~Ash's POV~
I wake up and groan in pain, Riley who was already dressed and ready to go must've heard me cause she left and came back with a glass of water and two pain relief pills. I smile and take the medicine she waves goodbye and leaves as I fall back asleep. When I woke up I found out that my mom was live streaming with Adam and them. I decided to watch since I was bored and secretly joined their Skype call but kept my mic muted when the stream ended I saw everyone putting on their face cams I unmuted my mic and yelled "HASHTAG KATEMAU!" and muted my mic again as soon as I said that. It was funny cause only Adam knows about Katelyn and their marriage the other guys still think she's single with two adopted kids. As soon as I said that I saw my mom's face become red from embarrassment. Then all of a sudden I see her muting her mic and putting her headphones on the desk and getting up. "Oh, no." I say putting my laptop down and turning off my camera and facing it at the door. I lock the door and barracked it with my desk leaning against it smirking as Adam laughs and the others ask what's going on. I hear the doorknob try to turn but stops then, apparently mom tried to shoulder the door down like what Kat does but fails. After a few seconds I see her picking up her headphones again and turn her mic back on. Adam asks "Jess, what on earth did you do?" "She locked the door and I tried shouldering the door but that obviously didn't work." She says while rubbing her shoulder. Smirking, with my wireless mouse and headset with mic I turn on my camera while saying "Well, maybe cause I barracked the door." "Why you little-" she started but I muted her mic then unmuted it and said "I'm sorry what was that?" She scowls at me "What's the matter, am I too much like your lover?" I ask mischievously while still smirking "Jess, what is she talking about?" Everyone but Adam asks, I say smirking my butt off "News flash guys she's married to another woman." "THATS IT YOUR DEAD WHEN I GET UP THERE!" She yells as she leaves the call I do as well and climb out of my window and parkour my way the to Adam's house and run to his office and see him still in the Skype call. I notice that my mom had rejoined the call when my mom sees me she yells "How the hell did you get over there?! I thought that you were in your room?!" "Simple, I jumped out my window and parkoured my way here." Everyone soon leaves the call and mom comes to pick me up. While I'm waiting a 10 year old boy with blue eyes and hair runs up to me. He says, "Hi, my names Grim." "Hi, my names Ash if you don't mind me asking, why is your hair blue?" "I dyed it to match my mommy's hair color cause she dyes her hair blue." "Who's your mom?" "Katelyn." He answers with a smile. Shocked I yell, "Adam!" He comes running but stops when he sees Grim standing in front of me. "Is this the reason that you knew Jess was married to another woman?" He hangs his head and says, "Yes, 10 years ago Katelyn told me that she wanted to have a child and surprise Jess. She asked me to be the father and I said yes. When she got pregnant she told Jess that she was going on a family trip for 10 months. But in reality she just stayed here, when the child came she couldn't take care of him. She thought that she was going to break Jess's heart and told me to keep him, so I did." "Wait a minute you and Katelyn had a child together that Jess doesn't know about?!" "Yeah, pretty much." After that we heard the doorbell and I saw mom, Riley and Kat standing there. Adam let them in and I walked out with my hands balled into fists and my jaw clenched. "KAT WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL US THAT YOU HAD A BABY WITH ADAM?!" I yelled at the top of my lungs. Kat just stood there frozen while mom had a look of hurt in her eyes and Riley was just confused. "Kate, is this true?" Mom asks on the verge of tears, "Yes, but before you divorce me hear me out. The reason I did that was so we can have our own child. It wasn't going to be mine and Adam's child, it was going to be our child. Adam was a sergeant father and it was my choice not his. But when the child was born I thought you were going to disown him or leave me. So I gave the child to Adam." Mom forgave Kat and we all head home for diner and a movie when the movie ends I go to bed and fall into a terrifying nightmare.
