As our heroes got a new friend Fletchling, both Rogue and Gary face each other as Rogue challenges Gary to a Pokémon battle. They were at a more open area on Route 4 as Rogue and Gary face one another.

"I don't understand, why do you want to battle me?" Gary was confused as he thought that Rogue forgives him.

"Look just because I forgive you doesn't mean that my Pokémon does. You can tell that Glaceon holds a grudge against you." They look at Glaceon as he was glaring at Gary. "So why not settle all of this, once and for all in a battle."

"I see, so if his Pokémon battle against Gary then that will calm them down," Clemont stated. "But I don't understand, why does Rogue's Pokémon hate Gary?" Bonnie turns towards Ash.

"The truth is I don't know the story." Clemont now turns to Ash as each sibling was shocked, "Huh!?"

"The thing is Gary and Rogue traveled together while I was with my friends from Kanto," Ash explains as he looks at his two friends. "But what I know is that Gary wasn't the Gary that he is today, and it affected Rogue and his Pokémon."

"What do you say, Gary? Let's battle so we can take a step into starting a new chapter and see how far we got from our journey." Rogue challenges.

Gary smirks as he grabs his Pokeball. "You got yourself a deal Rogue. Don't come crying when I win."

Rogue smirks back as Clemont walked up. "Okay then, I'll be the referee for this battle. It'll be a six-on-six battle."

"Sound good to me." Gary accepted. "Bring it," Rogue stated.

"Then let the battle...begin!"

"Let's see what you got! Go Electivire!" Gary throws his first Pokémon as it was an Electivire, "Electivire!"

Clemont, Bonnie, and Rogue were shocked by his first Pokémon. "It's an Electivire!" Bonnie's eyes sparkle as Ash pulls out his Pokédex.

'Electivire, the Thunderbolt Pokémon. As its electric charge amplifies, blue sparks begin to crackle between its horns. It pushes the tips of its two tails against the foe, then lets loose with over 20,000 volts of power.'

"You've must've caught it during Sinnoh, didn't you?" Rogue asks as Gary smirks. "Don't tell me you're scared now?" Gary taunts with his smirk.

However Rogue smirks. "Let's see how your Electivire handles this. Go Ninetales!" Rogue throws his Poke ball as his Ninetales came out dominantly.

"Nine!" Ninetales glares at Electivire as Bonnie rushes in and hugs her. "Ah! It's so pretty!" Bonnie squeals as Ninetales was startled. Ash then turns his Pokédex to Ninetales.

'Ninetales, the Fox Pokémon. It has nine long tails and fur that gleams gold. It is said to live for 1,000 years. Very smart and very vengeful. Grabbing one of its many tails could result in a 1,000-year curse.'

"Bonnie don't interrupt their battle!" Clemont scolds as Bonnie puffs her cheeks. "Fine," she quickly turns to Rogue. "But you better have them out so I can groom them!"

Rogue puts his hands up. "I will take it easy." Bonnie was satisfied as she skips out of the battle.

"I'll make the first move! Electivire uses Thunder Punch!" Electivire charges at Ninetales as they Rogue counters, "Dodge and use Confuse Ray!"

Ninetales uses Confuse Ray as it hit Electivire while it was charging. "Oh no!" Gary's eyes widen as Rogue didn't let him have a chance to think. "Now use Energy Ball!"

"Ninetales!" Ninetales uses Energy Ball as it hits Electivire as it was still confusing. 

'I gotta make Electivire snap out. But how?!' Gary questioned in his mind.

"Did all that research make you lose your battling style?" Rogue teased. "Ninetales use Flamethrower!"

'That's it!' Gary's eyes widen as he got an idea. "Electivire use Iron Tail!"

Electivire's tails glow as the heat went to the tail. The heat made it snap out of its confusion. "Ah!" Rogue and Ninetales' eyes widen as the others were shocked.

"He uses the heat to make Electivire snap out!" Clemont analyzes. "Now Electivire, go attack!"

"Quickly dodge it!" Ninetales tries to dodge as she dodges one of the tails. However, the tail wrapped around her as the other tail hit her.

