The delicate diamond bracelet felt cold in my palms. I gently rubbed my fingers on the bracelet,warm tears rolled down on my cheeks. This bracelet belongs to my mom. She wore this when I saw her last time. She was looking so beautiful in black satin gown with her favorite vintage jewelry. I put on the bracelet on my wrist and picked a small box which was placed infront of me. I opened the box and find out broken watch with some blood stain. It was my dad's watch. I couldn't controlled my tears and cried until no more tears left in my eyes.

I closed my eyes to see their faces. Everything changed so quickly. One moment they were here and now they both gone leaving me alone in this world. The pain was unbearable. Their cheerful faces ran in front of my eyes when they both were leaving for a party. It was the last time when I was seeing them, when they both were with me.

"Surprise" I shouted entering in the living room. My mom and dad both were standing in the living room,all ready to going somewhere . My mom was in black satin gown with one of her favorite diamond jewelry of my great grandmother while my dad was in black tuxedo looking handsome as always.

"Eve..." My mom said looking surprised.

"You said you were coming tomorrow" my dad said looking all happy. He extended his towards me and I quickly hugged him.

"Well, I wanted to surprise you guys" I said and hugged my dad.

"Oh..I missed you so much" I said.

"I miss you too sweetie " my dad said while kissing on my forehead.

"Mom" I said and hugged my mom.

"Oh..how much I missed this cuddle, I am not going to leave you guys anymore" i said feeling the warm embrace of my mom.

"You say the same after your every trip" my mom said making my dad chuckled.

"Yeah..but this time I missed you alot guys" I said breaking the hug.

"How was your trip" my dad said while sitting on the sofa. I sat beside him resting my head on his shoulder.

"unforgettable, I must say it was one my favorite summer vacation, I am in love with Paris now" I said.

"We are glad that you are back home safely" dad said while adjusting his tie.

"You both are going somewhere" I asked.

"we are going to your dad's business party " mom said in bored tone. She was always a introvert person and spend her time more in reading instead of partying but my dad always dragged her with him wherever he goes.

"You can join us" dad said all smiling looking at mom.

"Nope.You already know how much I hate business parties " I said while shooking my head.

"But one day you'll love all this" dad said proudly.

"Hope so,but right now you both enjoy your date.I think you are getting late" I said looking at the wall clock. It was already past seven.

" ahh..I am sorry sweetheart we have to leave but we will be back soon" dad said. He stood up and adjusted his coat.

"How I am looking" he asked.

"Handsome as always" I chuckled.

"And you are looking hot mom" I said placing my hand on my mom's shoulder.

" love you sweetheart but now go and get some rest,you must be tired" mom said rubbing her palm on my hair.

"Yeah..I really need long shower" I said while stretching my hands.

"I'll go an tell Mrs. Anna to make something for you" mom said while getting up from the sofa.

"I am not hungry mom i aready ate in the flight " I said and got up from the sofa and grabbed my handbag which I threw on the floor in excitement.

"Enjoy the party " i said.

"Eve..do not stay up late,you need some sleep ohk" dad said.

"Yes..dad" I nodded my head.

"Good night" I said and kissed on my dad's cheek.

"Good night honey" dad said. I smiled and walked towards my room.

"Bye mom,good night" I said.

"Good night sweetheart" mom said. I kissed her on her cheek and walked towards my room.

It wasn't long, though, before i lost myself in my own thoughts again. Instantly, i felt that dull pain piercing deep within my heart and the absence and loneliness after losing my parents. Its been fifteen days to that incident when my parents died in a car accident.

I was one and only daughter of my parents. After ten years of my parents marriage and after lots of treatments and prayers my mom finally got pregnant and i came in this world. My dad gave me name "Evelyn" . My dad David Hart was one of the well known industrialist in our city. I always got whatever I wanted. He fulfilled my every wish. They both pampered me ,spoiled me. They were my king and queen and i was always their little princess.

"Evelyn, dear?"

