Vanessa's point of view

"I'm sleepy." I said as I sat down beside Calum. He looked at me and then grabbed the sleeve of the shirt I was wearing, looking at it.

"Is this-"

"Yes." I said and he rolled his eyes. "I forgot to give it back. You let me borrow it to sleep in when I stayed the night and yeah." I said and he nodded.

"It's fine." He said and laughed. "They're going to be here in like five minutes." He said and I nodded "Luke decided to start barbecuing early."

"Is Arz and Mikey out there too?" I asked and he nodded ad he put an arm over my shoulders. "Ashton? Bryana?"

"On their way." He said and I nodded. The doorbell rang and I stood up. "That might be them." He said and I nodded as I walked over there.

I opened the door and out of shock, I slammed it shut. "Vanessa? Are you okay over there?" Calum asked and I turned around. "Who was it?"

"Fuck." I said, realizing I just slammed the door in front of one of my favorite bands. I opened the door and Calum laughed.

"I know my face is funny but at least let us in before you laugh at it." Alex said and I blinked. "You are very rude." He said and pointed at me.

"Got to go." I said and then ran outside. I looked at Arzaylea and she was helping Luke barbeque. "Okay then I'll leave." I said because Luke had a nice grip on her bum and I didn't want to see that.

"Oh shit Vanessa," Luke said and the pulled and way a bit. "Michael, why didn't you tell us she was out here?" He asked and I looked at him.

"I didn't even know she was out here!" Michael defended and I rolled my eyes. "Go back inside." He shoo'ed and I huffed as I nodded.

"You're mean." I said and stuck my tongue out at him before going back inside. I looked at Calum and scratched the back of my neck. "I am not wanted out there and I don't want to be out there."

"Ah!" Jack yelled as he looked at me. "You're Vanessa!"

"Ah!" I yelled back. "You're Jack!" I said like he did and he ran up to me, giving me a tight hug.

"Don't kill her." Rian said and I laughed as Jack let me go. "We've been dying to meet you."

"The feeling is mutual, trust me." I said and Calum chuckled. "This is unreal. I'm going to cry."

"Don't cry, you're an ugly crier." Calum said and I flipped him off as they laughed. "It's a fact."

"You're a dick, that's a fact."

"You love me though." He said and gave me a hug. "Right?" He asked and I rose an eyebrow at him.

"Wrong."

He pointed a finger at me and I stuck my tongue out at him. "Are you guys like... dating?" Rian asked as Zach and Alex went outside to say hi to Luke.

"Dude." Jack said after neither of us answered. "Aren't you fifteen?" He asked me and I nodded. "You're dating?"

"I'd appreciate it if you were quieter." Calum whisper hissed since the sliding door was opened. "We know it's weird okay, you don't have to yell."

"I mean, he's older than Luke. That's gotta be weird." Rian said and I shrugged. "Isn't the limit like... Don't date over your dad's age."

"My biological dad would be like sixty if he was still alive so..." I said and he pointed at me as he nodded.

"Is it like a sugar d-"

"Bye." I said and Calum laughed as he grabbed my arm. "I got money, I just have to wait until I'm sixteen to get it. Then I have to wait until I'm eighteen to be able to spend it how I wish."

"Right right." Rian said as he shook his head. "Jesus Jack, her dad was a rockstar. She doesn't need a sugar daddy."

"We're right here." Calum butt in and I pulled my bikini bottoms up. "Are you in a two piece?" He asked me as he noticed me and I nodded.

The doorbell rang and I ran to the door to escape the awkwardness. I opened it and it was Ashton, Bryana, and Miranda. "Ah! My child!" I yelled and gave Miranda a hug.

"Jesus Nessa, you saw me like two days ago." She said and I shrugged as I let them in. I locked the door behind them and she stayed behind as the other two walked ahead. "Cal's shirt?"

"Yeah." I said and she nodded as we walked in. "Oh, hi Ashton, hi Bryana." I said and they waved at me and returned the greeting.

"Who's that?" Jack asked as he pointed to Miranda. "I like your hair."

"I like your face." She said and he laughed as they shook hands. "I'm Miranda, but call me Andy if you want." She said and he nodded.

She shook hands with Rian and I looked at Calum. He smiled and I smiled back before walking up to him and grabbing his hand.

"Did you even bother with actual clothes over that?" Calum asked and motioned to Miranda's bikini.

"Sí," she said and pulled a shirt out of her backpack. "Is that Good Charlotte?" She asked as a song played.

"Like the time mom went to the institute cause she was breaking down," I said and let go of Calum's hand to play the air bass. "Like the car we had that wouldn't start, we had to walk to get around-"

"And that same year oon Christmas Eve, dad went to the store, we checked his room his things were gone, we didn't see him no more." Miranda sang with me and Calum looked at us amused.

"Dick!" Jack yelled with us and I high fived him with Miranda. "Do you like me yet?" He asked and I nodded. "Yes!"

"What about me?" Rian asked and I nodded. "We're your favorite, great. The others suck." He said and I agreed as I took the shirt off since it was really hot.

"Strip it baby." Miranda said and I rolled my eyes. She put a twenty dollar bill in my top and I winked.

"Are you sure your girlfriend isn't gay?" Jack asked and I glared at him. "I'm sorry, don't kill me!" He yelled and ran outside.

"You're my favorite Rian." I said and he smiled, giving me a thumbs up. I tossed the shirt on the couch and he said he was going to talk to Ashton.

He left and I looked at Miranda as she pulled her bikini top up. "How you feeling?" I asked her and she shrugged.

