Katelyn's point of view

"All packed to go to Luke's house?" Michael asked as I put my make-up on. "Is that what you're wearing?"

"Pajama shorts and a long sleeve? Hell no." I said and laughed. "My outfits on the chair." I said and he nodded.

"Anyways, I'll drop you off okay? I have to go to my parents house anyways. They want to talk to me and stuff." He said and I nodded.

"Don't feel obligated to go just because they brought you into this world." I reminded him as I put on mascara.

"I'm not. I just need to talk to them aswell." He said and I nodded. "I'll put your purse and suitcase in the car. Hurry up, Luke says his family are excited to meet you."

I nodded and he closed the door as he took my things. I finished with some red lipstick and then I brushed my hair out.

I pulled my shorts down and then put on some black skinny jeans. I took my shirt off and then pulled on a loose, white button up shirt. I put a black chocker on that had a bow tie on it and then slid on some heeled boots.

I finished lacing them up quickly and put in some silver heart shapped earrings that Michael bought me one say, followed by the necklace Luke gave me and the ring Jacob gave me.

I attached a little silver cuff to the left earring and slid it on, smiling as it shined. I went downstairs when I finished and Michael looked at me.

"Come on, let's go." Michael said and I followed him out of the house. "Also, you look amazing."

"Thank you." I said and smiled.

I walked into Luke's house and suddenly the smell of gingerbread and coffee filled my nose. "Katelyn," Luke said and I gave him a hug. "Come on, I'll out your things in the guest bedroom and then you can meet my parents and brothers."

"Sounds easy enough." I said and he laughed as he took me to a guestroom. I set my bag by the bed but kept my purse with me. "I'm ready to meet the brother who is better than you."

"Jack? Yeah, he's not here yet so..." He said and we laughed. "Come on." He said I followed him, turning the light off after we left the room.

I walked out with Luke and he took me to the kitchen. "Mum-"

"Is that Katelyn?" She asked immediately and I nodded as I smiled. "Oh my god you're so beautiful! Come here!" She said and I didn't have a chance to even move before I was being hugged. "I've heard so much about you. I can't believe I get to meet you, after what? Three months?" She said, directing the end at Luke.

"We were busy." Luke defended and I laughed as I hugged his hum back. "Plus, she had school and was in LA with Michael for awhile."

"He's not lying." I said and laughed. She nodded and then smiled brightly. "How are you today Ms. Hemmings?"

"Please, it's Liz. You should know that, Luke should be talking about his mother." She said and set her hands on her hips.

"He doesn't." I whispered to her and Luke looked at me with narrowed eyes. "Shame on you Luke." I said and we laughed.

"Come, you must meet Ben and Andrew. They're in the living watching some on football game." She said and I nodded.

"I'll bring out the cookies and coffee." Luke said and his mum nodded, not even turning around to look at him.

"Oh, I'm doing fine today. How are you?" She asked and I smiled, telling her I was fine aswell.

"Andrew, Ben, look who we finally get to meet." Liz said and I waved at them. "This is Katelyn, you know, Luke and Michael's adopted daughter."

"Is she now?" Andrew asked and I nodded. "Come here, give me a hug." He said and I did after he stood up. "Merry Christmas and welcome to the family love."

"Merry Christmas and thank you." I said and pulled away. "Hi Ben." I said to him and he smiled as he stood up.

"Hello," he said and we shared an awkward hug. "I'm assuming Luke's told you our names?"

"Not exactly. I saw your twitter accounts and the fans talk about you guys and stuff. I learned over time." I said and he huffed.

"I'm offended Luke." He said and I laughed. "Anyways, Jack is at his house asleep probably. Him and his girlfriend will be by soon, count on it."

"Can't wait to meet him. The fans say he's the best Hemmings, besides for Liz." I said and she smiled.

"I am pretty great. If it weren't for me none of these guys would be here." She said and Luke came out with two plates of cookies. "I'll help you Luke." She said and he thanked her.

"Come on, sit down. Don't be a stranger, we're family now." Ben said and I sat down beside him.

"How's school? Luke said he enrolled you into a nearby private school?" Andrew asked me and I chuckled.

"He did but I moved after like two months." I said and he nodded, telling me he knew that story. "Then I went to a public school in Los Angeles. It was really great and I'm getting decent grades. B's and C's in everything." I told him and he nodded.

"Any boyfriends or girlfriends I have to watch out for?" Ben asked and I blushed. "If you think your dads are protective, just know me and Jack are on a whole new level."

"His name is Jacob but he's really cool. I've known him for awhile now and the guys are okay with us dating. He got me this ring when he asked me to be his girlfriend." I said and showed him my finger.

"It's nice." He said and Luke's dad agreed. "How old are you? Surely a fourteen year old can't afford a ring like that. It looks expensive."

"I'm fourteen, he's sixteen." I said and he rose an eyebrow at me. "Luke and Michael were apprehensive at first aswell." I said.