The other tail wrapped around her as Ninetales was now trapped. "Now it's our turn! Electivire use Thunder!" Gary smirks as Electivire smiles, "Electivire!"

"Nine!" Ninetales screams as she was getting electrocuted. It stops as she was on the floor as Rogue panics. "Ninetales! Are you okay!?"

Ninetales slowly gets up, but she was wobbling. Ash and Bonnie were worried about Ninetales. "Ninetales is hurt," Bonnie commented. "That Thunder landed a critical hit on Ninetales. I wonder what Rogue will do?"

"Now Electivire! Pull Ninetales and use Thunder Punch one more time!" Gary yelled.

Electivire pulls Ninetales as Rogue quickly thought of an idea. "Ninetales, use Flamethrower one more time!"

"Huh!?" Ninetales uses Flamethrower as the flames suddenly surrounded her as Electivire's tails were pulling towards them. "It's like a Flame Charge!" Ash's eyes widen as Pikachu had the same reaction. "Pika!"

The two Pokémon collided as a large smoke came. The impact also created some wind as everyone was covering themselves. Both Rogue and Gary try their best to find out what happened as the smoke started to clear.

The smoke was clear as it shows Ninetales on the ground as she was done. Rogue's eyes widen, "Ninetales!"

"Ninetales is-" Suddenly Electivire fall on its knees as they now fainted as well. This time Gary's eyes widen, "What!?"

"It's a tie!" Bonnie's eyes widen as Pikachu was also shocked, "Pika."

"Both Pokémon are unable to battle!" Clemont declared as the two trainers rush to their Pokémon. Gary brought out his Pokeball as he returns Electivire, "Nice work."

"Great work Ninetales. Get some rest." Rogue pet Ninetales before sending her to the Pokeball. He turns to Gary as he smirks, "Looks like you still know how to battle!"

"Could say the same from a long-time Coordinator," Gary stated. Rogue notices a body of water as he turns to Gary.

"We'll let me show what this Coordinator got!" He stood up as he brought out another Pokeball. "Come on out, Lapras!"

The ball opened as it was heading towards the body of water. Soon a Pokémon emerges from the water as it was Lapras. "Lapras!"

"It's so cute!" Bonnie squeals as Ash's eyes sparkle. "I didn't know he had a Lapras." Ash quickly pulls out his Pokédex.

'Lapras, the Transport Pokémon. They have gentle hearts. Because they rarely fight, many have been caught. Their number has dwindled. Its high intelligence enables it to understand human speech. It likes to ferry people on its back.'

"Since when did you get a Lapras!?" Gary asks. "During my solo journey. I just never brought her out during some battles." Rogue winks.

"Well let's see how they go up against this! Go Scizor!" Gary throws his next Pokémon as it was a Scizor.

"Scizor!" Scizor spins around before landing. Rogue smirks as he brought his Pokédex, "So that's the Scizor I've heard about."

'Scizor, the Pincer Pokémon. This Pokémon's pincers, which contain steel, can crush any hard object it gets ahold of into bits. It has a steel-hard body. It intimidates foes by upraising its eye-patterned pincers.'

"This will be tough." Bonnie turn to Ash as she was confused. "What do you mean?"

"Both of them have an advantage. Gary's Scizor is fast but with Lapras being on the water, Rogue's Lapras will have a chance to counter. But with Rogue, it's the same thing since Lapras isn't as fast as Scizor inland." Ash explains as Bonnie nods.

"Then how are they gonna have a lead?" Bonnie asks. "Honestly, that's something that both Gary and Rogue are thinking about." Ash answer.

"Lapras use Brine!" Lapras release water as it targets Scizor. "Dodge it!" Scizor quickly dodges as Gary then continued, "Now use Swift!"

"Scizor!" Size opens its claws as stars were coming out. It goes towards Lapras as Rogue counters it, "Quick, use Ice Beam!"

"Lapras!" Lapras uses Ice Bream as it breaks the stars as also hits Scizor. "Scizor!" Gary yells as Scizor was push back, "Are you okay?"