I jolted back to reality when i heard the soft, gentle voice of Mrs. Anna. She was in her late forties and worked as a cook in our family since i was a kid. She always took care of me like a grandmother.

"Mr. Welsh is waiting for you " she said slowly. I looked up at her and she forced a smile on her lips. She picked my belongings and gently put them in a small suitcase.

"I have already packed you suitcases and send them down if you need anything else than..

"No..its fine..I just don't need anything else" I said looking at my dad's wrist watch. I placed the watch in a box and put the box in my handbag.

"I am ready " I said gaining all the courage in my body to finally said goodbye to my home which now is just a house without my parents.

"Where will you go now" I asked to Mrs. Anna. She picked my suitcase and walked with me.

"I am going back to my town to my daughter" she said. Altelast she have someone to go back.

"I know its very hard time my dear and i don't know what's god have written for us but i just wanted to tell you one thing" she stopped fixing her gaze on my face. She put the suitcase on the floor and and cupped my face in her warm palms.

" you are a brave girl with beautiful soul, just be patience and be strong and soon every pain will be heal with unconditional love " she said and planted a kiss on my forehead.

"If you need anything or if you wanted to talk to me than feel free to call me. I am always here for you" she said.

"Thankyou Mrs. Anna, I'll miss you " I said and hugged her.

" I'll miss you too dear " she said.

"Now let's go, Mr. Welsh is already waiting long for us" she said. I nodded my head and we both walked towards the living area. I stopped in the living area looking at uncle Joseph. He was talking to my uncle and aunt who were not looking happy at all. My dad has a younger brother John and a younger sister Tiffany .

After my parents death their lawyer came to our house and declared their will in which if anything happens to my parents than all my legal decisions and rights of guardian would be given to my dad's best friend Mr. Jaseph Welsh until I turned twenty. I recently turned seventeen that means I had to stay with uncle Joseph. I didn't know why my dad choose uncle Joseph instead of my own uncle and aunt and that's why they both were so pissed.

" Hi" I slowly said and their attention turned towards me.

"You ready" uncle Jospeh asked. He was same as my dad's age but little burly in physique with dark grey hair and green eyes.

"Yeah" I nodded my head.

"Oh honey we are so sorry that you have to live with him" aunt Tiffany said glaring at uncle Joseph and he smiled politely.

"If you feel any kind of danger or fear than just call us we here to help you Evelyn" Uncle John said holding my hand in his hand.

"well, my best friend all ready send her daughter out of danger and put her in safe hands" uncle Joseph said walkng towards uncle John. Uncle John leave my hand and slowly walked backwards like he was frightened.

"Lets go sweetheart" he said. I hugged Mrs. Anna and than said good bye to my uncle and aunt. We all walked towards the parking area.

"Mrs. Anna, closed all the windows and door safely and than give the keys to my assistant " he said pointing towards a man who was standing near his car.

"Yes sir" Mrs. Anna said. I hugged Mrs. Anna and took a last look at my house and sat inside the car. I gulped hard to controlled my tears.

"Let's go" uncle Joseph said to the driver and sat beside me.

"You'll definitely like that place,it was your dad's favorite place" he said. I glanced at his face. His face was stern and I could clearly see sadness on his face. My dad and uncle Joseph were childhood friend and even went to same school and same university. After marrying to my mom my dad moved to this city while uncle Joseph stayed in Westville. I never visited Westville before and never met uncle Joseph's family before. I just knew that he is married and have two sons. My dad and uncle Joseph were business partners and they oftened see each others.

After half and hour drive we reached to the airport. It took two hours to reached to the Westville. I sat in the car and my journey towards Westville started.

I looked outside the window. The view was breathtaking. I saw mountains and forest and barley any human until we reached to the city.The city was completely opposite to my expectations. It was not covered with sky high buildings but mostly with beautiful ancient two or three story buildings .The city was cleaned and rush free. After crossings the city we reached to the housing areas which were quite near to the forest . We finally reached to uncle Joseph's house or I say mansion. It was bigger than our bungalow.The car stopped infront of big brown wooden door.

