~Ash's POV~
I wake up and get dressed cause it's my first day of school high school to be exact. I've never been to a public school before. The orphanage owner homeschooled us and I put on my wolf costume. At least Kat will be there since she's the gym teacher. I sit on my bed and draw until I hear mom yell "Ash, your toaster strudels are ready!" I put down my sketch book and bolt downstairs I was running so fast that I accidentally tackle both of my parents. "What on earth is with you and tackling me?" Kat asked annoyed but giggling we all get up and eat breakfast. Mom hands me a black backpack and I put it on and wait for Kat on the porch. I hear the door open and I see my parents say I love you and kiss I giggle and say "Aww. Katemau." "Go, get in the car." Kat says flushed I do as Kat said and climb into the silver suv. When she gets in I say "You two are so cute together." She just blushes and starts the car and we drive to school. When we get there she takes me to the office and I get my schedule and see that I have gym after lunch. I hug Kat and say "Bye mom, see you later I love you." I head to my first class nervous cause it's the middle of the school year.
X time skip to lunch X
I walk into the cafeteria, get my lunch and sit down at an empty table. A girl my age with reddish-brown hair and hazelnut colored eyes sits down next to me. "Hi, my names Riley. What's yours?" "My names Ashton but I go by ash and I only let my friends call me dragon." "Can I be your friend?" "You'd be friends with a girl who pretends to be a wolf and walks around on all fours?" "Yeah, that sounds like fun. What's your next class?" "Gym, why?" "Really me too. You know what I'll walk you there." I smile and nod as we get up and head to the gym. We walk in and realize that we're the last ones. I run over and give my mom a hug then sit down with Riley. "I thought I was the only one who loves gym." "Nope, and she's my mom." "Really, that's so cool. I wish I had a mother who cares." We continue to talk as we do the exercises and activities. "Yeah, I have no dad and all my mom does is drink. I'm going to an orphanage at the end of the week since my mom has no job and spent the last of our money on alcohol." "Instead of just one loving mother how would you like two loving mothers?" "What are you saying?" "I'm saying that I can talk to my parents about adopting you and we can be sisters." "I would love that. Having two loving mothers is better than having a heartless one." When gym is over Kat asks "Dragon, Riley, can you two please help clean up?" We help clean up the gym and I ask "Hey, mom?" "Yeah?" "Can we adopt Riley?" What she says next surprised me "Of course we can. I'll call Aph now and tell her." I skip out of the gym as happy as can be I went the rest of the day with a smile on my face. I meet up with Riley and ask "Is there anything that you need to go home and pack?" "No, why?" "Cause you're my sister now." I yell with excitement her eyes widen "Are you serious?!" "Dead serious"  "Come on you two let's go home." I hear Kat yell we run to the car. "I wanna share a room with dragon." "We can have a bunk bed!" "Yeah!" We get out of the car and run to the door although I run into the door. "Ash, are you ok sweetie?!" Jess asked concerned as she opens the door I nod and walk inside laughing. "Riley, can I call you vixen? Since you call me dragon." "Yeah!" I show her to our room while our moms go and buy a bunk bed for us. "Are you ok with the wall color?" "Ash, everything in the room is fine." We finally get the room set up for the both of us we both have navy blue sheets just different colored comforters. Our parents had to call Adam, and Ross over to help. "I call top bunk!" I yell putting my comforter down. Vixen gets to go shopping for new clothes tomorrow after school. We eat dinner and me and vixen take showers and head to bed.

~Jess's POV that morning~
I woke up smiling cause I'm a parent now. I get up after fighting with Katelyn to let me go and get dressed. Before I walk downstairs I check on Ash and see her peacefully asleep. I walk downstairs and into the kitchen to fix breakfast. I cook scrambled eggs and bacon, I also put two toaster strudels in the toaster for ash. As I'm pouring the cooked eggs onto plates I feel two arms snake around my waist. Just out of the corner of my eye I see a glimpse of light blue hair. Since I'm shorter than her she kisses the top of my head I smile as ash's toaster strudels pop up. I feel Katelyn take a step back I yell "Ash, your toaster strudels are ready!" Then I hug Katelyn as we hear thundering footsteps next thing I know I'm lying on the ground face to face with Katelyn with ash on top of us. Katelyn yells annoyed but giggling "What on earth is with you and tackling me?" Ash shrugs and gets up and we all sit down to eat. We finish and put our dishes in the sink and I hand ash a black backpack and she runs out the door to wait for Katelyn. I follow Kate to the door and she turns to me and says "I love you." "I love you too." As we kiss I hear ash say "Aww. Katemau." Me and Katelyn pull away flushed and Kate yells "Go, get in the car." She does as she's told while giggling. I wave bye and shut the door. As soon as I sit down on the couch I get a call from my brother.
X phone call start X
Jess: Hey, Jason what's up bro?
Jason: Hey, Jessie mom and dad want to have a family day this Saturday with Katelyn's family.
Jess: ok, we'll be there and I can't promise that Katelyn won't tackle or punch you this time.
Jason: She better not.
Jess: Like I said before I can't promise anything.
Jason: Right, anyway I gotta go see you Saturday sis.
Jess: See you Saturday bro.
Jason: Bye
Jess: Bye
X end phone call X
I'm so excited I text Kate and tell her about the family day. She tells me about ash's friend Riley and we decide to adopt her.
X time skip to Saturday X

~Ash's POV~
I wake up and get dressed then I wake up Riley cause our moms said that we're having a family day today. I'm excited cause we get to meet our grandparents and uncles. We're sitting here in our room I'm drawing while Riley's reading a book when we hear the doorbell ring. I hear some people come in and mom and Kat yell "Ash, Riley can you please come down here." We do as told and I see 7 people not including me, Riley, mom, and Kat. Kat walks up to us and says "Girls, these are your grandparents and my parents Madison and Noah. Those three knuckle heads are your uncles and my brothers Alex, Jake, and Mason." Then Jess walks up to us "And these are my parents Emma and Caleb and your uncle Jason." I quickly take notice that Jess and Jason look really similar. "Mom, are you and Jason twins with different hair colors?" I ask really curious I see their eyes widen "How, did you figure it out so quickly?" Jason asks shocked "It's simple really you two have the same eye color but Jess's is more of a caramel color while Jason's more of an amber color. Even though Jason has dirty blonde hair, while Jess has jet black I can see it in your eyes and body language. Plus you two never call each other older or younger so that leads to y'all being the same age also known as twins." When I finish I see everyone looking at me with jaws dropped. "What?" I ask confused "That's interestingly impressive that you got it right cause no one ever knew they were twins unless they told them." Emma replies I shrug and we all head out to the park and we play with Kat's brothers until it starts to get dark. Everyone else leaves but Jason cause he's staying with us for a few days and we all climb into the car and on the way home me and Riley fall asleep. I feel Jason pick me up bridal-style and I hear Kat pick up Riley and carry us to our room and puts us on our beds.
