Abi/Kevin - Day Number One
I woke up to feel movement in my bed, I gently put my hand out to the left to see what it was, then I realized I was patting my husbands stomach.
"Good morning to you too." He laughed a little. "Come here." He mumbled, and pulled me on top of him via my arm, "morning kiss." I smiled a little, deciding this is how I wanted to wake up from now on. "Get dressed and we can go get breakfast." He mumbled.
"Kev, I think that's what's room service is for."
"They have a good breakfast restaurant in this hotel, c'mon Bunny, I want to go and be your husband in front of people."
"Okay." I smiled at him, and got out of bed.
"Okay." He smiled, and did the same. I wrapped my arms around myself and walked over to my suitcase, I pulled out a sweater and leggings, for the plane ride.
Once both of us had changed, my husband scooped me into his arms and I wrapped my arms around his neck. I let my feet kick a bit, and kissed Kevins cheek.
"You're cute." He sighed, and grabbed his wallet, leaving the room.
We went down and had breakfast together, then packed up our hotel room, and took a cab down to the airport. We managed to get through airport security without killing a TSA worker, and eventually the two of us were sitting together at the gate.
"Abigail." Kevin groaned a little, "honeymoon equals no phone."
"I'm sorry," I said, quickly checking playbill. "I need to find out who's playing Clyde, I have a very strong preference." Suddenly I felt my phone slip out of my hands.
"Whoever is the Clyde to your Bonnie is going to be great, they'll choose someone amazing okay? And don't worry, if something's really important and time sensitive, someone'll call." Kevin lightly kissed my cheek, pocketing my cell phone.
"Thanks." I sighed and nestled my head into his neck.
"There ya go." He smiled, and rubbed my arm lightly. "There's my wife."
"Now boarding, flight 206 to LAX, all first class passengers and passengers with young children." A voice announced via the intercom.
"C'mon." Kevin took my hand and pulled me up, "you excited?" He asked, as he walked over to the gate.
"Mmhm." I smiled, and he handed his ticket to the attendant.
"Name." She requested, scanning the ticket.
"Kevin Miguel Alvarez." He said, and she smiled and handed him his ticket back.
"And you miss?" She asked, scanning mine.
"Abigail Luz Alvarez-Miranda." I bit my lip a little, then she smiled and handed the ticket back.
"Have a nice flight you two."
"Okay, so, long flight bunny." Kevin noted as we were walking to the plane, "I came prepared." He bragged. We stepped onto the plane, and found our two seats in First Class.
"Did you now?" I asked, watching him put our bags in the compartment over our heads.
"Mmhm," he smiled, finally finishing and closing the compartment. "Well, I don't know, but I brought some stuff for us." He shrugged and took the aisle seat next to me, giving me the window. "Okay, I brought a blanket, this is important." He pointed out, and pulled a gray blanket out and draped it over our laps, I rested my head on his shoulder as he pulled more from his bag. "Then, I raided the little store in the airport, and I bought you candy." He pulled out a bag of gumdrops and put it on my lap. "I also have my laptop and several movies." He planted a quick kiss on my head.
"Thank you sweetheart." I smiled, then I heard a flight attendant.
"Good morning, would either of you like some champagne?" She asked, and Kevin slipped his hand into mine.
"Sure." I smiled, and bit my lip, Kevin looked at me oddly then shrugged.
"I'll have some too." He smiled.
"Can I see some ID?" She asked, and I reached into my purse, retrieving the drivers license I got when Lin finally let me drive after I totaled the car. Kevin pulled his license out of his wallet and handed both to the attendant. "Okay," she smiled and handed them back, "for you sir," she gave my husband a flute of champagne, "and you as well Miss." she smiled and I handed me mine.
"Thank you." I smiled a little at her, and she walked away.
"Oh, so you're drinking?" Kevin asked, looking at me oddly.
"I guess." I sighed, "a little can't be that bad." I swirled the off white liquid a bit.
"It won't hurt you, but, if you don't want to, you don't have to." He added.
"You can have it." I sighed, handing it off.
"Thanks Bunny." I felt his lips gently graze my cheek, and he took the alcohol from my hand. He took a sip, and wrapped an arm around me, pulling my head to rest on his shoulder once again.
After about a half hour we were airborne, and allowed to move. I was happily sitting crosslegged in my seat, watching Kevin rummage around in his bag for the movies he brought. His laptop was on his tray in front of the two of us.
"Got it!" He smiled, pulling a blue disk holder out and handing it to me. "It's up to you."
"What did you pack?" I asked, giggling.
"Romantic movies because you like them, Rent because you're obsessed, comedies for after we watch Titanic and you bawl." He listed.
"Okay, Titanic then, I don't know, Kindergarten Cop." I shrugged seeing it in the folder.
"I knew you would choose Titanic." He laughed pushing it into the MacBook.
(Spoiler alert for Titanic... although... if you haven't seen this yet, it's sorta on you. It's an American classic with like... 12 year old Leo DiCaprio. It's on Netflix. Please watch it, you won't regret it.)
Three hours went by, and suddenly Rose had died and was back on the Titanic and was marrying Jack. I on the other hand was sobbing uncontrollably into my own husbands sweatshirt.
"She... she went back, and she's married to him, and they're young again, and she did all the things he wanted her to." I bawled as he gently stroked my hair, "She road horseback, not sidesaddle." I whined, and Kevin softly chuckled.
"Oh goodness why did I pack this." He sighed, rubbing my arm.
"Because you love me." I whimpered.
"That's right." He smiled and lifted my head to kiss me. "Okay, uh, can we watch Kindergarten Cop now?" He asked, in an effort to cheer me up.
"Mmhm." I smiled, still shaking a bit from my Titanic tears.
"Awesome." He switched the movies and pulled me back to him.

