipped my ring onto her finger as a way of making her my new queen.

*A few hours later*

The birds helped decorate and make the most beautiful wedding gown. 

I saw her walk down the isle to the carriage. 

A few tears sprang from my eyes once more, for her beauty was magnified in the light and decor all around.

"Fluttershy... I haven't known you long in this realm, but I can feel all of the feelings for you that Discord feels. For I am a part of his being. The heart... Magic made this realm real, but you will forever have his heart. Let this be a sign for reality." I knelt down and kissed her hand as I put a wedding ring the fillies made from jewels in the mine on her hand.

"Discord.... No matter if this realm is just for a moment or for eternity.. I will always love you. If the real you can hear me out there I want you to know that it will always be you..." She said looking up at the moon and stars as she said that... She knew the real me was back in the normal realm waiting for her to return. 

I kissed her and lead her to the white carriage.
