Laura's POV

I hear my phone vibrate, and I go check to see who's texting me. It's Hannah.
'Hey, sorry I can't go Sunday! I have to go meet my grandparents :( xx'

I sigh, I'm guessing I'm not going with anyone, I quickly type a reply 'It's okay! xx' and walk out to the kitchen, where Jack and Mark are editing on their laptops.
"Hey guys" I sit down, grabbing an orange from the fruit bowl. "Hey Laura, what's up? You seem a bit down" Jack looks up from his laptop to see if I'm okay. "No I'm fine, Hannah can't go Sunday by the way, she has to go meet her grandparents" I pick at the orange, not bothered to peel it. "That's a shame, but we have something that could cheer you up" Mark closes his laptop and Jack does the same, it must be important.

"What?" I put the orange back, I'm not hungry anyways. "We thought, well it's your decision, that you should make a YouTube channel, if you want to" Jack smiles, and I suddenly get excited.
"Really? I'd love to! I've always wanted to try YouTube" They look as excited as I do. "We thought you might like to, you do have a pretty big following on other social media sites, so we thought you might like to try YouTube" Mark says, I smile brightly. "Yes! I'd love to! When can I start?" "We can set up your channel today, and maybe you can film a video tomorrow?" Jack suggests, and I nod. "Perfect!"

I grab my laptop and make a new account, I want to start fresh and new. I put in an email Jack set up for me, I feel important and business like. "Oh, what could I put for my profile picture? I rarely take photos of myself" I scroll through my phone, most of them with Jack and Mark or Hannah.

"Well, I may have taken one of you secretly. I think it'd be cute" Mark gets his phone and finds the photo. It's me, looking out the window of the car, the first day of school. "I love it, it's perfect!" Mark sends it to me by email and I upload it as my profile picture. Now, all I have to do is a description of myself.

"I have no idea what to put, I'm just known because of both of you" I say, staring at the blank screen. Then I get an idea. I begin to type quickly, and I'm finished in a matter of seconds. I look at the screen, proud of what I wrote.

'People know me for being Septiplier's daughter, but I want people to know me as Laura :)'
Welcome to my channel!

"Thats perfect Laura! It also lets people know that you have your own identity too" Jack pats my back and I smile up at him. I press the save button and I throw my hand up in the air. "I'm done!" We all celebrate, and we have a big group hug.
I immediately go onto my social medias and update my statuses, letting people know I have a channel. I realise that Jack and Mark have done it too. "You guys didn't need to give my channel a shoutout" Mark looks over at me and smiles. "You're our daughter, we will help you in any way" "Thanks guys" I close down the laptop.

Only thirty minutes later, I check my subscriber count. I gasp. "Jack, Mark! Come here at look at this!" They both come out of Jack's recording room, obviously planning something. "Oh my god" Jack whispers, and Mark cheers. I've reached a million subscribers!

We all cheer and I feel ecstatic . "I would open a bottle of champagne but you're only fourteen so...." Mark says, and I grin. "What about pizza?" They both agree immediately and I order some. I go to my Twitter and tweet out "Thank you so much for a million subscribers already! This is amazing! Thank you to Jack and Mark for helping me reach it :) xx" I post it, and Jack and Mark retweet it immediately.
I get loads of replies, most of them kind and congratulating me, hoping to see a video soon. But a few were hate, saying I used them for subscribers. I block them, and I feel better. Just like Danisnotonfire said: "Move hoe, I don't need your negative vibes!" (If you get that reference I love you)

The pizza comes and we eat our pizza, discussing what my first video should be. "It should be a kind of sit down and chat video, so they get to know stuff about you, like a vlog" Jack says between bites of his pizza. "What about a Q&A where the viewers ask me questions about me and I can answer them?" I ask, and they agree. I go to my phone and post another tweet "Doing a Q&A for my first video tomorrow! Ask me questions about myself you'd like to know and I'll answer them. Use the hashtag #LauraQ&A !!"

I get into bed that day, buzzing with excitement. I get a few messages, from Hannah and Joe. Hannah says "Omg you have a YouTube channel?! Congrats ❤️" I type a reply "Thank you ❤️❤️"
I look at Joes message. "So you've made a YouTube channel? Congrats! I want to collab soon" I smile. "You wish 😉" He opens the message immediately. "Is that a yes or a no? ;)" "It's a maybe" I reply, and I turn off my phone.

I go back to my laptop and check my channel, amazed by how many people are coming and subscribing to me. I'm getting a lot of emails, saying people are subscribing. One catches my eye. "JoeMurphy123 has subscribed!" I click on the channel, and I'm amazed by what I see. He has 100k subscribers, and he seems to be a singer. I click on the video "i hate you i love you cover"

It starts with him holding a guitar and smiling at the camera, his blonde hair covering a bit of his right eye. I heart flutters a little, but when he starts to sing I get nervous and jumpy. His voice is smooth, but has a husky tone to it. It's absolutely beautiful. I fall in love with his voice immediately, and listen to the whole song, and I subscribe. Just before I was going to exit the video he says something. "This was dedicated to a girl out there who I want so very much. I love you L" My heart starts beating, is it me he's talking about? It must be.

I go onto my phone and type Joe a message. "I love your covers, they're amazing. Especially the 'i hate you i love you cover' x" He opens the message and types back "Thank you! I think you know who that was dedicated for ;) xx" My heart jumps a little. "Maybe, me?" I wait for him to reply, which takes a while and I get a bit impatient. He finally messages me back. "Maybe, you xx" I nearly drop my phone onto the floor.
I feel a weird feeling in my heart, and I think I know what it is.
