DARCELLE GRAY HATED FRED WEASLEY.

For what reason? She simply couldn't say why exactly.

Perhaps for his goofy grin, he cast her way when he thought she wasn't looking. For his too-long, scarlet-red hair that he couldn't stop obnoxiously blowing out of the way of his eyes. Or maybe even simply the obvious.

The whole silent feud between their houses.

However even so, when faced with the potential for her ex's judgement, more so specifically his assumptions, she blurted out that she indeed was over him and as such, not single. And that she was dating a certain Fred Gideon Weasley

Only one wrong thing about the whole thing. It was all a big lie.

Her long, chestnut-brown hair tumbled down her shoulders in waves. Her brown eyes twinkled somewhat golden in the sunlight. The way she twiddled her thumbs when anxious. How she looked when playing quidditch.

And so when she asks for his help, to become her fake-boyfriend he doesn't hesitate to say yes. As he couldn't stand seeing her upset for any reason.
