What if she failed an had to come back home in shame. These thoughts ran though nikki head as she layed on her bed looking up at the ceiling Wide Awake.

All a sudden her door open a bit. Nikki turned to see her faithful little pokemon pachi with a poffin in her mouth. Nikki laughed " you little sneak you know your not pose to be eating poffins this late." She said. Pachi stick out her tounge an popped the poffin into her mouth an hop onto the bed. Nikki lightly pet pachi head making pachi cheeks spark a little. Nikki let out a big sigh " Pachi im really nervous i dont think im cut out to be a trainer i always Torchic out of battles." Pachi looked up at her an put her paw on nikki hand an said " gi ba gi ba!" Nikki laughed " thanks for cheering me up you always know what to do." Pachi curl up in a ball an fell asleep by nikki, she soon then fell asleep by pachi.

It was soon morning an nikki had extremely mixed emotions. She wanted to get out of bed but then didnt cause she feared for the worse. Nikki contine to this until she heard her mom yell " honey its your big day time to wake up!" Nikki sighed an got out of bed an started getting dressed. Nikki grab her backpack that was filled with everything she was going to need on her Journey though malto, an headed down stairs.

" hay mom hay dad!" Nikki said a little nervouly. " oh theres are big girl ready to take on the big world." Nikki mom chirply said. " yup she was born to become something great just like us!" Her dad repiled. Her father was a world known professor who had more knowledge on pokemon then any other Professor besides Professor Oakley. Nikki mom was a famou archaeologist an even has her own blog. Nikki nervously said." i hope i am!" Her mom replied " dont be silly honey of course you are!" " anyways dear lets wrap this up i hate to be a party pooper but i have extremely important work to do at the lab. " oh ya! We found this crystal thing that we think could possible be one of the lost crystals. " umm what are the lost crystals?" " its sorta this Legend about these seven crystals that when put together will summon all the legendary pokemon." Her mom replied. " its just a myth but of course your mom got everyone all excited about the Legend and wanted to see if its true so we're going to test the crystal at the lab to see if we find anything." Her dad said. " oh that reminds me we brought you back a crystal from the cave i thought you would like to have one!" Her mom happily said.

" aww you remember me, i cant believe your parents are going to let you travel do yourself a favor an stay home your too wimpy to become a trainer!" Jeremy sarcastically yelled. " you know what knock it off!" Nikki snapped. " what you going to do CRY!" Jeremy replied nastly an then perposely pushed her making her fall into the grass. Pachirisu got really mad an try to attack him but nikki stop her. " face it nikki your not cut out to be a trainer just stay here where you belong an be a no body!" Nikki got up an dusted off herself. Nikki has always been bullied about how she battles by all the kids in her town. They always told her she never become a trainer. Nikki sighed an pick up pachi. She had her map out looking for citrine city, as they we're walking all a sudden a little cherrim came out running an accidently bump into nikki. The cherrim was breathing heavy an had bruises. " omg what happened!" Nikki worryingly said an dig though her backpack to find some healing potion when ariados leaped out an hissed. The cherrim got scared an jump into nikki backpack. Nikki grab her bag an pachi an slowly backed away. The ariados went for a lunge at nikki but pachi got in the way an smacked him with her tail. The ariados mandged to posion pachi before running off. " PACHI!!" nikki shouted picking up her sick little pokemon. " gi ba gi ba!?" Pachi weakly said. " dont worry!" Nikki replied an scrambled though her bag to find the poison healing potion but then soon realized she forgot to pack it. Frantic Nikki pick up pachi looked her her map again an stsrted running at full speed. " hang in there pachi i got you!" Nikki said. Pachi nodded. They came up to a fast moving river. Nikki was terrified of water she never learned how to swim and she's always been scared of water. Nikki stared at it in horror. Pachi let out a cry of pain which made nikki snap out of it. She said and raced to there pokemon center.

