- Sorry for the bad chapter, I haven't been feeling good at all and it's a struggle to move anything because my back is hurting more than period cramps without pain killers and heating pads. I've also been like, super sad lately and it takes also toll on my writing, so yeah. xx -

Vanessa's point of view

"Calum?" I asked as the door opened. It was three in the morning and I couldn't go to sleep. "Cal?" I asked again.

"Hmm?"

"Just making sure." I said and then laid back down. I looked at the laptop and the bed dipped down a bit. I continued watching anime and he turned the light on.

I squinted my eyes a bit since I was so used to it being dark and I looked at him. "You okay? You can't even balance yourself." I pointed out as I sat up.

I paused the show and then kicked the blankets off of me. I shivered a bit since it was cold, my shorts and oversized shirt not helping me much, and then he looked at me.

"I'm fine." He mumbled as he took his shirt off, turning his back to me. I nodded and then took notice of the red scratches along his back. "Go to sleep."

"I'm not tired." I said and then turned towards his laptop. I shut it off and then closed it, setting it beside the wall and the dresser like he had it.

He went to the bathroom to brush his teeth and I spotted a couple of hickies along his collarbones. "Where did all of those come from? The scratches and like, those hickies?" I asked and he said that I did it.

I blinked a few times and then looked down at the bed. "Did I really?" I asked and he nodded as he spat out toothpaste into the sink.

I nodded and then laid back down, throwing the blanket over me. "Are you gonna come cuddle?" I asked and he said after he takes a shower he will.

My phone buzzed on the nightstand and I grabbed it. Andy texted me a bunch of keyboard smash and I just laughed, ignoring the notifications because I didn't want her to know I was awake. I didn't feel like texting at the moment.

I put my phone on silent and then I heard the shower running. I turned the light off since it wasn't necessary and then jumped back into bed, curling up into a caccoon. A small yawn escaped my lips and I buried my face into the pillow.

I don't know how long I spent staring out into a black room with my mind running, but I do know that it was the entire length of Calum's shower. He soon laid down in front of me and then threw the blanket over himself.

"Cuddle?" He asked me and I nodded. I scooted closer to him and he threw his arm over me as he tangled our legs together. "Night beautiful."

"Are you sober?"

"Buzzed," he said and I chuckled. "But that doesn't make what I said any less true." He told me and I felt the smallest bit uncomfortable when his hand went a little too low to grab my bottom.

I kept my mouth shut and nodded. "Night Cal." I said and as he fell asleep, I stayed up because the longer his hand was there, the more uncomfortable I got.

"What's up?" Calum asked as he watched me scroll through Twitter. "We're gonna leave for lunch soon. We slept through breakfast."

"You were all hung over so I don't see why that's surprising." I said and he chuckled as I leaned my head on his shoulder. "I have a box full of phone cases that I need to mail, mind helping me before we start moving around again?" I asked and he shook his head.

"I'll help." He said and I nodded as I scrolled past a couple of update accounts. "Wanna go see if Mikey and Ash are ready?" He asked quickly and I shrugged.

"I'll still sleepy. I didn't go to sleep until four." I told him and he kissed my cheek, blocking my view from my phone. "I know you like me and all, and I like you too Cal, but smudge my glasses and I'll kick your brown ass."

"I'd like to see you try." He said and I turned my phone off. I put it in my back pocket and he looked me in the eyes. "You're a lot prettier without make-up."

"You're a lot prettier with make-up."

"I try being cute and I get called ugly, I give up." He said and I laughed as he huffed. "You're mean."

"True." I said and nodded and then stood up. He did the same and then tackled me in a hug. I laughed and he buried his face in my neck.

"Fuck this choker." He said and I rolled my eyes as he unclipped it. I felt his lips under my neck and I hummed. "That's better."

"Am I chew toy Calum?"

"You are now."

"I see." I said and ran a hand through his hair. A knock sounded on our hotel room door and Calum groaned. "Go answer it." I said and he groaned again.

"Fine." He said and I took the choker, wrapping it around my neck after I wiped the area. I followed him and then looked at Michael, who was rubbing his eye sleepily.

"Does any of you mind sparing a jacket or some shit?" He asked and I laughed. "I don't feel like unpacking clothes just to pack them back up tonight."

I ran into our room and then grabbed a shirt I'd taken from Luke one day. I went back to the door and held it out. "Onion." I said and he laughed as he took it.

"Thanks." He said and I nodded a aids he walked back to his hotel room. "Stop stealing our clothes."

"Stop letting me borrow them."