"Scizor." Scizor turn and nodded. "Alright then, charge at Lapras! Use Metal Claw!" Gary commanded as Scizor charged at Lapras, "Sci...!"

"Zor!" Scizor hits Lapras as it was super effective on her "Lapras!" She cries as Rogue's eyes widen, "It's faster than before!"

"Oh no, Lapras!" Bonnie was worried as Froakie was too as they were rooting for Lapras, "Froakie."

"Now I get why Rogue doesn't bring Lapras out for battle," Ash stated as Bonnie and Ash's Pokémon turned around. "It's because Lapras isn't for battling. Even though it has some strong moves, it must've been used for mainly contests and not for battles like this."

"So that means..." Bonnie realize that Lapras might lose as Froakie didn't like it. "Froakie! Freak!"

"Lapras, can you still fight?" Rogue looked at Lapras as she nodded. He furrows his brow until he looks at the ground and notices some puddles, 'I got it!'

"Lapras use Surf!" Rogue yells as Lapras sends a giant wave. "Scizor uses Quick Attack to dodge it!" Gary quickly yells as Scizor dodges it as Rogue quickly stated, "Use Ice Beam on the ground!"

Lapras used Ice Beam as the ground was now covered with ice. Everyone gasp as Scizor was having a hard time standing as it was slipping. "Scizor use your wings to get off the ground!"

"I don't think so! Lapras use Brine!" Lapras released water again as this time it hits Scizor as its wings were now wet. "Ahh!" Gary's eyes widen as Rogue smirks.

"Finish this with Thunder!" Rogue puts his hands up as Lapras roars. She released Thunder as it struck Scizor as it electrocuted more because it was soaking wet from Brine. It fell to the ground as it fainted.

"Scizor is unable to battle!" Clemont stated as Gary sighs. "Scizor return." Scizor went into the ball as Gary looked at Lapras as she went to Rogue. "Guess that was another coordinator tactic?"

Rogue was petting Lapras as he turns to Gary. "Sometimes you have to think outside of the box to win."

"Then let's see how you deal with this! Go Aerodactyl!" Gary brings out his third Pokémon as was Aerodactyl. "Aerodactyl!" It roars as everyone's eyes widen as both Rogue and Ash brought out their Pokédex.

'Aerodactyl, the Fossil Pokémon. It was regenerated from a dinosaur's genetic matter that was found in amber. It flies with high-pitched cries. This vicious Pokémon is said to have flown in ancient skies while shrieking high-pitched cries.'

"Since when did you get an Aerodactyl!? I thought you had Pidgeot!" Rogue asks as he remembers in Lumiose City, he saw Gary's Pidgeot. "I have it to Gramps so I can have Aerodactyl. Looks like I made the right move," Gary answers.

"In that case, Lapras use Ice Beam!" Lapras roars as she uses Ice Beam. "Dodge it!" Aerodactyl dodges the attack as it landed on a tree branch. It made a gesture as it taunted Rogue and Lapras.

"Lapras use Surf!" Rogue stated. Lapras was about to use Surf as Gary quickly stated, "Stop them by using Earthquake!"

Aerodactyl went to the ground as it was shaking. It stopped Lapras from using surf as the water was shaking. Making Lapras have a hard to keeping her balance.

"Now use Rock Slide!" Gary commanded. Aerodactyl roars as rocks started to fall from the sky. "Counter it with Thunder!" Rogue quickly stated.

"Lapras!" Lapras roars as she uses Thunder to destroy the rocks. It created a clouded smoke as Gary smirks. "Finish this off with Iron Tail!"

Aerodactyl came out of the smoke as its tail glowed. It hit Lapras as the impact made the water sprout up. "Lapras!" Rogue screams as the water clears and Lapras fainted.

"Lapras is unable to battle!"

"Now they're tied up." Bonnie was anxious as she doesn't know who would win. "Great work Lapras, get some rest." Rogue pet Lapras before sending her to the ball.

