Marinette's POV:
I woke up to the usual silent room. I stretched and looked around, remembering the events of earlier today. I still feel hurt.

I took up my phone and checked the time. 4:12 p.m was what it read. I didn't realize I slept that long.

I got up off of the bed and headed to the joint bathroom in the room. I opened the door and stepped in, closing the door behind me. I took up my toothbrush and brushed my teeth twice, as I do all the time. I then washed my face.

I took up a towel and wiped my face, ridding it of all the water. I then walked out of the bathroom and to the door, after putting the towel to dry.

I unlocked the door and opened it. I was about to walk down the hall when I heard slight snoring. I turned towards the sound of snoring only to see Adrien on the floor, back to the wall and head tilted, sleeping.

'Why is he right here sleeping when his room is just down the hall' I thought.

I stooped down and poked him softly. He stirred but didn't wake up. I shook him but he still didn't wake up. I groaned in frustration and shook him harshly but he only snored louder making me want to slap him.

Several attempts to wake him later failed miserably so I gave up.

I stood up then started to pull him into my room, which was super hard because he was as heavy as a ton of bricks (not that I know how heavy that is). I tried to lift him onto my bed with my noodle arms. Man I needed to work out some more.

Finally I got him onto the bed. It took a lot out of me, I was extremely tired. I headed over to my window seat, sat down and took out my phone.

Suddenly, my phone vibrated notifying me that I have a new message.

It was one from Alya.
(Marinette bold, Alya italics)

Hey gurl!!!

I stared at her message with a blank expression, which was not like me at all.

Oh hey Alya....

I typed back.

What the hell was that?

I rolled my eyes at her usual enthusiasm.

It was a greeting Alya.

I replied.

Yeah, but it lacked your usual enthusiasm. What's wrong gurl?

I sighed and typed a reply.

Nothing's wrong Alya.

Was it that Agreste dude because I sure can kick his butt for you. Why'd you go there again?

I smiled slightly at my best friend's overprotective behavior towards me.

No Alya, Adrien didn't do anything to me.

Good. But I still can tell something's up. Just tell me girl, I'm your best friend you can tell me anything and you know that.

I suddenly felt bad.

OK. I just found out that I have an older brother that my parent's hid from me for some reason. And the thing that hurt me the most is that they fed me lies all the time when I asked them if I had any other siblings or relatives that I don't know about!! I really need you right now Alya😢.....

I felt my eyes sting, as they were filled with fresh tears.

Oh gurl....
I'm so sorry that I'm not there to comfort you. Why would your parents do that. Why would they lie and why would they keep the fact that you have a brother hidden? I don't understand! Maybe they have a good explanation for this. They better have a good explanation for this!!

I don't know Alya.....
I honestly don't know. This just makes me wonder if everything in my life was all a lie....

Girl please don't be down. Be happy that you have a brother even if you didn't know he actually existed. The next time you see your parents, talk to them and find out why they hid the fact that you had a brother from you. You are strong Mari, so no more crying. Dry those tears and smile.

I wiped the tears from my eyes and smiled. Alya was right, I should stop all this crying.

I giggled because she actually wrote 'flips hair'.

Whatever.

Well now I gotta go boo. Sibling problems. Love you😘

I got off the DM app and went on ShowBox.

I was bored so I decided to watch, Deadpool.

I got up, took up my headphone and sat back in my previous spot on the window seat. I connected my phone to the headphone (Bluetooth of course) and started the movie.

I actually felt better, thanks to my number one girl, Alya.