"Trying to be happy." She said and I put the twenty in her top.

"What's wrong?" Calum asked and we shook our heads. "Don't wanna talk about it?"

"No, it's fine." She said and Jack came in. "I thought you were gonna be outside."

"Just gonna take your little girlfriend." He said to Calum and then picked me up.

"Put me down!" I yelled and Calum laughed. "Help me! I need help!" I said and when Jack tried to throw me in the water, I gripped on to the fabric of his shorts so he was dragged down with me.

They all laughed and I glared at them. "Dude looks like a lady!" Calum yelled and then jumped in, causing a large splash that made Arzaylea and Bryana squeal since it hit them.

"Calum!" Bryana said. "You wet my clothes!" She said and then unbuttoned the white button up she wore.

"Take it off." Miranda said and then slipped her the twenty. We all laughed and Bryana rolled her eyes as she took her shirt off aswell.

"Damn Holly, still looking good." Jack said and Alex agreed. Ashton put an arm around her waist and then sent them a glare.

"Hi." Someone said and I squealed, going under as Calum tickled my sides. I pushed him away and Luke looked as me.

"Where are your clothes?" He asked, pointed a spatula at me.

"In hell." Calum and I said, caising me to splash him. "Bye, no one likes you." I said and forced him to go away.

"I like Calum." Zach said and nodded at him. "Bassists have to stick together." He said and Calum swam to the edge, high fiving him.

"Well, I play bass too and I say screw Hood." I said and shrugged. "You can leave, Michael is better, you know, guitarists man." I said and Michael cheered.

"Hell yeah! Me and Jack are the best." He said and Jack looked at Luke.

"You and Alex are lead singers, you guys don't count." He said as Luke protested. Alex pouted and Miranda cleared her throat.

"I don't know about you, but drummers. Am I right Bryana?" Miranda said and she nodded. "Drummers are the best."

"I think lead singers rock." Arzaylea said and I shook my head at her. "Oh look, AC/DC is playing."

"It's a long way to the top if you want to rock n roll." Me and Jack sang together and Ashton cheered, 'Australian power!'.

"You are garbage." Calum said and rolled his eyes at Ashton. I laughed and then head banged a bit as the song played.

"I actually met the band once." I said and everyone looked at me. "Given, I was like ten, but I met them before. I think I have their number somewhere in an old journal too." I said and Ashton got on his knees.

"You gotta introduce us."

"We'll see." I said and Calum laughed. "The perks of knowing me." I said and Miranda nodded as she sat down beside me. "Tummy!" I yelled and pulled her into the pool after grabbing her tummy.

"Hamburgers are ready." Luke said and I wiped my eyes as I popped out of the water. "Did you girls put sunscreen on?"

"No." I said and Miranda nodded. "Well, I'm going to burn. Good bye world." I said and floated on my back.

Bryana jumped in aswell and I gave her a thumbs up. "Six out of ten, could have made a bigger splash and done some tricks."

"Shut up!" She said and laughed, wiping her face as she looked at me. "Get in here guys!" She said and I fixed my top since it was messed up a bit.

"This time, this place, misued, mistakes," Michael sang along to Nickelback and Rian cut me off before I could speak.

"Next you're going to say you've met Chad." He said and everyone looked at me as I blushed.

"You're not wrong, I have." I said and smiled sheepishly. "He was... cool. Kind of weird, but cool." I said and Calum agreed with me as I crossed my arms over the edge of the pool.

Calum got out and I could help but stare. Miranda and Jack hit me to snap me out of my daze and I hissed. "Ow!" I said and they gave me a look.

"You were staring." Jack said quietly and I nodded. "Stop being a perv!"

"You're being a perv!" I yelled and splashed him. Rian agreed with me and Zach laughed, taking Rian's side.

"Come on Jack, we all know how much you love women." Alex said and I stuck my tongue out at Jack. "You're a perv, we're all a little bit of a perv sometimes though."

"It's Mr. Steal yo' girl," Calum said, singing along to the stereo. Alex sang with him and I rolled my eyes at him.

"Bottoms up, bottoms up, pockets full of green, girl you know I love the way you shake it in them jeans." They sang and Luke joined in since he was well... Luke.

"Why are we dating?" Arzaylea asked and Bryana repeated it when Ashton started to rap Nicki Minaj's part.

"Michael is the only-nevermind." Rian said as he saw Michael twerking a bit. "Turn away kids." He said and I shook my head.

"Why did I agree to date that?" I asked myself quietly and Jack laughed.

"I don't know." He said and rubbed my back. "Ooh, that scar. What happened?"

"Car accident." I said and he nodded as he stopped touching me immediately. "Calum?"

"He looks like wants to kill me." Jack said and I laughed loudly as Miranda got out. "Where are you going young child?"

"This is my song kids." She said and high-fived Calum as they danced to a different song. "You spin my head right round, right round, when you go down, when you go down down." She sang with Calum and I looked at Rian and Jack as Michael joined them with the singing and dancing.

"Can I live with you guys?" I asked and Rian nodded as he looked at them all weirdly.

"I want to join, that looks like fun!" Jack said and got out, leaving Bryana and I the only ones in the pool.

"Oh no." Zach said and I agreed. "He's not even hammered yet and he's being an idiot."

"That's Jack for you." Rian said and I laughed as I watched them all make fools of themselves.

"Ayo Vanessa, wanna find a new dad?" Arzaylea asked and I nodded. She gave me me a thumbs up and we both looked at Luke, who had Michael grinding on him and Jack's arm around his shoulders.

I hate people sometimes, I thought as I facepalmed.