'I need to think of a way to deal with Aerodactyl.' Rogue thought to himself as he looks at the flying Pokémon. 'Maybe I can use Dragonite?' He tries to visualize the fight as he furrows his brows. 'No, Aerodactyl would have more advantage...I got it.'

"Come on out, Garchomp!" Rogue sends out his Garchomp as he roars. "Gar!"

"Aw, it's Garchomp!" Bonnie squeals. "I guess Rogue decided to send Garchomp," Ash commented as he takes out his Pokédex.

'Garchomp, the Mach Pokémon. When it folds up its body and extends its wings, it looks like a jet plane. It flies at sonic speed. It flies at speeds equal to a jet fighter plane. It never allows its prey to escape.'

"So you decided to bring out Garchomp," Gary smirked as Aerodactyl landed next to him. "Well, he is on my team. So why not make things interesting." Rogue stated as Garchomp snarls at Aerodactyl.

"Then let's do this! Aerodactyl use Crunch!" Aerodactyl quickly soars to Garchomp as it opens its mouth.

"Garchomp use Dig!" Garchomp use Dig as he was underground. Dodging Aerodactyl's attack as it was looking around.

"Aerodactyl use Earthquake!" Gary command. Aerodactyl flies down as Rogue smirks, "Got you, now use Dragon Claw!"

"Gar!" Garchomp came out of the ground as he use Dragon Claw. "Aer!" Aerodactyl screams as it crashes to the ground.

"What? That shouldn't do so much damage!" Gary was confused as Aerodactyl's wings were hurt.

"That might be because of Garchomp's ability, Rough Skin." Rogue was still smirking as Garchomp landed in front of him. "Gar!"

"Rough Skin..." Gary repeated under his breath. "Wait what's so special about Rough Skin?" Bonnie turns to Ash.

"If the Pokémon with Rough Skin get hit with direct contact, then that Pokémon will get hurt. Plus, if the Pokémon with the ability attack their opponent, then that would be additional damage." Ash explains as Bonnie nods.

"Garchomp use Swords Dance!" Multiple swords circle Garchomp as a frenetic dance to uplift the fighting spirit.

"Now Garchomp's attack is stronger," Ash stated as Gary clicks his tongue. "Aerodactyl use Iron Tail!"

Aerodactyl charges at Garchomp as its tail glows. It hit Garchomp as it made a small smoke. The smoke was clear as Garchomp wasn't hurt.

"Garchomp use Brick Break!" Rogue quickly commanded as Garchomp's claw glows, "Gar!" Garchomp hit Aerodactyl as they were pushed back because it was still hurt. "You're not gonna Mega Evolve?" Gary questioned as Rogue shook his head, "Why would I? Unless you have a Pokémon that Mega Evolve, then I'll use it."

Gary shook his head as Rogue continues. "Besides, why use it when it won't be exciting if the other Trainer doesn't have it?" Rogue shrugs his shoulders.

"Then let's make this exciting! Aerodactyl use Rock Slide!" Aerodactyl flies up as rocks started to fall from the sky.

"Jump on the rocks and use Dragon Claw!" Garchomp sprinted to the rocks as he jump off from them. He was in the air as Gary and Aerodactyl's eyes widen. "Gar!" Garchomp's claws glow as he struck Aerodactyl to the ground.

"Let's wrap this up, use Brick Break!" Garchomp flies down as his claw glows as he hit Aerodactyl in the head creating a dust cloud. The dust was clear as Aerodactyl fainted.

"Aerodactyl is unable to battle!"

"Now Gary has three Pokémon while Rogue has four," Bonnie commented as Ash nodded. "Yeah, but that means the fight is now serious," Ash stated as Bonnie was confused.

"Return!" Aerodactyl went to his ball as Gary smirks. "So, this is how strong your Pokémon is. You have come far." Gary complimented.

"You sound like an old man when you said that" Rogue commented as everyone fell to the ground as Garchomp sweat dropped.

"Well then, let's get this match serious." Gary brought out his third to last Pokémon. "Go Nidoqueen!" It came out as it roars.

