Steve pov

It's Bucky's birthday next week and I still have to get him something. I'm gonna take Charlotte with me so she can pick something out for him.

I walk into Charlotte's room to see her playing with her doctors kit we got her for her birthday.

"Hey doll, do you want to go shopping for daddy's birthday?" I ask her
"Yes! Let's go!" Charlotte says

Once I get Charlotte dressed for the day, we head out to the truck and head to the shopping center.

"So, Charlotte, what should we get for daddy?" I ask her as we walk around.

"Mmm; chocolate, new pair of boots and some new t-shirts"

"Good choice! Let's go!"

We first head to the shoe shop to look for boots that Bucky will like.

"Which ones Charlotte?"
I point to a pair of long black boots that are leather with straps and lots of silver buckles going up the sides of them or a pair of ankle boots that are suede and have 2 silver buckles on them.

"Those ones!" Charlotte says pointing to the long pair of boots.

"Good choice! I think he will like them!" I say, paying for the boots.

Next shop was urban outfitters.

"What colour t-shirts should we get?" I say.

"Maroon, black and a nice coloured one like baby blue. Daddy needs more coloured things in his wardrobe!" Charlotte says.

We end up buying 2 maroon tops, 5 black tops and 2 baby blue tops.

"Let's go to the sweet shop!" Charlotte says.

"Come on!" I say.

When we get to the sweet shop, we buy Bucky 3 bars of plain milk chocolate, 4 bags of vanilla fudge and a chocolate lolly that says 'worlds best dad on it'

"Well, that was a good shopping trip." I say to Charlotte.
"Yes! I think he will like this" Charlotte says, sucking on the strawberry flavoured lolly I bought her from the sweet shop.

"Well let's go home and try to hide this from your father." I say to Charlotte before I start the car and drive away.

Bucky's pov

So it's my birthday today and I've been allowed a sleep in.

Soon, I start to hear giggling then a small child jumping on my chest.

"DADDY! DADDY! WAKE UP! ITS YOUR BIRTHDAY!!" I hear Charlotte shout at me.

"I'm up little monkey. Where's papa?" I ask her.
"I can't tell you. It's a secret."
She says, hiding her face in my chest giggling.

"Is the birthday boy awake?" I hear Stevie say behind the bedroom door.

"Yes he is." I reply.

"Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday dear Bucky
Happy birthday to you." Steve and Charlotte sing to me.

"Thanks guys." I say then Steve places a big pile of presents infront of me.

"This is off Charlotte and I but Charlotte picked most of it out. Hopefully you like it." Steve says before sitting on the bed then Charlotte climbing him and sitting on the top of his head.

"That never gets old" I chuckle when I see what she did.

When I start opening the presents, I first open a shoe box seeing a pair of boots I really wanted.

"Omg guys I love these. I really wanted them as well." I say.

"Well, Charlotte picked them out. She's done a good job." Steve says.

"Glad you like them daddy." Charlotte says and gives me a hug.

"Thank you guys for all of this. I love it." I say after opening the last present.

"No problem daddy. Glad you liked it all." Charlotte says while hugging me and not letting go.

"This is for the birthday boy." Steve says while walking in with a massive chocolate cake with chocolate caramel buttercream in and around the cake with caramel drizzle coating the top of the cake.

"Oh my that looks delicious. When did you make that?" I ask

"When you were still asleep. I baked it on the night." Steve says while cutting me a huge slice of it then a smaller piece for Charlotte.

"I love you guys so much." I say

"We love you even more!" Says Steve and Charlotte.

We end up falling asleep as one big happy family.
