While he was still floating in the air, Ritchie prepeared to send an attack to where the shoreline met the ocean which Lucas was close to, meaning that if Ritchie didn't act fast, Lucas would either be fried or gone.

''Lightning Raze, Thor's wrath.'' As the spell left his lips in a mutter, at least ten bolts of lightning had come down from the sky, crashing violently into the water, making him glad that both he and his brother were up in the sky.

Unknowingly, the sound of thunder that came with the lightning caused a certain dragon slayer to jump, while his guildmate comforted him.

Lucas growled as he was almost hit by a some of the lightning, causing the water to return to the ocean. His eyes returned to black as he summoned the god form. He makes the water flood the island faster than he did last time, and it reached the point where it was close to reaching the old guild hall. He knew that Ritchie wouldn't be able to use his lightning, seeing as how he would definitely hurt someone, which means that Lucas's only problem would be Brandon since Brandon can use his powers without the risk of harming anyone else.

Mario looked down and let out a loud gasp, causing Tapio to look down as his eyes widened. Water was quickly flooding the new guild hall, and Mario (because of his magic) couldn't swim. They instantly backed away from the entrance, hoping that the water wouldn't go much farther.

Brandon let out a quiet grunt, moving the air bubble that held his brother over towards a high perch on the tower of the old guildhall, just to make sure his brother was safely out of the way of the water.

Ritchie clenched his jaw as he surveyed the island. He was far enough away where he could do his own thing, but close enough where he could interfere if needed. He could use this as an advantage, but wouldn't be able to go into his slayer form as there would be too much electricity radiating off of his body. There was one thing he could do, which was get Mario and Tapio, along with any other people of the island, to safety. He quickly decided to go get Mario and Tapio to safety first, since he knew Mario was unable to swim and Tapio wouldn'g leave Mario by himself. With that, he used his storm blink and was off in a flash.

While this was happening, Brandon was facing off against Lucas. Or, to be more specific, he was facing off against Lucas's body and whoever was controlling him. Brandon let his bubble air out, making it so that he was no longer encased in it.

''Sky devil, secret art. Arrow Vectors!'' Brandon lifted both arms in the air, summoning the arrows made from solidified air, before flicking his finger, causing the arrows to fly through the air towards Lucas with high speed.

Lucas avoided the attack by disappearing into the water before appearing in a different location, his black eyes locked on Brandon. Since Brandon was facing where Lucas was before, he took the opportunity to wrap some water around the larger males body. Lucas let out a cough and felt something wet, which he realized was blood, drip down his chin. His body was using too much magic, not to mention the possession was to much for his body to handle. All of this happened in a matter of seconds.

Brandon blink before turning his head, trying to spot Lucas. Brandon suddenly gasped and grinded his teeth together in pain once he felt the water around his body tighten. The water was getting on his nerves, but he didn't give up, he knew he had to save Lucas.

''Sky devil secret art, Aerosphere!'' As the words left his mouth, the air bubble quickly appeared and pushed the water away from Brandon, he quickly called out another spell.

''Sky devil, Zepha typhoon!'' At these words, the air began to swirl together before forming a typhoon and began hurtling towards Lucas's body, picking up chunks of grass on the way.

Mario and Tapio were now standing on one of the tables, trying to avoid the water which was rising quite quickly. Ritchie storm blinked into the room, appearing on the table that is on the opposite side of the room as the dragon slayer and forest spirit. They both looked towards Ritchie, who than storm blinked to the table they were on

''I'm going to get you guys out of here!'' Hearing this, Mario grabs onto Ritchie with fear evident in his eyes.

''I-I can't swim.'' Ritchie nodded before grabbing Tapio and handing him to Mario.

''That's why I'm going to storm blink us out of here.'' He wrapped his arms around both Mario and Tapio, pulling them towards him with a firm grip.

''Hang on tight.'' With that he closed his eyes, storm blinking them out of the guild hall and somewhere safe.

When the light from the blink died down, they were standing ontop of the old guild hall, where Ritchie was when the island was attacked by Eden. They had a perfect view of the flooding, and the battle between Lucas and Brandon. They arrived just in time to see the typhoon Brandon summoned about to hit Lucas.

Lucas saw the typhoon heading towards him as he disappeared into the water. He was obviously using the water for both attacks and dodging. He used some water to create two clones as they began to attack.

The 1st clone jumps into the air, getting as close to Brandon as it could, before using it's arms to split itself up and turn into water bullets that shot towards the devil slayer. The 2nd clone was using magic to get more water to Lucas.

Brandon growled as his attack missed and he snapped his head towards Lucas. This was getting extremely out of hand and Brandon was starting to get annoyed. He used his air magic to dodge the water bullets with ease, but became even more annoyed when they kept on coming towards him.

''That's it...'' He muttered, finally having enough of this fight.

He pushed his feet downward and suddenly flew ten feet higher. He felt as though he didn't have much control over himself, meaning that he's been in his slayer form for to long.

''I'm done playing this game! Now it's time to finish this!'' As the words left his mouth, Brandon put one of his hands out to the side before making it rise up.

The sky began to darken, even more than it already was. Lightning began to flash left and right as the wind started to swirl into a hurricane that appeared above Brandon. His attack formed inside of the hurricane as he looked down towards Lucas. He was no longer showing any mercy, this attack was to big for anyone to be able to dodge or block.