"About what?" Luke asked and he walked out with some mugs. He handed me a navy blue one and I thanked him.

"You let your fourteen year old daughter date a sixteen year old?" Andrew asked asked Luke laughed.

"He's a good kid. Chill out dad." Luke said and I blushed. "He's sweet and treats her well. He also knows that one mistake can cost him his life so it's cool." He said and I nodded.

"Nearly beat the crap outta him one day." I muttered and Luke rolled his eyes. Liz hit Luke's shoulder and he choked on his coffee, I think it was coffee.

"Mum!"

"You don't beat the crap out of anyone!" She scolded and I laughed. "I'm sure Katelyn has great taste in guys."

"He once dyed his hair pink for me and his sister since we love the color." I said and she 'aww'ed. "He's a good guy, no need to get upset at the two year age gap."

"I'll lay off then." Ben said and I nodded. The doorbell rang and I jumped up. "I'll get it!" We both said and I ran to the door, careful not to twist my ankle.

I opened the door before he could and I laughed. "You got beat by a little girl in heels." I teasing to Ben and he laughed.

"Merry Christmas, who's this?" I heard a guys' voice and I looked at him. A couple stood there and I smiled.

"Come in, come in." I said and let them in. "Go sit down Ben." I said and tried pushing him but he wasn't budging. "Luke, your brother won't let me talk to your other brother!" I whined loudly.

"I'm not stopping you." Ben said smartly and I huffed. "Hey Jack, hey Celeste." Ben said and I closed the door after they walked in.

"Luke, who's this?" Celeste asked politely and I looked at Luke.

"You're really pretty wow." I said put loudly and she smiled, probably thinking that I was weird.

"Thank you." She said and smiled. "You're really pretty too. I love your hair." She said and I thanked her.

"This is Katelyn." Luke said and I nodded. "I've told you about her, remember? She's Michael and I's daughter." He said and Jack nodded.

"Oh yeah, you told me that she was coming over for Christmas. I'm sorry. Hello," Jack said and I waved.

"Hi, and don't worry about it. It's okay." I said and he nodded. "Is that your girlfriend?"

"Yeah. She's mine so back off." He joked and I laughed as I backed up.

"I'm dating someone anyways so I'm not going for it. You're safe." I said and the two laughed. "Come on, Liz and Andrew are in the living room."

"Come on you." Luke said and I followed him to the living room. "You're so weird Katelyn."

"So are you." I retorted as I sat down. "You licked a guitar because you wondered what it tasted like. That's weird."

"You wore a bright red dress with blue converse." He shot back and I blushed at the terrible time.

"I woke up to you sleep walking around the house and calling Michael mama." I said and Liz rose an eyebrow and him.

"I caught you walking across the roof when you could have taken the front door." He told me.

"I heard you ask siri what happens if you accidentally swallow a coin." I said and folded my arms.

"You own a shirt that says 'Merry Christmas, kiss my ass'." He told me.

"News flash Robert, it's Michael's shirt." I said and he narrowed his eyes at me.

"Yeah, but that red onesie in your closet is all yours May." He said and Ben broke it up, saying we're both weird.

"You're weird." Me and Luke said and then looked at each other. "Jinx! Double jink! Triple jinx! Shut up!" I said and Jack put a hand over his mouth.

"That's really cool, annoying but cool." Andrew said and I smiled. "You licked your guitar Luke? Really?"

"And you wore a red dress with blue converse?" Celeste asked me and I nodded. "Why would you ever?"

"It was a dare from a friend back in LA. I lost a bet and had to do a fashion disaster thing." I said and she nodded. "Luke has no explanation."

"I do actually-"

"Okay, but do you have an explanation as to why you called Michael your mama?" Liz asked and I rose both eyebrows as I looked at Luke. He was screwed.

"Mu-"

"He didn't carry you on his stomach for almost a whole damn year an-"

"Save the roasting for when Katelyn's not here." Andrew said amused and I laughed. "We need to talk about that quarter Luke."

"No we don't." He said and I rolled my eyes. "It was a dime." He said and his eyes widened as he realized what he said.

"That's your son." Jack said as he patted his dad on the shoulder. "That's your dad." He told me and I laughed.

"I was adopted, that's your brother." I said and he looked at Luke then at me.

"I think he was adopted aswell." He said and we all laughed. Luke pouted and Celeste pinched his cheeks.

"He's no longer the baby of the family now." She said and Luke smiled evilly at me. "He's a daddy now. Be nice and respect him." She said.

"I'm still his older brother, I'll make as many jokes as I want about him." Jack said and Ben agreed. "He's my baby brother."

"I'll even ask Katelyn for help on what kind of pranks to pull." Ben aaid and winked at me.

"I'm not saying I'll help you guys, but you better watch your back Luke." I said and Liz laughed.