"Reasonable." Calum said and I nodded as he closed the door. I closed my eyes as I leaned my head against his shoulder and he chuckled as he wrapped his arm around me. "Wanna mess around on the band's snapchat?"

"Yes."

"Who are we picking up?" I asked Luke as I rocked back and forth on my feet. "A-"

"My family." He said and smiled. I nodded and he gushed a bit about it. "I miss them so much. I haven't seen my mum and dad in so long, and my brothers? Oh god I'm so excited." He said and I nodded.

"What happens if your mom hates me?" I asked and Luke said that wasn't an option. I nodded and crossed my arms as we caught sight of his family, walking by with a carry on bag each.

"Mum! Dad!" He said and ran up to them. I smiled because he acted like a six year old after his first day of first grade and I nodded at Jack and Ben.

We shared hugs and Ben chuckled. "You're adorable. You're Nessa right?" He asked and I nodded. "You look like your biological mum so much, that's a blessing."

Jack laughed and pulled me into a hug. "Don't hit on her." He said and I laughed as he rubbed my back. "I'm glad to finally meet you."

"You guys too." I said and they nodded as Luke went to hug them. "Hi." I said and Liz practically jumped as she hugged me.

I wasn't expecting this.

"I've waited months to meet you love! Luke's told us so much and although some made me want to fly to America and hit him, I'm so glad to finally meet you." She said and I told her the same.

Luke's dad gave me a hug and he chuckled. "Nice to meet you Andrew." I said and he nodded.

"Likewise Vanessa." He told me and I looked at Luke. "Luke's been good eh?"

"So and so." I said and Luke rolled his eyes as Ben began to scold him on being a good dad. "Are the other guys' families coming too?" I asked excited and Liz nodded.

"Joy and Karen will be together! Anne-Marie needs to work the kids' schedules out before they come too." She said and I cheered. "It's a secret."

"Mali will hate me but I'm excited." I said and Jack said that she wouldn't hate me. "Come on, I think there's enough space in the car for all of us." I said and Luke nodded as he took his mum's bag.

"So, how's tour been?" Jack asked me as we walked ahead, the others engaging in some conversation about Australia and home.

"So much fun." I said honestly. "Fuck, I love it so much." I told him and when we stepped out, there were some fans recording us and asking Luke about his relationship and how he thinks Arz is a slut.

"Hold on there p-"

Jack put an arm over my shoulders to keep me from coming at him with fists flying and Luke rolled his eyes when he turned way from the camera. "Ignore them." Luke said and I nodded as Jack began to tell me about what they like to do in Aussie and that if I ever went over, he'd teach me how to surf.

"I'm holding you to that promise." I told him and he nodded armed we put the bags away. The fans with their phones continued to record us as they yelled at us for being rude and 'big headed'.

I mean, you're insulting his girlfriend... He's going to ignore you... Dumbshits.

I got in and then look at Jack beside me. "If I rolled down my window and flipped t-"

"No."

"Please-"

"Nessa, I will cut you." Luke said and I raised my fists as I narrowed my eyes at him.

"Square up Hemmo." I said and they all laughed. "I'm not as tall as you but I will fight you." I told him and Ben told us to settle down.

"Simmer down."

"This is why everyone prefers Jack Hemmings, he doesn't pull stupid shit like this." I huffed. "Luke, you need to make like Zayn and leave." I told him and did Ben held his heart.

"Too soon." He said and Liz muttered about giving birth to morons. "Thanks mum, love you too." He told her and Andrew laughed.

"Turn the radio up, will ya' son." Andrew said and Luke did.

"This is my song, where is Mikey when you need him?" I asked as I danced in my seat. "I just need one more shot at forgiveness." I sang and Ben sang with me as Luke shook his head.

"Is it too late now to say sorry? Cause I'm, missing more than just your body!"

Jack joined in shortly after and Luke handed Andrew his phone, mumbling something about recording. I smiled at the phone and waved as I sang the song with two/thirds of the Hemmings brothers.

"You're an idiot Nessa." Liz said and I smiled as I laughed. "Luke don't crash, what the hell are you doing? Oh my god I'm gonna die."

"No you're not mum, I've got this." Luke said and I laughed again. I stretched a bit and Jack groaned since I hit him in the neck.

"We just met and she's already hitting me!" He said and Ben scolded me for abusing people.

"It was Luke."

"What n-"

"We're brothers Luke!" Jack cried and pretended to wipe his eye. "I thought you loved me!" He said and I rubbed his back as Luke rolled his eyes, clearly both done and amused with our shit.
