Winnie's Pov

I have to go to some formal tonight, and I have to wear a DRESS! I head upstairs and see Ethan.

"Hey, Lollie. I was wondering would you be my date to the formal tonight?" he asked and I could tell he was nervous.

"I would love too, Ethan." I said and hugged him and kissed his cheek.

"Go take a shower!" Eleanor said pushing me to the bathroom.

"Pushy." I mumbled.

"I heard that." she said. She told me to get undergarments and a robe. I get finished and brush my teeth.

"I'm done." I said. They gave me a dress to put on. It was a short dress that had silver sequins on the top part, the bottom is black and flowy, and black heels. She French braids my hair and puts it into a bun. Danielle is doing my makeup, silver smokey eye, and nude lipstick. Bailey has a short dress that has silver sequins on the top part, the bottom is with and flowy, and white heels. Her hair is half up-half down. Danielle has a dress that is strapless all white high and low dress, white heels, and silver earrings. Eleanor has on a silver sequin at the top, spaghetti strap open back a-line, and the bottom is long, light pink, and flowy. She has on silver heels. We look pretty. We walk at the top of the stairs and the boys just stare at us.

"You look beautiful." Dad said and Ethan came to me.

"Hey, Winnie. I got you something." he said.

"You d-"

"I know I didn't have too, but I wanted too." he said and pulled out a silver heart necklace and it says best friends on the back. He put it on me, pecked his lips.

"I love it." I squealed and I twirl in a circle.

"Aye, watch it Winnie, someone gonna see your underwear." Liam said, my face heated up.

"Bailey, you look beautiful." Nick said as Jake walked in.

"Great sense of fashion, Winnie." Bailey said. We laughed.

"Hey, Jakey!" I said and hugged him.

"Did you plan this out?" Jake asked.

"Nope." we said at the same time and popping the 'p'.

"Thanks, for the necklace, Ethan." I said and kissed his cheek. I looked and they were glaring at us. "Excuse me, Ethan." I glared at the boys. "I swear to bob! If you ruin this for me, you will not have kids when get older and won't have 'fun'." I whisper shouted, I high fived Danielle and Eleanor and walked back to Ethan. Bailey kissed Nick on the cheek and Niall cleared his throat and she shot him a look.

"The limos are outside." Niall said and me and Ethan intertwined our fingers again. Me, Ethan, Nick, Bailey, Jake, Liam, and Dani rode in one limo. And the others are in the other limo. We got there 10 minutes later.

"We're here." Nick said stating the obvious.

"Paul will be in front then Nick and Bailey, then Ethan and Winnie and Jake in front of me and Danielle." Liam said we got out and walked in finally and saw A LOT of people.

"It's gonna be okay." Ethan assured me noticing me nervous.

"Let's sit down and wait for the others." Liam said pointing at the table. Right on cue Harry, Zayn, Niall, Dad, and Eleanor.

"Hey, guys." I said and waved.

"Hey, guys and gals." Harry said and sat down. Just then a slow song came on.

"Winnie, would you like to dance?" Ethan asked standing up and holding out his hand.

"Bailey, would you like to dance?" Nick asked standing up and holding his hand. Me and Bailey looked at each other and at the two boys.

"Ok." We said at the same time. Me and Ethan held hands and got on the dance floor. He put his hand on my waist but not to low, and I wrapped my hands around his neck. He kept looking at me.

"What?" I asked smiling.

"Your eyes are beautiful." he said and I knew I was blushing.

"Thanks." I said and giggled. He leaned in to kiss me and we heard someone clear their throat. Liam. I shot him a death glare. I turned my head and looked towards the door and saw the last person I wanna see. Hayden. "Ethan, I need to find Jake." trying not to cause a panic attack.

"Okay, he's still sitting down." he pointed out. We walked causally over their. I whispered into Jake's ear so only he could hear.

"Jake, Hayden's here." I whispered and looked at a face of terror.

"Where?" he asked quietly.

"At the door. He didn't see me, Jake he can't hurt us again, please." trying not to cry.

"Angel, what's wrong?" Harry asked and Zayn and Niall leaned in.

"Hayden's here." I whispered so Harry, Zayn, and Niall could hear. "he's gonna hurt me and Jake." I was trying not to cry.

"That's not gonna happen." Harry said and Zayn was texting.

"I texted Liam and Louis." Zayn said.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Liam asked as Dad came up behind him. I told them, and Danielle and Eleanor hugged me and Jake.

"Come with us." Eleanor said.

"No, if he sees us, you two can't fight him." Jake said.

