Andrew is super cool, guys. He let me get two whole Happy Meals! No one ever let me have TWO!

"Eat up, Delia," he said, "You look like you haven't eaten in days."

I ate all my food and Andrew gave me a strawberry milkshake! It's final, I love him.

"You wanna go shopping," Andrew asked, "You need some new clothes."

"New clothes!"

Andrew took me to a million stores, and I got to pick all the clothes myself!

"And can I buy these overalls? Please?"

"Delia, sweetie, you already have six of them!"

"But this one's brown! I only have blue ones!"

Andrew bought me the overalls, and looked at me.

"OK, Delia. If you keep this up, I'll run out of money. Come on, let's go over to my apartment so we can put all this stuff away."

"OK!"

We walked over to the apartment, and it looked really big!

"Wow! This place has everything!"

Andrew ruffled my hair again. "It isn't much, but I'm glad you like it, Dee."

I looked up at him. "I like that nickname!"

Andrew smiled. "Well, I'm gonna call you that more often!"

I grinned and threw all my new clothes on the guest bed.

"Andrew! Can we go back to the theater? I wanna watch your musical!"

Andrew looked surprised. "I don't think that's a good idea, Dee."

"Why?"

"Because.. it's not exactly good for a kid your age."

I shrugged. "OK! Can I go the theater and finish meeting the cats?"

"Cast, sweetie. But sure! Come on!"

I took Andrew's hand and we walked over to the theater.

"Hi again, everyone!"

I got to actually meet the cast this time. Everyone was super nice, and I really liked it!

"So, you happy now, Dee," Andrew asked. I nodded.

"Thanks, Andrew. For taking me in."

He gave me a hug. "Of course, Delia. I'm here for you."

I squeezed him in a hug. "Thanks again."

Because this time, I actually felt happy. I actually felt like I might have a chance here.
