LUCY'S POV: HEARTFILIA

Today was Friday. The day I had a date. Why did I even agree?! I'll just ditch him. But that'd be too harsh!

I was at school near my locker, getting my supplies for the day. Suddenly, two large arms wrapped around my waist and I squeaked.

"Eeep!"

I heard a laugh from behind me, it was Natsu. I turned red and tried to pry him off me.

"Y'know, that's not a nice way to great someone, Luce."

"N-Natsu!"

By this point he had already set his head right next to MY ear. He licked the outer shell of my ear and spoke quietly and said,"Wear something casual. We're not going anywhere formal."

He unwrapped his arms around my waist,"Oh, and don't ditch me. You'll regret it,babe."

He went down the busy hallway, and eventually disappeared into the crowd.

TIME SKIP- LUNCH

LUCY'S POV:

I dashed down the halls to my favorite period. Lunch. I could meet with my friends, eat food, and gossip.

I got my cafeteria food and went to my table.

Did I say lunch was my favorite period? Well starting now, it sucked.

I was going to go to my seat, but someone had to sit there.

Natsu Dragneel.

And his group.

Now, don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with the group, it's just something wrong with each person in the group.

For example, Gajeel Redfox.

A loud and terrible singer. Gajeel's dumb, and was a former delinquent. He has no manners at all, and it's obvious that he likes Levy.

Loke Celestial.

A major flirt, possibly a casanova. It's almost as if he could NOT keep the same girl for atleast two days. I don't see why and how he still gets a new girl every week.

Gray Fullbuster *Heartfilia

He's my brother, and a major jackass. He always seems to manage getting in a fight with either Natsu, Gajeel, or Loke. Sometimes them all. He's very cold towards people, and has Juvia as a stalker.

And last but not least, Jellal Fernandez.

There's nothing wrong with him, he's actually a cool guy. He's smart but not a smartass, and he's kind and gentle towards other people. Unless you get on his nerves. He is currently dating Erza Scarlet.

Back to the present, I sat next Levy and I was between her and Gray.

I whispered to Levy ",Why are they here?" She looked at me and shrugged.

"Y"know, you're not a good whisperer."

I whipped my head around and turned to Gray.

"Shut up! I wasn't talking to you!"

"Well if you're trying to talk to someone quietly exit the damn area!"

"And don't listen in on other people's conversations!"

"I'm older, so I don't have to listen to you.La la la la la I can't here you~!"

"Just because you're my older brother it doesn't mean you can tell me what to do."

"Yes I can."

"No you can't."

"Yes I can."

"No you can't!"

"Yes I can!"

"No you can't!"

"Yes. I. Can!"

"No. You. Can't!"

"Yes. I. Can."

"No. You. C-"

When I stopped mid sentence I had realized that everyone from our table was looking at us including some other irrelevant people.

We were standing up, so we both sat down and shut our mouths.

"If I recall, I heard you say "big brother". Neh?" Erza smirked and stared at us.

"Which means-"

"LUCY AND GRAY ARE BROTHER AND SISTER!" Levy blurted out, which earned her a chop to the neck by Erza.

"Juvia wants to argue with Gray-Sama too." Juvia slumped and her seat and sulked but quickly got up.

"From today on, Juvia now declares that Lucy-San is now Juvia's Love Rival!"

The whole table sweatdropped at that moment.

-TIME SKIP-HEARTFILIA KOZERN

LUCY'S POV:

I sighed. I was standing outside of my closet, I couldn't decide what to wear!

Should I wear jeans? Or should I wear a skirt? Maybe a dress?! The possibilities were endless!

After and hour of deciding, I decided on this:

(lets just pretend that those two match)

I glanced at the clock and I said 4:15. I have 15 minutes to spare, so I went to the kitchen to get a snack.

"Don't you want to save your appetite for the date?"

I shrieked and jumped from the fridge.

"Gray!," I hit him playfully while he was snickering "don't do that! And how did you know..."

He put his finger over my mouth and shushed me. I bit his finger.

He pulled away and laughed."Joke's on you! I just took a shit." Gray came closer to my ear."And I didn't wash my hands."

"EWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!"

I was about to chase him but the doorbell rang. "I'll get it!"

I ran towards our front door. I opened it, and there was Natsu Dragneel. He was staring at my house and his eyes were wide open and his mouth was open.

I took my finger and pushed his jaw upward,"You'll catch flies if you leave it open."

He looked a bit shocked, but that quickly changed."So Luce, shall we?" He stuck his arm out and I gladly took it.

"We shall, Dragneel."

The first thing we did on our date was go to a cafe called "Delight & Bite". It was a nice and cozy cafe. The walls had fairy lights strung across them, and on every table there was a flower vase with white flowers. The tables were a nice, rustic wood and there was a smell of coffee and vanilla, with a dash of cinnamon.

I took a good whiff of the air, and I could just sense that this cafe had many good things to offer.

"Uh, Luce?" Natsu tapped my shoulder,"Are you coming or are you staying there?"