"We are home" uncle Dave said looking at the door.

"Come" he smiled and went out of the car. I opened the car door and took a deep breathe. I grabbed my handbag and went out of the car closing the door behind.

"I know its quite hard but trust me you'll not feel alone anymore" uncle Joseph said. He extended his hand towards me and i slowly put my palm on his hand. We walked towards the main door. He pressed the bell and few seconds later a maid appeared on the door opening the door wide.

"Welcome home Sir" she smiled ear to ear .

"Thank you Nora " uncle Dave said l. We both entered inside the house.

"Where's Marina " he asked.

"Mam is in the living area " she said politely. He walked towards the living area and i silently followed him.

The house was beautiful from outside but from inside it was more beautiful and was giving a warm and cozy effect. The walls were all painted white and furnished with white and purple interior. There were large glass windows in the living room from which the forest were clearly seen. A beautiful chandelier dropped down from the ceiling, and a skylight provided light in the foyer. The Welsh were more than rich.

"Joseph honey !!! You back " I heard a feminine voice. She walked towards uncle Joseph and kissed him. She was gorgeous with slender figure and silky brown hair. Her deep blue eyes were perfectly matched on her round face. They both broke the kiss and looked towards me. I awkwardly fixed my gaze on the floor.

"Evelyn " she walked towards me. I forced a smile on my lips.

"Hii, I am Marina. I met you when were kid,now you become such a beautiful girl" she said holding my hand in her hands.

"I am so sorry about your parents sweetheart" she hugged me. I controlled hard to not to cry in front of them.

" This is your home now and please never ever feel like an outsider. You are part of our family now" She broke the hug and said.

"I am so happy that you are here,finally I have a girl in my house besides of three gentleman" she said looking at uncle Joseph and smiled.

"Come I'll show you your room,you must be tired " she said. I walked with her towards the stairs. We climbed the stairs and reached to the long hallway.

"This room is mine and Joseph's" she said while showing me her room's door.

"And the left side is my younger son Ethan's room, " she pointed towards a white door.

"If you'll need anything, you'll find me in my room or in the library which is on the left side of living room. I have a huge collection of books, you surely like it. I love reading books, I am a bookworm" she chuckled. That remind of my mom. She also loved reading.

"Ahh..I am sorry, I talked too much, actually I am just excited to having you here " she said. We both walked further and took a left. There were two rooms in that area and both of the door room painted in black.

"This is your room" she said while scanning the room. Her facial expressions changed for a second and she quickly hide it behind her genuine smile. The room was huge and beautiful. The walls were painted in blue and the room were mostly furnished in white. A big king size bed were placed between the room.

"Do you like it" she said.

"Its beautiful" I said while gawking at the room. The room was two time larger than my room.

"Alright than, take some rest. I'll send your luggages and some snacks you must be hungry" she said. She was right I haven't eat anything since last night.

"Thank you,for everything Mrs. Marina" I said.

"Please call me Marina, and no need to say thank you sweet heart" she smiled.

"Now relax, i'll see you at the dinner " she said giving me a quick hug and went out from the room. I laid on the bed and stretched my arms. My body was aching and was really need a good long shower. The maid entered in the room with some sandwiches and juice. She placed the tray on the tea table and went out from the room. My stomach growled looking at the food tray. I picked the tray an munched some sandwiches. My bags were sent to my room. I put the tray aside and entered in the washroom. A big jacuzzi tub was placed between the washroom with all the bathing necessity. I filled the jauzzi tub with warm water and some bubble soap.

"Wow!!" I removed my clothes and sat down in the bath tub and closed my eyes. I was in the bath tub for like half an hour. I came out from the bathtub and wrapped my self in towel. I picked my clothes from the luggages and changed into yellow sundress.
I dried my hair ,luckily I don't have long hair just medium length beneath the shoulder and i quite like it because I don't had to spend lots of time on my hair.

I spent an hour arranging my stuff in the wardrobe and now i was getting bored.It was almost evening. I looked outside from the window. The woods were looking so enchanted. I wore my shoes and grabbed my pencil box and colorbook and went down to take a walk in the woods.

