The next morning Luke got a call from an unknown number. He answered and soon a weak voice spoke through the phone.

"Is this the Hemmings Residence?"

"Yes, ma'am. May I ask who is calling?" Luke asked as he walked into the kitchen where Ashton stood making breakfast.

"I'm Ana Lee, Jackson's mom." The voice replied before having a coughing fit. "I've looked at your file and you seem to be a perfect family for Jackson." She continued.

"R-Really?" Luke choked out.

"Of course. You're husband is quite handsome, too. I also read about his past about being abused, and I find it remarkable how he has overcome that. I also read about you. You are already very successful at such a young age. I couldn't think of anyone better to raise my child." The woman said smiling through the phone.

"D-Does this mean you approved us?" Luke stuttered out as Ashton reached out to hold his hand.

"Of course I did! Jackson will be dropped off around six this evening. Ashley will be with him to fill the paperwork out." Ana replied.

Luke and Ashton were in tears.

"Thank you so much." Luke repeated that line over and over until Ana hung up. Soon after that call Luke called his personal movers to set a room up for Jackson.