''I call upon the sacred demon Jupiter! HEAVEN'S WHIRLWIND!!!'' He unleashed his attack, which caused water and dust to go up into the air before falling back down.

When the water and dust settled down, leaving the air clear, Lucas and his clones were no where in sight. And after a few unsettling moments, Lucas reappears. His body was heavily injured, but he moved as if he wasn't even sore. A wicked smile appeared on his bloodied lips as he coughed up more blood and lost the god form.

''Interesting... as he dies, you flew into the sky...'' After he said that, the water began to rise faster than before, starting to incase the island like it did to Ritchie.

Mario, Ritchie, and Tapio sat in silence as the devil slayer and god slayer fought, until Mario remembered something important. He gasped when the memory came back, causing Tapio and Ritchie to look at him.

''Before Lucas began to act weird, he said that a bottle filled with black liquid was thrown at him when he was on a mission.'' Fear began to radiate from the dragon slayer again, yet he tries to remain calm.

Ritchie and Tapio turned towards him both unsure of what to say.

''What did he say to you when he did start acting off? Do either of you have any ideas on how to reverse this?'' Ritchie, while he was worried, kept a calm posture and tone in order to help keep Mario calm.

Mario ended up biting his lip while Tapio shook his head. Ritchie knew that they would need to get Lo Pho later so that he can heal physical wounds.

''H-he said that he kept on seeing Brandon with an eyepatch that seemed to pop up out of nowhere and disappear just as fast. He also said he was feeling angry whenever he was around anyone. I-I told him to try and sleep it off b-but...'' He trailed off and took a shakey breath before continuing.

''H-his eyes turned black and he almost doubled over in pain. I-I tried to get him to tell me what's wrong and snap him out of it, b-but he looked me in the eyes and said he would skin everyone I cared about alive before he would turn my insides out.'' His shaking increased as Tapio and Ritchie stared in horror, Ritchie's eyes held the most horror.

''I-it can't be...'' Tapio and Mario turned towards Ritchie when he spoke in a quiet voice.

''W-what do you mean?'' Mario was now scared.

''The Brandon from this world, who is evil if you didn't know, wears an eyepatch...'' Tapio and Mario locked eyes, Mario being even more scared and Tapio became scared for the first time today.

Ritchie let out a sigh, calming himself, before placing his hands on Tapio and Mario's shoulder, giving a gentle and comforting squeeze.

''My brother and I won't let our counterparts do anything bad. To you, or Divinus Magia...'' Mario nodded and everything went silent until Brandon called out his attack.

Brandon looked down as he surveyed the damage, and realized that David, and possibly Tapio, wouldn't be happy about the massive hole that was in the garden. He looked towards Lucas and furrowed his eyebrows in frustration when he saw that Lucas still wasn't knocked out. With a growl, he flew down towards Lucas and raised his leg up before swiftly bringing it back down into a flying axe kick that hit Lucas in the skull. He hoped that it would have been enough to knock him out, since he already caused enough damage to his small body.

Lucas was successfully knocked out, his unconscious body floating in the water around him with blood still dripping from his mouth. A few moments after, the water began to slowly disappear from the island and return to the ocean. Brandon, while glaring at the unconscious body, calmed himself down with a few deep breaths before manipulating the air to lower him down. When he became close to the water, he quickly looked around and surveyed the damage caused from their fight, before floating towards Lucas's unconscious body.

He let his arms go under the water before he carefully and gently lifted Lucas up, looking at Lucas with soft eyes. He manipulated the air to carry them both before moving towards his brother, Mario, and Tapio, his soft eyes rarely leaving the unconscious body in his arms. Once he got to the three others, he looked at them.

''I'm going to take him to the infirmary, someone needs to go and get Lo Pho so that he can heal Lucas's wounds.'' Without waiting for a response, he immediately flew to the infirmary, not noticing everyone wince when they saw the condition Lucas was in.

The body of the smaller male was extremely damaged. His shirt was ripped to shreds and you could see fresh black markings, similar to the ones Brandon has in his slayer form, but they obviously weren't caused by Brandon and were from earlier that day.

Meanwhile Ritchie, Mario, and Tapio decided on what they were going to do. Ritchie was going to go and get Lo Pho, while Mario and Tapio were doing to wake the rest of the guild and inform them about what had happened. Not to mention Mario wasn't comfortable being near Lucas at the moment and wanted to make sure everyone else was okay.

Brandon brought Lucas to the infirmary and gently laid him down on one of the beds which was only slightly wet, before turning around to find some bandages or something to wipe up the blood. Lucas let out a  cough as more blood came up from his mouth. Brandon froze before turning around when he heard the heartbreaking sound. He walked over with a soft look on his face before gently wiping some of the blood off of Lucas's face with a towel he managed to find.

''I don't know if you can hear me, but help is on the way... you're going to be okay Lucas...'' His tone was quiet as he shoved his doubts to the back of his head and turned around to look out of a window.

What he didn't notice, was that Lucas's hand twitched, as if hearing the words from his guild master. But the blood from his mouth didn't stop as he coughed again, slowly losing his inner fight and coming closer to death...