The trees were looking like they were touching the sky and the dim light of sun beaming on the ground. The birds chirping were so demulcent. I sat on the stone and started drawing the beautiful scenic view. I don't know how long I sat their until i felt that it was getting dark around. I got up grabbing my pencil box and book to walked towards the house. I was walking towards the house suddenly I heard something I turned around and found no one. The woods was getting darker and unfortunately I forget to carry my mobile to use its flash light or maybe to call someone. Luckily ,it was full moon night and I could still see my legs while walking. You are such an idot Eve!! You are in the woods alone with thousands of wild animals!!great!!I hastened my steps and stopped when I heard loud growling.

"Fuck!!" I cursed under my breathe and run without looking back. I hit hard on something and almost fell on the ground when two arms wrapped around my waist and pulled me towards them. My hands rested on hard chest and my eyes landed on the beautiful pairs of blue eyes.I couldn't avert my gaze from that mesmerizing blue orbs.

"Who are you" he said fixing his gaze on my face. His voice was deep and sexy. His face was hide under a scarf just his eyes were visible. My whole body was shaking by unwanted fear. What if he is a killer searching for his prey. My voice caught in my mouth. I quickly removed his hands from my waist and took a step back. He scanned my actions.

"Are you lost " He asked snapping his fingers infront of my eyes. I shook my head in yes. He slowly walked towards me and i quickly took steps back. My back hit with the tree trunk. He looked at me for few seconds and trapped me between his hands,putting his hands around my shoulders.

I gulped a lump in my throat and raised my neck to looked into his eyes.He was taller than me .I was 5'4 and he was 6 maybe 6 and half. His deep blue eyes shined in the moonlight.

"Say your name" he whispered near my ear sending chills to my body. I never felt this kind of nervousnes duvet. I tried to speak but words vanished in my mouth. I looked around for help. He was so closed to me that I could even hear his heartbeats.

"Are you dumb..." He asked. I tried hard not to cry. What if he raped me and buried me in this woods.

"Let me go" I said tightly clenching my books to my chest.

"Ahh..so you got a tongue" he chuckled looking into my eyes. I don't know what to do at that moment so i gain all the courage in my shaking body and pushed him. He was unaware of my sudden action. My books fell on the ground. I looked at him and started running.

"Hey..wait.." He shouted. I run nd run without looking back until I reached to the road and found the street lights. I followed the street lights and reached to the mansion. I finally took a breathe of relief and entered inside the mansion.

"Evelyn!! where were you" Marina asked running towards me.

"I..I.just went to the woods for walk and i lost " I gasped.

"Are you alright,I was so worried about you even Joseph called you so many times but you didn't pick the call" she said putting his hand on my shoulder.

"I forgot to take my mobile, I am sorry" I said.

"Its ok but if you ever go out than don't forget to tell me. You are new here and I don't want you to get yourself in any kind of risk " she said. Now I am very much aware about the risks here. I nodded my head and she smiled.

"Come..dinner is ready " she said. I followed her towards the dining area.

After eating dinner I came back to my room. I sat on the edge of window looking at the silent woods. Everything was so silent here. I looked at the diamond bracelet on my wrist.
I miss you mom !!!dad . I wiped my tears and took a deep breathe. I got up from the window and looked around to find my colorbook suddenly I remind that I lost the books in the woods.

The incident of the woods ran infront of my eyes and that strangers voice rang in my ears. My thought break when someone knock on my door. I opened the door and found a gorgeous boy stood on the door.

"Hii" he said and entered inside the room and popped on the bed. What the hell.

"So..you are Evelyn" he smirked looking at me from head to toe.

"You are hot" he said. I raised my eyebrow and walked towards him.

"Who are you" I asked folding my hands on my chest. He leaned his head on the pillow making himself comfortable.

"Ethan.." He sit straight. Ethan..!! I heard that name before. Ethan!!uncle Joseph's younger son. Marina told me about him.