"Jake stay with Zayn and Niall. Angel stay with me and Louis." Harry said.

"Wait, what about Nick and Bailey?!" I asked frantically. Then, I heard a girl scream. Bailey."Bailey." I muttered under my breathed.

"Where's Winnie?!" he asked.

"I'm not telling you!" she screamed and he slapped her but Bailey didn't break.

"Your bout as stubborn as her!" He said and Nick stepped in front of her. "What are you gonna do?"

"He might be to little but I'm not." Dad said stepping in front of both them.

"Oh, one direction is here. Wait, you adopted Winnie, so she must be where your other mates are." he said and looked around and his eyes landed straight on me and he smile. I just gave him a death glare and he headed towards me but Ethan stepped in front of me.

"Don't lay a finger on her." he gritted through his teeth.

"Back up!" he said and slapped Ethan and Ethan punched him. I took of my pumps and earrings.

"Oh hell no!" I screamed and pushed Ethan out of my way. And I got in his face. He smacked me and I laughed. "What a bitch slap!" I punched him, I kicked him where the sun didn't shine, and I straddled him and kept punching him. Someone pulled me off and I kept kicking.

"He's knocked out, Winnie!" I heard Zayns voice and I calmed down. I stood up straight and fixed my dress. I looked up and saw everyone staring at me.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU LOOKING AT?!" I screamed and they looked away. "Let's go!" we walked out. I was barefoot, my hair probably messed up, and probably a bruised face. I walked straight through past the paps and into the limo.

"Winnie, change into these." Danielle said handing me sweats and a big shirt. She grabbed a blanket and held it up so they couldn't see. I finished and sat in Ethan's lap. We finally got home after dropping Danielle and Jake off and everyone was in the living room. I was the last one into the flat and everyone was staring at me.

"Who's gonna start?" I said getting irritated of them staring at me.

"I will." Liam said standing and I could tell he was mad. "What the hell were you thinking?!"

"I was thinking I was fighting a 40 year old man!" I screamed.

"Are you crazy?!" he screamed. "he could of hurt you!"

"I'd rather be hurt by him than him slapping Bailey and Ethan!" I screamed.

"You think you can always handle yourself but you can't Winnie!" he screamed.

"I wasn't the one knocked out on the floor was I? No, I wasn't!" I screamed.

"That's not the point, Winnie! One these days your going to be seriously hurt and you won't even care!" he screamed with a red face.

"I sick of you doubting me! Why is it so hard to believe that I'm not normal?!" I screamed. He gets in my face and I start backing away.

"Sometimes you just make me get so angry that I don't know what to do!" he screamed.

"Liam, cal-"

"Shut up, Louis!"

"Liam!" Zayn screamed. I was seriously scared now.

"Winnie, you are grounded for a week! The only place you'll be is in your room and at school." he said sternly.

"For defending myself?!" I screamed.

"Just get out of my face, Winnie and go to your room." he said with eyes closed. I headed to the kitchen instead. "Where are you going?!"

"I'm getting food! What your gonna ground me from that two?!" I screamed. "and I don't have school!" I screamed and got my bottle and carrots. "Come on, Ethan." I said as I grabbed his arm.

"No hanging with Ethan either." he said sternly.

"You just can't face the fact that I like him! And your making a huge deal over NOTHING!" I screamed. He pinned me against the wall by my shoulders. "get off me, Liam!" I struggled but he had a good grip.

"Why the hell are you so stubborn?!" he screamed.

"Because, I can't never get people to trust and have someone hold me! I want to sometimes cry it out and hold me!" I yelled. "I'm done! Just hold me, please!"

"What?" he asked softly.

"Hold me please. Just please." I begged and he hugged me with my legs on each side. "I can't do it anymore, I've gave out."

"What do you mean, Winnie?" Zayn asked.

"I mean, just please don't leave me." I said hoarsely.

"What do you mean leave you?" Dad asked.

"God damnit! Just can I please have a normal life, please?" I asked.

"In this house, with these idiots. Your never gonna have a normal life." Nick said.

"Nick, shutup!" I said. "Ethan, sing."

"What?" he asked.

"Sing the song!" I said hoarsely.

"But-"

"Liam, put me down." I said and walked to Ethan and grabbed cheeks and kissed him on the lips. "just sing the song." I said smiling. "their staring at me aren't they?" I asked and he nodded. "Hazzy, looks like he's about to rip off someone's head doesn't he?" he nodded slowly and I sat in Ethan's lap and he sang little things.