My cheeks turned red in embarrassment and Natsu just chuckled."Come on, let's sit here."

He brought me to a booth near the back corner of the cafe. It was dim but the fairy lights provided enough light.

It was only a couple minutes until a waitress came to take our drink orders.

"Hi, my name is Lily and I'll be your waitress today. What would you like to order?"

Her eyes were directed at Natsu, and I could sense her aura of hatred for me.

"Uh, I'll take a coke, and Lucy?" Natsu looked obviously uncomfortable, I could see it in his eyes.

"I'll have the peach boba tea. Thank you." Our so called "waitress" Lily sneered at me but turned to Natsu with the sweetest smile",Alright. So I have a coke for you, darling."

Her face sank immediately when she looked me. "And a peach boba tea for her."

"I'll be right back to take your orders."

Lily left and I left out a breath of relief that I hadn't known I held in.

"So, what do you think of Lily, Natsu?" He looked alarmed at the question."I think she's cute. I kinda like her."

I felt my hands get sweaty and a lump formed in my throat. My heart sank into my shoes and my eyes got teary.

Wait. Why am I crying?

It's not like I like Natsu, right?

We're not even together. The only reason he went on a date with me was because he was dared to.

"Luce? Are you okay?"

"Y-yea I'm fine." I tilted my head away from him.

Suddenly my chin was titled so I faced Natsu, and he came close and..

kissed me. On the cheek.

He pulled his hands away from my face. Right when he was about to say something, our waitress came.

"So, what would you like to order?" She said, her voice full of fake cheer as she put down our drinks-making sure that her chest was towards Natsu's face.

"I'll have ever thing on the menu except anything without meat."

"I'll have the shrimp pasta with extra cheese, please."

She turned to me and sneered,"Are you sure you want to eat that many carbs, Barbie Doll?"

The pink idiot was about to talk, but I shushed him.

"Yes, I'm sure I want that many carbs. Unlike you, I'll actually eat what I want because I'm not worried about my figure. I'm beautiful- with or without carbs. And I don't need someone's opinion that won't matter in two seconds. And unlike you, I can still get a man without flirting or gaining weight."

"Y-Yeah!" Natsu weakly added which made me glare at him.

-TIME SKIP-

NATSU'S POV:

After we finished our dinner/lunch at the cafe we went to a nearby park.

We stopped by the lakes to dip our feet in it, and we walked some of the paths.

As we sat on a nearby bench, Lucy zoned out.

"Hey, do- The stars are pretty, aren't they?"

She had interrupted me and looked up at the evening sky. The stars started to peak out from the clouds.

"Yes, they're very pretty." I took the leap and decided to hold her hand. Her muscles tensed and realeased, her soft hands wrapping around my rough ones.

She took her other hand and pointed towards the sky. "There's Libra. And-oh! Leo, Virgo,blablablablabla,"

I looked at her with a questioned look, and she just smiled back. How could she name those? I can't even spells that many. I only know the Little Dipper!

We continued talking about stars and constellations.

"You looked a bit disappointed when I said I liked her." Luce looked at me and sighed."If you were actually listening,  I said that I like her , but she's not as beautiful as you. Plus, You have a body of a goddess and her's looked like a breadstick." We both giggled at my funny remark.

Her laugh is adorable.

I think

I like her.

I stared at her lips and bit mine. She might've noticed because she stared at me. Our faces got closer and closer. Finally, the gap was sealed with our lips touching.

At first it was a little peck, but those little pecks turned into a full-out make out session. Tongues twisting teeth. clashing. I pulled her onto my lap and wrapped my arms around her waist, as she did the same to my neck.

We pulled away with a string of saliva between us.

Our eyes exchanged glanced, until we finally stared at each other. We burtsed out in giggles.

"I like this." She panted, her face was beet red.

"Me too."

LUCY'S POV:

"Lucy?"

"Hmm?"

"Could you get off? You're kinda crushing my d-"

"Natsu Dragneel I swear don't  you dare finish that sentence!" He snickered and I hit his chest, getting off of him.

TIME SKIP- WALKING HOME

(still lucys pov)

We were crossing the street and I carelessly stepped into the street. "Lucy you might want to-"

I turned my head and heard the revving engine of a sports car. This was it. But before I closed my eyes and braced myself for the impact, I saw Natsu.

On fire.

"LUCY!"

I stared at him in shock as I heard the car getting close. This was it. I shut my eyes waiting. Instead, I heard nothing.

I opened my eyes and there was some type of barrier or force field. It was glowing and I saw someone in front of me.

Natsu and I were both in shock, our mouths gaping wide.

"Who the fuck are you?"

yo guys, I just realised that most of this book is author notes. so instead, I'll just be posting it on my home page whether I'm going to post or not. I just want to thank all of y'all for being patient! family issues, social life, school, and other things will not get in my way! even if I'm going through something I'll put it behind me and work on it later! I struggled to finish this chapter and I'm so proud that I finished it. but lemme just say this- shit escalated quickly.