"Woah a Nidoqueen," Bonnie stated as Ash pulls out his Pokédex.

'Nidoqueen, the Drill Pokémon. It uses its scaly, rugged body to seal the entrance of its nest and protect its young from predators. The body is covered by stiff, needle-like scales. If it becomes excited, the needles bristle outwards.'

"Wait is that..." Rogue's eyes widen as Gary nodded. "Yeah, it's Nidoran when we traveled together."

"Nido?" Nidoqueen looks at Rogue as their eyes widen brightly. "Nidoqueen!" They rush to Rogue as they hug him.

"Looks like you remember me." Rogue smiles as Nidoqueen smiles. "Nidoqueen Nido!" Rogue pets Nidoqueen as he got off of the hug.

"Alright, let's see how strong you got." Nidoqueen smiles as they went back to Gary as they were now serious.

"Now Nidoqueen use Double Kick!" Nidoqueen rush to Garchomp as they were about to attack. "Garchomp use Dig!" Garchomp digs underground again as Gary smirks.

"Nidoqueen use Hyper Beam!" Rogue's eyes widen as he realizes what Gary is about to do. "Nido..." Nidoqueen opens their mouth as they release Hyper Beam from the hole Garchomp digs into. "Queen!"

"Gar!" Garchomp came out of the ground as he was blasted by the Hyper Beam. "Garchomp are you okay!?" Garchomp slowly gets up before roaring, "Gar!"

"Alright, Garchomp is still in it!" Bonnie cheers as Ash slowly nods. "Yeah, but Garchomp took a huge hit from that Hyper Beam."

"Now use Mega Punch!" Gary commanded. Nidoqueen rushes to Garchomp as they throw a punch at blinding speed.

"Quick Garchomp use Dragon Claw!" Rogue yells. Garchomp's claw glows as he tries to deal with Nidoqueen's attack. But it was too fast as it pushed him back.

Nidoqueen flinches as Gary realizes that it got hurt. "Rough Skin," Gary spoke under his breath as Rogue caught it. 'Now's our chance."

"Use Swords Dance!" Multiple swords circle Garchomp again as he was now stronger. "Gar!"

"Now use Dragon Claw again!" Garchomp rushes to Nidoqueen as his claws glow. "Catch it by using Strength!" Nidoqueen caught Garchomp's attack as Rogue and Garchomp's eyes widened.

"Toss them in the air and use Double Kick!" Gary quickly stated. "Nidoqueen!" Nidoqueen throws Garchomp in the air as they jump up and double-kick Garchomp to the hole he once dug.

"Garchomp get out of there!" Rogue quickly spoke as Gary went for the next move. "Use Hyper Beam!"

"Nido...!" Nidoqueen charges its attack before releasing it. "Queen!" It struck Garchomp as it created a huge dust cloud as everyone covered themselves.

The dust is clear as it shows Garchomp still standing. Nidoqueen glares at Garchomp takes a step forward, before passing out, "Gar..."

"Garchomp is unable to battle!"

"Garchomp!" Rogue rushes to Garchomp as he checks on him. "That was some match. Take a good long rest." Rogue return Garchomp as he was now getting serious.

"At this point, I don't know who will win!" Bonnie stated. "Yeah, both of them are tied up now that Rogue has three Pokémon like Gary." Ash stated as Pikachu was the same, "Pika."

"Come on out Dragonite!" Rogue sends out his next Pokémon as Dragonite came out. "Bar!" Dragonite roars as Clemont and Bonnie was shocked.

"A Dragonite!" Bonnie squeals as Ash use his Pokédex.

'Dragonite, the Dragon Pokémon. It can fly despite its big and bulky physique. It circles the globe in just 16 hours. It is said to make its home somewhere in the sea. It guides crews of shipwrecks to shore.'

Dragonite looks around as she notices Gary. Dragonite's eyes widen before she quickly glared at him. "Bar..."

Gary and Nidoqueen catches their glare as both trainer and Pokémon were feeling guilty. It was hard for Gary since he would remember sometimes where Rogue would take extra care of Dragonite when they were a baby and commented how it's funny to see a dragon getting taken care of like that.