Nikki burst into the room an yelled " SOMEONE HELP MY POKEMON IS SIRIOUSLY HURT!" she noticed that officer Jenny an nurse joy staring at her in a odd way like they we're surpised . " your proffecor Thomas an jades daughter nikki right!!??" Officer Jenny asked. " ya why you asked!!?" Nikki replied. " oh my, thank goodness your ok." Officer Jenny said very over joyed. " why what happened!!?" Nikki said, she was very confused. " I'll tell you while nurse joy takes care of that pokemon." Officer jenny replied. Nikki handed nurse joy pachi "oh wait i almost forgot." Nikki said and went though her bag an pulled out the cherrim. " i found her she is badly hurt can you take care heal her up to?" Nikki asked. " of course dear thats why im nurse joy." Nurse joy replied an took pachi an chermi into the other room. " so what about my parents!?" Nikki asked officer jenny. " well nikki i hate to tell you this especially today because your on your Journey but.", she sighed " Some team unknown kidnap your parents." Jenny said. " WHAT!!!" nikki shouted. " WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN!!??" " well it happened shortly after you left your home was ransacked an left a note saying they coming after you next." Officer Jenny replied. Nikki stared in horror she was not only homeless now but had no parents. Nikki just sat there, how was she going to deal with this? how was she going to tell pachi? Is she going to loss pachi? All these thoughts ran though her head an then she began to tear up. " hay are you ok?!" A boy with nerdy glasses who had a Charmander by his side. Nikki looked up " IM FINE!" she snapped. " whoa hay calm down im just asking." The nerdy boy replied. " im sorry its just everything is going wrong in my life right now." Nikki replied in a very sad tone. " hay its ok i know being on Your own for the first time is hard i cryed all night an all the way here!" He said. Nikki justed looked at him oddly. " WHAT BOYS CRY TO!!" he snapped in a girly way an sat down. Nikki laughed " thanks sorry for snapping, im nikki whats your name?" She asked. " im Anthony an this is my pokemon Charmander his names toothless." Anthony replied. " char char!" Toothless said an hop around an got scared by its own reflection.

" well he certainly is cute." Nikki said. " ya i wanna become a dragon master!" Anthony replied proudly before falling off his seat. Nikki burst into laughter. " STOP LAUGHING AN HELP ME PLZ!!" Anthony yelled. She helped him. Nurse joy came out with her pokemon. " alright your pokemon are doing aok now." She said. Nikki was come with over joy an ran to her an scoop up pachi an hug her. Pachi hug back. " im so happy your ok!" Nikki cheered. " gi ba gi ba!" Pachi replied. " awwww how sweet!" Anthony replied all teary eyed. Chermi looked at nikki an was hopping up an down. Nurse joy laughed " i think someone wants to be included." She said an ponited at cherrim. " but shes not my pokemon? Why does she even wanna hang with me?" Nikki asked. " well you did went out of your way to help this cherrim, an i think she wants to repay you by joining your growing team." Nurse joy replied. Nikki smiled at cherrim " well she is cute an i could use a the company." She said. Cherrim cheered. Nikki picked her up an hug both them. " here take this poke ball I'll let you have it for free seens you had a rough day." Nurse joy said an gave her it. " ummm how do these work??" Nikki asked. " well you half to battle the pokemon an weaken it so you can capture it easyer but seens chermi doesnt look like shes going to put up a fight so just lightly tap it on her head an it should capture her." Nurse joy said. Nikki lightly tap cherrim head.
3.....2....1 click. " great job you caught your first pokemon i hope you have a nice Journey." Nurse joy responded. " thanks i do to." Nikki said. " HAY HOW ABOUT WEE TRAVEL TOGETHER?!" Anthony asked. " ok sure why not your cool." Anthony cheered an hug Nikki. Pachi electric shock Anthony. " sorry my pokemon is a little over protective." Nikki said. Pachi nodded an hissed. " THATS OK! Im immune to to electricity!" He cheered. Pachi shocked him again. Nikki laughed " you sure about that?" She said sarcastically. " ok ok maybe not." Anthony replied. " well lets go its almost night fall." Nikki said before the two of them went off to there next destination, nikki didnt realize a small starly had been following her the whole time.

Meanwhile at the hq of team unknown.

" let us go!" Professor Thomas yelled. A man in a black cloak who had a huanter floating by him replied " nope not until i have all seven crystals!" He said. " HAUNTER!" haunter said to them. " I'll telling ya we don't have the second crystal!" Jade yelled angryly. " oh really then why does your daughter have it!" The mysterious man said. " are daughter doesnt have it an you better leave her out of this!!" Professor Thomas scolded. " ya the crystal we gave you is the only one we have!" Jade yelled. " well then what you call this?" He showed a nikki scrambling thou her bag an paused at where it showed the crystal in her bag. " that was just a crystal we found its not one of the legendary crystals!" Jade snapped " ha ha idiots it is look closely at the mark.he zoomed in on it an it showed the mark, they both gasped. " ha ha thought you could sneak it with your daughter!" He said. " i sware we didnt know!" Professor Thomas said worringly. " well you just made a bad mastake im going to make sure your daughter has a very, rough, Journey!!" the mysterious man said evily.
