Backstory

She was born in a grassy field during winter as an earth pony. Her parents loved her with all their hearts until they died in a tragic accident. Ice Sheer was left all alone in the grassy field, until one day she decided to leave and venture out into the forest. After years of wandering around and looking for a place that she could call her home, she came across a land of snow and ice. She realized she never got cold being there, so she decided to stay. One day some ponies came to the snow to play but they fell into a frozen lake. Ice Sheer dived into the frozen lake after the ponies to save their lives, she was able to grab them and swim back up to the surface where she brought the ponies to safety, but she fell back into the water after saving them. The ponies waited for her to come back up but she never did. A few days later Ice Sheer was brought to the surface and laid down on the snow where she woke up and saw a bright light above her. She was amazed at it and heard a voice say that she had risked her life to save others and was a gifted pony. The light surrounded her and changed her into an alicorn then she was given the element of ice. It gave her the ability to bring her snow to all of Equestria so they could enjoy it like she does, but she never shows herself to anyone. She likes to stay in the distance and watch the ponies play in her snow. The ponies that saw Ice Sheer fall into the frozen lake believe she had something to do with the snow coming to Equestria. Eventually a myth and legend started spreading all over Equestria about the pony who fell into the frozen lake and brought snow to all of Equestria.