"Nidoqueen use Mega Punch!" Nidoqueen rushes to Dragonite as they throw a punch at blinding speed.

"Counter it with Dragon Claw!" Dragonite roars as her claws glow. It was like the clash between Garchomp and Nidoqueen. Nidoqueen flinches as Gary realizes that they were in pain because of Garchomp's Rough Skin.

"Use Strength and throw them!" Gary quickly yells. Nidoqueen grabs Dragonite's arm as they throw her in the air.

"Dragonite use Dragon Rush!" Dragonite caught themselves in the air as they charge at Nidoqueen. "Bar!"

It contacted Nidoqueen as they crash to the ground. Nidoqueen tries to stand but their legs were hurt because when they use Double Kick on Garchomp, his ability kicked. "Use Hyper Beam!" Gary yells.

"Use Flamethrower!" Rogue quickly stated. Both Pokémon roars before using their move. They noticed how Nidoqueen isn't doing well as they could guess it's because of their match with Garchomp.

"It must've been tired from dealing with Garchomp," Bonnie commented.

The two attacks collided as they created a cloud of smoke. "Now use Dragon Claw!" Dragonite rushes through the smoke as her claws glow. "Bar!"

She was behind Nidoqueen as she hit them from behind. Nidoqueen went into the air as Dragonite flew towards them. "Finish this with Dragon Rush!"

"Bar!" Dragonite roars as she rushes down on Nidoqueen. It hit as Dragonite continues to tackle Nidoqueen as they crash through the ground.

"Nido..." Nidoqueen tried to stand up but fainted.

"Nidoqueen is unable to battle!"

"Great work Dragonite!" Dragonite turns around as she flexes her arm. "Bar!"

"Now it comes to two Pokémon!" Bonnie stated as Ash was now worried. "Yeah, but that'll those two Pokémon will be a problem."

"Huh?" Bonnie turn as Gary smirks, "Go Blastoise!" His Pokeball opens as his second to the last Pokémon is his starter type Blastoise, "Blastoise!"

"Blastoise..." Rogue whispers pull out his Pokédex.

'Blastoise, the Shellfish Pokémon. It crushes its foe under its heavy body to cause fainting. In a pinch, it will withdraw inside its shell. The pressurized water jets on this brutal Pokémon's shell are used for high-speed tackles.'

"Now let's see how you deal with my Blastoise!" Gary stated as Blastoise roars, "Blastoise!"

"Now Blastoise! Use Skull Bash!" Gary yells. "Blastoise!" Blastoise tucks in its head as it charges at Dragonite. "Dragonite use Thunder Punch!" Rogue yells. "Bar!" Dragonite fist released electricity as she swings at Blastoise.

Both collided as the impact made them both push back a bit. "Use Rapid Spin!" Gary commanded. "Blas...!" Blastoise tuck into its shell as it spins around to go after Dragonite, "Toise!"

"Fly in the air!" Rogue quickly stated as Dragonite dodges as she was in the air. "Use Dragon Rush!"

"Bar!" Dragonite roars as she charges down. "Blastoise use Hydro Pump!" Gary commanded. "Blastoise!" Blastoise released a huge volume of water as it blasted Dragonite, "Bar!"

"Dragonite!" Rogue yell. "Now use Hydro Cannon!" Gary commanded. "Blastoise!" Blastoise roars as it launches a watery blast.

"Dang it! Dragonite use Flamethrower!" Rogue quickly commanded. "Bar!" Dragonite released an intense blast of fire. However, Blastoise Water Cannon overpowers Dragonite's Flamethrower as she got it. It created a large water splash as Dragonite was on the ground.

"Dragonite is unable to battle!"

"Now both of them are tied," Bonnie commented. "I wonder how Rogue is gonna deal with Gary's Blastoise now that he lost Dragonite?" Ash questioned as Pikachu was watching the match, "Pika."

"Return Dragonite!" Dragonite went back into her ball as Rogue looked at it. "So now it comes to two Pokémon left!" Rogue stated.

