Sommer's POV:
"Hey! Where do you think you're going?"A familiar voice calls out to me. I turn towards them shifting my weight to my right leg and placing my hands on my hips as I see the person who's talking to me. "I asked you a question,"Says the one and only Calum Hood. "Calum,"I sigh running my fingers through my hair as I lean on my luggage. "Sommer,"He sighs, mocking me. "Look, my parents died and I need to go be with family..."I start to say. "We're your family, Sommer, we want you to stay,"He takes my hands into his. "But Calum, my blood family, not my friend family, needs me to come back and mourn with them,"I say slowly blinking back tears. My parents were killed in a car crash two weeks ago. My heart feels like it's broken into a million pieces. I'm lost without them and I need to be with family so I can "move on". But you know no one ever truly moves on. They just work their way through life, ignoring the past, and pushing the thoughts of the people they lost aside. I have to admit that I don't want to (as people say but do not actually do) "move on". I think going back to family is just going to remind me of my parents more and I will end up despising my family for it. I don't want that to happen.
Flashback...
"Hey dad,"I smile as my dad finally picks up his phone. "It's mom, dad's driving,"She says in a joyful tone. They went out to dinner together for date night. They seem to be enjoying themselves. "How was Rizzo's?"I ask biting my lip. I miss home, America in general. The constant fighting over whether Donald Trump should be president, the rednecks flying past in or on (yes I said on) their trucks, camping with my family, walking over to see my friends constantly, I just miss it all. But I wouldn't go back just yet, I'm having too much fun here with my new friends and new life. Away from my troublesome past. "It was great... How did you know we went to Rizzo's?"My mom asks with confusion in her voice and maybe a little tint of hope that I was there. "It's Rizzo's mom, I have this tiny mental breakdown, even if you guys didn't tell me you were there, whenever you are at Rizzo's,"I chuckle. I could hear my mother sigh and I could just tell that she must have rolled her eyes at my comment. "Sienna texted me that she saw you guys there; she says that she wants me to come down soon,"I say giggling. A fresh breeze hits my face and I shiver a little. I look over at the doors of a club that I just left to call my parents. Ashton (my amazing boyfriend), Luke (the guy I'm ignoring), Calum (my adorable older brother like figure), Michael (my best guy best friend in the world), Kylie (my friend, Calum's girlfriend), and Karli (my friend, Luke's girlfriend) are all inside having the time of their lives. "I should've known that she would snitch on us,"Mom giggles. "Who are you talking to?"Dad asks in the background. "You're daughter,"Mom tells him. "Which one?"He asks obviously I would imagine him rolling his eyes. "Sommer, Jeff. You're daughter Sommer, the one who is in Australia,"Mom says exasperated. "I know who Sommer is!"Dad chuckles. "Hey Sommer Girl, how's my amazing daughter?"He asks. "Amazing dad, I'm having so much fun here... You guys have no idea how great it is to finally catch my breath, anyways how's my beautiful mother and handsome dad,"I smile more being able to talk to them. "We're great,"Mom answered just as dad was saying "as handsome as ever." I snort and my parents laugh. "I've missed talking to you guys but you are probably having fun and I've got to get back to my friends so I'll talk to you later,"I say into the phone. I hate saying goodbye to my parents. I love talking to them so much and I miss being with them. "We miss you too honey,"My mom says softly into the phone. "Goodbye, sweetheart, have fun..."My dad pauses to think about what he just said. "BUT NOT TO MUCH FUN!!"He ends up yelling afterwards. I giggle. "I will have fun and I won't have too much fun...but the same goes to you two,"I smirk. "No promises,"Dad responds immediately before mom could intervene. "DAD!"I yell disgusted. "Jeffery!"My mom yells. "Sandra!"My dad yells back, stifling a laugh. "Goodbye, sweetie, we'll talk to you later and hopefully see you soon?"She says the last part as a question. "Maybe and Goodbye... Love you guys,"I say blowing a kiss into the phone. "Bye, love you too,"They both say at the same time. They hang up and I place my phone in my coat pocket, sighing. I take off my coat and bend my left arm placing the coat on it. I walk into the club and start partying like I've never partied before.
Later...
I threw up my arms and swayed them back and forth smiling. My hips move to the music as I dance with Ashton. Kylie rushes up to me with Calum, Karli, and Luke behind her. "What's up,"I smile at them, completely ignoring Luke. Kylie hands me my phone with a worried look on her face. Everyone else looks curious. I raise an eyebrow and press the phone to my ear. It was my mom's number but it wasn't my mom talking. I hear something that I didn't want to hear. My heart dropped and tears fall from my eyes. "Miss Bloom, I'm sorry to say but your parents have been killed,"The person says. Those simple 12 words ripped my heart out, threw it to the ground, stepped on it, picked it back up, shred it to pieces, and put it back in my chest. "What happened?"I ask once I finally get outside and away from the loud music. "Your parents were killed in a car accident,"The person says in a sympathetic tone. I flinch and more tears stream down my face. "A kid was texting while driving... The sign just turned green and your parents started driving but the kid didn't  notice his sign was red and he ran into them,"The person says. I fall to the ground, dropping my phone in the process. I hug my knees to my chest and just cry and cry some more. Suddenly arms wrap around me. It was Ashton, I could tell by his cologne. He hugs me close to him and I let go of my legs hugging him back. This can't be happening...
Right now...
"You don't have to go and I know you don't want to, your life is here and if you go back you'll be even more upset than you are now... Plus I'm here, your big brother/ best friend, Ashton's here... You know him he's your boyfriend..."Calum says. "Ya I know you guys,"I sigh. "And Michael is here... He's the guy that you prefer over me,"Calum huffs. I giggle. "I do not prefer him over you, Cal Pal... You're my brother and he's my best friend, I love you both equally,"I smile at him. "But you're supposed to love me more!"He pouts. I roll my eyes. "Never mind that... Just please stay, I'll do anything!"He begs, kneeling on the ground and clasping his hands together. He gives me his best puppy eyes. I roll my eyes. "Anything?"I ask. "Anything,"He agrees. "Fine I'll stay"
