(Zoey's P.O.V)

A little ways down the hall, we reached a light blue door. Opening it, our jaws drop is amazement. There was a T.V, two beds, a mini fridge, and even a gaming counsel. Half of the room was a different color than the other and the two main themes seem to be lilac and light blue. In our life, since we lived in a stuffy, dusty, old, house, we never really saw anything bright. Ashley's eyes sparkle in amazement. "DIBS ON THE LILAC SIDE!" she yells and flops onto her bed, making her orange-brown hair static-y. I laugh and carry the light weight duffle bag into the room. "I hope you find the accommodations adequate. Tomorrow, wake up early!" Mrs. Bell says cheerfully and leaves the room. 

I look through a different door and find a bathroom where I strip and put on more comfy clothes. I tie my long blonde hair up in a bun and start putting away the little possessions we had. Ashley was running all over the place, practically destroying the place. "Ashley stop running around! Your going to break something." When she didn't stop I get a great idea. "Oh well, if you're not going to stop, I guess I am going to have to tickle you!" I shout and start tickling her sides. Ashley doubles over in laughter and falls onto the bed. "Now stay there, or you can change into your pjs." I say and toss her, her pjs. 

After she got changed, I put on a movie on the T.V. I think it was Big Hero 6. Anyway as soon as she was under the covers, she fell straight to sleep. I sigh and look at her. We actually managed to escape. I then straighten the room up from Ashley's excitement and turn off the T.V. I then snuggle into the sateen sheets of the bed and fall asleep.

Beep...Beep...Beep The alarm clock rings. I groan and roll out of bed. I look around the room and memories flood my head. I smile. Ashley lays in her bed softly snoring. I smirk and put my lips to her ears. "WAKE UP ASHLEY!" I shout and her eyes snap open. She screams and falls out of bed. While I laugh, she gives me a death glare. "Come on Ashley we need to get ready!" I say and her eyes widen in realization. She scrambles to get dressed and do her hair. After we got dressed we ran downstairs.

Once we reached the main lobby or the orphanage, we saw a long line where kids were getting money to go spend at the mall a little walk away. The line was going along fast so I think the adults didn't want to mess with a lot of impatient kids. Shortly it was our turn to receive our envelopes. Mrs. Bell wasn't operating the front desk, instead it was a woman with a tired face who I believe just wanted to get this over with. We take our envelope and start out the door to the mall.

Almost as soon as we entered the mall, Ashley was out of my sight. I shake my head at the thought of where she went. I start exploring the mall. I find a Spencers and get a few collectibles for the sake of having things. I mostly went to get new clothing since what I am wearing is terrible. I get a few tank tops, t-shirts, and skinny jeans.  Still exploring the mall with my many bags, I run into Ashley...who had light pink hair. "W-What the? H-How? Why?" I stutter, thoughts running through my head.

"Oh! You mean the hair. Do you like it? I decided that since we were starting a new stage in our life, I would get a new look!" her soft voice says. My head processes her words and I take one last look at her, then run off to the nearest hair salon. 

Once I open the doors to the salon, I am greeted by the smell of hair products. I scrunch up my nose and walk to the register. "Hi I would like to get my hair done." I say to the lady operation the stand. "Okay what would you like done?" She asks and I look around at the kids getting their hair dyed. "Oh just a light blue dye." I say and she writes my order down. "Okay you'll just have to wait a bit, but we'll have a station open shortly." she says and I nod and sit down.

After a bit, I was asked to sit up and go to a station. They put my bags down and put a smock thing around my neck. "Okay so I was told that you want a light blue dye?" another lady asked and I nod. She smiles "Okay then we'll get right to it." she says and starts brushing and washing my hair.

After a while of being turned away from the mirror the lady speaks "Okay I want this to be a surprise, so close your eyes and I'll turn you around." she says and I nod. I close my eyes and feel the chair spin around. "Okay now open!" she squeals and I opened my eyes. I see my with beautiful wavy blue hair. She takes off the smock and lets me grab my stuff. I then walk up to the cashier and pay.

Once I leave the salon I am greeted by Ashley yet again. "Hey Zo! I got ya' something." Ashley hands me a bag with a Fedora and a Pewdiepie t-shirt. "Woah Ash! Where did you find this?" She smiles "Around..." I look at her suspiciously, but shrug it off. "Come on let's get going!"I say and we walk out of the mall.