"Let's how you handle my Blastoise!" Gary challenges as Blastoise roars. "Blastoise!"

"With pleasure! Come on out Venusaur!" Rogue throws his Pokeball as it was Venusaur, "Venusaur!"

"So, Rogue brought out his Venusaur," Ash commented as he brought out his Pokédex.

'Venusaur, the Seed Pokémon. By spreading the broad petals of its flower and catching the sun's rays, it fills its body with power. After a rainy day, the flower on its back smells stronger. The scent attracts another Pokémon.'

"So, you brought out Venusaur," Gary commented. Venusaur just stared at Gary and Blastoise as he was serious, but the truth is, he forgot about Gary, so he holds no grudges.

"Blastoise use Rapid Spin!" Gary commanded. "Blas...!" Blastoise tuck into its shell as it spins around to go after Venusaur, "Toise!"

"Venusaur use Take Down!" Rogue commanded. "Venusaur!" Venusaur full-body charges at Blastoise as both Pokémon slammed into each other. Both Pokémon slide down as they were slowly getting up.

"Blastoise use Hydro Pump!" Gary commanded. "Blastoise!" Blastoise released a huge volume of water.

"Venusaur use Earthquake!" Rogue commanded. "Venu...Saur!" Venusaur sets off an earthquake as it hit Blastoise. "Blastoise!"

"Now use Sludge Bomb!" Rogue quickly commanded. Venusaur hurled unsanitary sludge as it targets Blastoise.

"Quick use Skull Bash!" Gary quickly commanded. "Blastoise!" Blastoise tucks in its head as it charges at Blastoise. "Vena!" Venusaur got hit as Rogue got on the idea.

"Hold them and use Petal Blizzard!" Rogue commanded. "Venusaur." Venusaur sprout vines as it wrapped around Blastoise. "Aah!" Gary and Blastoise's eyes widen.

"Now!" Venusaur stirs up a violent petal blizzard as Blastoise was trapped in the attacks. "Venusaur!"

"Blastoise!" Blastoise cries as it was super effective on them. "Blastoise get out of there! Use Hydro Cannon!" Gary quickly commanded.

"Blastoise!" Blastoise roars as it launches a watery blast. It broke free from the attack as Blastoise was severely hurt from the attack. Gary thought of something as his eyes widen a little.

"Blastoise use Skull Bash!" Gary commanded. "Blastoise!" Blastoise tucks in its head as it charges at Venusaur. "Now use Hydro Cannon!"

"Blastoise!" Blastoise roars as it launches a watery blast. The water circle around Blastoise as it charges at Venusaur.

"Aah!" Rogue's eyes widen. "It's a combo move!" Ash commented.

"So, you want to use a coordinator move? Then we'll do the same! Venusaur use Take Down!" Rogue commanded. "Venusaur!" Venusaur full-body charges at Blastoise. "Follow it and use Petal Blizzard!"

"Venusaur!" Venusaur roars as he stirs up a violent petal blizzard as the petals circled them.

Both Pokémon roar as they clash with one another. The impact created a large smoke as it also burst out a powerful wind. "Argh!" Everyone creams as they cover themselves from the wind.

Rogue and Gary quickly look as the smoke started to clear. As the smoke clear away both Venusaur and Blastoise were standing as they glare at one another. "Blas...toise." Blastoise was breathing hard as Venusaur was the same, "Venu...saur."

The two Pokémon then stayed silent as they both fell to the ground. "Aah!" Gary and Rogue gasps as both of their Pokémon fainted.

"Both Pokémon are unable to battle!"

"Now they only have one Pokémon left," Bonnie commented. "Yeah, and this match will determine who will win," Ash stated.

"It's all up to you! Go Umbreon!" Gary throws his last Poke ball as it was his final Pokémon Umbreon. "Umbreon!" Umbreon roars as they landed on the ground.

"Umbreon..." Rogue spoke as he brings out his Pokédex.

