Joe's POV

I strum the last chord on my guitar, that was my last rehearsal before the show. I shy happily, standing up from the chair. Only a few hours until I see Laura again, and I'm so excited. It's been forever, and I know how much she has missed me for the past few months.

Chloe walks in, clapping. I smile, bowing. "Thank you thank you" I joke, and she smiles. "It must feel good, knowing you only have one more show left" She says and I nod quickly. "Yeah, but time has gone by so quickly" I say and she nods too, sighing. "Yeah" she mumbles.

I walk into my dressing room, Chloe following behind me. I open the door to a huge pile of mail. I'm guessing today I have to look through all the mail first, since I'll be leaving with Laura straight away. "Want to help me?" I ask Chloe and she shrugs her shoulders. "I have nothing else to do for a while, so sure" She says happily.

*small time skip*

We look around the room, sighing. We have put all the mail into three groups; stuff that I want to keep, stuff that I will give to charity and stuff that I want to give to Laura. "Damn, your fans send you a lot of things" Chloe says jokingly and I nod, laughing. "Yeah, they're the best" I say, picking up one of the letters. It's from a girl called Kate, and she sent me an amazing drawing of Laura and I. It's the best piece of art I've ever seen.

"Do you want to go out and get something to eat? Like a celebration?" I suggest, changing the subject. She nods, smiling brightly. "That would be great" she says. I stand up, shaking all the dust off my trousers. "Lets go then!" I say, pulling her up.

We walk out of the dressing room, and out of the building. This probably wasn't the best idea since fans decided to line up early. We somehow sneak past them and cross the road to the cafe.

I relax into the red couches, looking at the menu. Chloe sits down across from me. "I'm so hungry" I groan, and Chloe nods. "Me too" She says, looking at the other menu.

*Another time skip lol*

I pay for the food, even though Chloe begs me not to. "I'll pay for you, you've been so busy these past few months" She says as I give the money to the cashier. "It's fine" I say, smiling at her. "Okay" She mumbles, finally giving up.

Hannah's POV

I pull out my phone, scrolling through my contacts until I find the person I need.

Hannah: Hey Laura! Want to meet up before you go see Joe? I need to tell you something xx

Laura: Yeah sure! Meet me at the nearest cafe x

I smile, turning off my phone. I need someone to talk to, so I can get all my feelings and thoughts out. I need to move on and accept the new me.

I walk to the cafe Laura was talking about, and I sit down at one of the stools, my foot tapping against the ground. The bell for the cafe door rings and I turn around to see Laura. I wave and she waves back, walking to me and giving me a hug. "Hey Hannah, you alright?" She says and I nod slowly, waiting for her to sit down. "Well, yeah. Kind of. I need to tell you something and I don't know how you'll take it"

Laura sits down, concerned. "What's wrong? I'll always care about you, you know that. You're my best friend" She says softly.

"Yeah, I know. Well, what I'm trying to say is, I don't think I'm fully straight" I confess.

Laura doesn't react. "That's it? I thought it was something serious!" She says, smiling. I smile back, feeling so much better now that I got that off my chest. "Thanks, I knew you would understand in some way" I give her a huge hug.

"I always will! I will never judge you" She says, laughing lightly. "Is that why you and Chris haven't been great lately?" She asks. "Yeah, I don't think he's the one anymore. I think it's someone else" I say slowly and Laura nods, signalling me to continue.

I swallow, my throat dry. I don't think I can tell her, but it's now or never.

"Well its you, Laura"

Laura's facial expressions change, her face goes red and she looks very uncomfortable. "Oh" That's all she says, and I put my face in my hands. "I don't care what you think of me now, I just needed to get that out there" I say, my voice muffled by my hands. "Look Hannah, I need to think. I'll see you later" I here a chair move and footsteps walk away from me.

I start to cry. I wish I never told her. Everything would be fine, all I would have to do is keep it bottled inside me forever. But no, of course I messed stuff up.

Like I always do.

Laura's POV

I quickly walk to the building where Joe is playing tonight. I can't think straight, so many thoughts are going around in my mind right now. I never thought Hannah would like me.

I wait patiently backstage, hiding behind the door of Joe's dressing room. Whatever about Hannah right now, I'm here to give Joe a surprise. I'm so excited to see him. It's been forever.

I imagine his face when I see him. He will give me a huge hug, kissing me. Chloe walks into the room, and I don't walk out, not yet. Joe walks in. "That was some nice food" He says, sitting down on the couch. "Yeah" Chloe says, sitting uncomfortably close to him. This would've been the perfect time to walk out and surprise him, but I don't. I'm curious to see what happens.

I should've surprised him then.

Chloe gets closer, and kisses him, and he doesn't pull back. I start crying, tears rolling down my face. Joe stops and turns around to see me, crying in the corner. "Laura" The colour drains from his face and I shake my head.

"It's over Joe" I walk out of the room, not stopping.

Maybe it's time for me to move on too.