"I think my mom already told you about me,the hottest dude in the family" he winked. I must say he was gorgeous. His facial features were so much similar to Marina but with different eyecolor .His eyes were green just like uncle Joseph and yeah he got a sharp jaw.

"So as you already check me out..let's know each other" he grinned. I sat on the bed not too close to him.

"I am Ethan, swimming champion and yeah sorry I am not single bad for you" He said making a serious face which made me difficult to not to laugh.

"Your turn" he asked.

"Well, I am Evelyn, I like drawing things and I don't like pizzas" I said .

"Fuck man" he laughed.

"So Eve!! do you like swimming" he asked.

"Yep!!" I said.

"Good than..I'll see you at 11 in the morning " he said while getting up from the bed.

"Why.." I asked. He looked at me amusement gleaming in his eyes.

"Because I don't want to see a beautiful girl die in boredom" he smirked.

"Wear something comfy and don't forget to pack extra pair of clothes" He said without letting me speak anything.

"Goodnight Eve" he said and went out from the room. I watched him walk away, too stunned to do anything but stand there frozen on the door.woow!!

I changed into my pjs and grabbed my laptop. I opened Netflix and watched an episode of the witcher. My eyes were now felt heavy and sleepy. I closed the laptop and put it on the side table.I turned off the lights and slept.

I was in a deep sleep but wakeup when I heard something. I opened my eyes and found someone moving in the room. I quickly covered my face with duet. My heartbeat increased rapidly. I slowly peek through the duet. Whoever that person was, he jumped on the bed and laid down. My eyes wide opened in horror and a scream escaped from my mouth.

"Ahhhhh!!!!" I screamed covering my ears.

"What the fukkk'' he shouted. That voice was sounding familiar. He got up ,leaned over me and turned on the the light of table lamp which was placed beside me. As the light turned on our gaze met which each other
and that familiar pair of blue eyes shined in front me.

"You!!!" He asked in confusion and surprised. Why is my heart beating so madly? Why does it seem I've heard that voice somewhere before,than i rememberd . His voice was same voice which I heard in the woods.

"Oh..my god..are you following me..you are going to kill me..aren't you" my eyes wide opened in horror. My whole body became numb. My chest was risen up and down. I don't know what to do so I screamed again.

"Shut up" he whispered while putting his palm on my mouth.

"If you scream again than I'll definitely kill you,understand" he raised his voice ,glaring into my eyes.

"Understand.." He asked again. I nodded my head. He looked into my eyes and i scanned his face. He was freaking hot with perfect facial features and juicy lips. Damn his deep eyes.

"Good girl, now tell me what the fucking hell are you doing in my room" he said slowly removing his hand from my mouth. his room. I was so confused at the moment. I pushed him and quickly get up from the bed.

"I live here,you psycho " i said placing my both hands on my waist.

"What..in my room" his face turned red. He furiously walked towards me and grabbed my elbow.

"Who the fukkk are you" he shouted making me flinch at my place.

"Adrien!!!!" uncle Joseph shouted, he was stood on the door along with Marina and Ethan.

"Who is she" he asked looking at uncle Joseph.

"She is Evelyn" Ethan said looking at me smirking.

"What is she doinig in my room" he asked clenching his fists. I was stood their awkwardly looking their faces dumbfounded.

"Its her room now" uncle Joseph raised his voice. Marina hold his hand.

"What!!!!seriously" he shouted running his fingers in his hair.

"Come with me...Adrien,now!!" Uncle Joseph said raising his voice. He looked at me for a second and went out of the room glaring at uncle Joseph and Marina.

"Sorry sweetheart, he is my son Adrien " aunt Marina said in shaking voice. She was looking so frightened.

"Sorry for his behavior, please sleep we will talk in the morning" uncle Joseph said. He put his hand on Marina's shoulder. She nodded her head and give me small smile and walked out with uncle Joseph. I looked at Ethan. He shrugged his shoulder and went out following his mom and dad. What the hell just happened.

I stood their still confused and to clear my mind I also walked towards uncle Joseph's room.