'Umbreon, the Moonlight Pokémon. The light of the moon changed Eevee's genetic structure. It lurks in darkness for prey. When exposed to the moon's aura, the rings on its body glow faintly and it's filled with a mysterious power.'

"Gla...Gla..." Rogue look down as Glaceon was glaring at Umbreon. "Alright, Glaceon get out there!" Glaceon stepped out as he glares hard at Umbreon. "Gla!"

"So Glaceon is last," Ash commented as he uses his Pokédex.

'Glaceon, the Fresh Snow Pokémon. By controlling its body heat, it can freeze the atmosphere around it to make a diamond-dust flurry. It lowers its body heat to freeze its fur. The hairs then become like needles they can fire.'

"So, it's Glaceon versus Umbreon," Gary stated. Umbreon caught Glaceon's glare as they remember what happened that day. Their ears went down as Glaceon didn't care.

"Glaceon use Hail!" Rogue commanded. "Gla!" Glaceon roars as he summons a hailstorm.

"Umbreon use Quick Attack!" Gary commanded. "Umbreon!" Umbreon lunges at Glaceon at a speed that makes it almost invisible.

However, Glaceon dodges it as both Gary and Umbreon can barely see Glaceon. "What?" Gary was confused. "You don't know?" Rogue smirks. "Glaceon's ability is Snow Cloak."

"Ah!" Gary's eyes widen as Umbreon got hurt from the hail. "Snow Cloak?" Bonnie was confused as Ash explains. "Snow Cloak makes the Pokémon ability to dodge attack high because of the hailstorm. It even makes their opponent have a hard time seeing them."

"Glaceon use Blizzard!" Rogue commanded. "Glaceon!" Glaceon roars a howling blizzard as it Umbreon. "Um!"

"Umbreon use Shadow Ball!" Gary commanded. "Umbreon!" Umbreon hurls a shadowy blob at Glaceon.

"Glaceon use Shadow Ball!" Rogue commanded. "Glaceon!" Glaceon also hurls a shadowy blob at Umbreon.

The attack collided as it exploded a little. "Umbreon use Psychic!" Gary quickly commanded.

"Um!" Umbreon's eyes glow as they use a strong telekinetic force. Glaceon floated in the air before crashing to the ground, "Gla!"

"Now use Dark Pulse!" Gary commanded. "Umbreon!" Umbreon releases a horrible aura imbued with dark thoughts.

"Glaceon use Blizzard!" Rogue quickly commanded. "Glaceon!" Glaceon roars a howling blizzard as it collided with the attack.

"Umbreon use Quick Attack!" Gary commanded. Umbreon lunges at the target at a speed that makes it almost invisible.

"Glaceon use Shadow Ball on the ground!" Rogue quickly commanded. "Glaceon!" Glaceon also hurls a shadowy blob as it hit the ground. Making Umbreon pushed back as it crash to the ground.

"Finish this off! Use Giga Impact!" Rogue commanded. "Gla...Ceon!" Glaceon charges at Umbreon using every bit of their power. The attack collided as Umbreon was now on the ground as they fainted.

"Glaceon is the victor! So, the winner goes to Rogue!" Clemont announced as Rogue smiled. "We did it we won!" Glaceon jumped on Rogue as he was happy, "Gla! Gla!"

"Good match Rogue! You too Glaceon." Gary walked forwards as Umbreon did the same, "Umbre Umbreon."

Glaceon looks at the two of them, he looks to the side for a while until Glaceon raises his paw. "Glaceon."

Umbreon quickly looks up as their eyes widen. "Umbreon!" Umbreon smiles as both Pokémon high-fives each other.

"Guess that battle seems to work out after all," Rogue stated as Gary nodded. "That match was so cool!" Bonnie squealed as she couldn't think of a match that was as good as she had just watched.

"You two gave it you're all. It was quite remarkable." Clemont complimented. "Oh, man! Seeing your guys battle, I can't wait for my gym battle!" Ash was ready as Pikachu agrees, "Pika Pika!"

And so, after our heroes' reunion battle. Gary and Rogue officially can start their new chapter as they head to Santalune City! Stay tuned as the journey continues.