After our flight landed, we were standing in the LA heat outside LAX, holding our luggage. The hotel was sending us a limo, and all we could do was wait.
"Okay, so, what are we doing first?" Kevin asked, swinging my hand a little.
"I don't know." I shrugged, "I've only been once."
"I've never gone, so, you know a little more than I do." He shrugged. "What's your favorite ride?" He asked.
"Space Mountain." I smiled at the memory. I rode it for the first time with Lin, Vanessa stayed with Sebastian to pick out Star Wars toys in the nearby gift shop, as he was too small to ride.
"Alrighty." He kissed my temple, and a driver stepped out of a limo parked in one of the pickup zones.
"Limousine to Disneyland Hotel, Alvarez family!" He called out, Kevin smiled and pulled me over to the car.
"Kevin and Abigail Alvarez." He announced, proudly.
"Nice to meet you, my name's Samuel, welcome to Los Angeles." He smiled at the two of us and loaded our bags into the back, while Kevin and I got into the car.

We were finally at the hotel, checked in, when I was happily standing behind Kevin as he opened the door to our suite.
"Crap it's huge." He breathed, opening the door.
"Oh gosh." My eyes widened, "my apartment was smaller."
"Go look around Darling, I'll hide our bags in the closet." Kevin quickly kissed my cheek.
"Can you pull out shorts and a tank top, and like sandals for me?" I asked.
"Mmhm." He replied, and I wandered around the room.
"Kev, look at this bed." I squealed, "and the paintings of the princesses, and the view, and this table!"
"I'm coming." He softly chuckled, and I saw him walk in holding my clothes, I ran over to him and jumped up onto his waist, wrapping my legs around him and my arms around his neck. I continuously kissed his cheeks, and face. "Woah Bunny." He laughed, holding me.
"Thank you." I whispered.
"Of course, it's our honeymoon." He reassured me.
"You didn't need to do this." I admitted, "I didn't need first class tickets or limos, or huge suites, or Disneyland, Kevin, all you need for a honeymoon is a spouse." I rested my head on his shoulder.
"I want to give my spouse a lot of wonderful things though." He protested, "now, let's go to Disneyland!" He smiled, and spun around, me with him. "Get changed, I want to see what all the fuss is about."
"Okay." I hopped off of his waist, and quickly changed into jean shorts and a white flowing tank top with a bow in the back. I pulled on black sandals, then took my husbands hand.
"You are very very beautiful." He pointed out, kissing the top of my head.

Kev and I were in line for Space mountain, we had just gotten inside the building and he was freaking out.
"This is so cool, I can't believe I've never been here."
"That's the usual reaction." I nodded a bit, and he squeezed my hand. He kept going on and on about how happy he was, like an elated puppy, until we were climbing into our seats. I laughed at him a bit then put my purse into the little bag in front of us. The cars started moving forward and Kevin grasped my hand. "Kevie it hasn't even started yet."
"I know, I'm nervous." He admitted, laughing.
"Don't be." I kissed his cheek, and the lights around us started spinning and I got dizzy, until it felt like we shot out into space. I screamed a lot, happy to be here, and the man sitting next to me also screamed a lot, he may have been scared. Eventually the ride ended and we were getting up.
"That was amazing darling." He squealed a little, pulling me to his lips, "what next?"
"I don't know." I shrugged.
"Do you want to meet the Princesses?" He asked, swinging my arms a little.
"Okay." I smiled.
•••
After a full day at Disneyland, we had accumulated more crap than we needed, and more blisters, but we were happily eating dinner at Rainforest Café in Downtown Disney.
"I say," Kevin started, then took a bite of steak, "tomorrow, we really focus on shopping."
"I thought that's what we did today." I looked at him confused.
"Nope." He smiled, and took my hand in his own, gently rubbing it. "I don't know about you, but I'm exhausted, let's go back, and sleep." He waved our waiter over, and payed for our food. "C'mon Bunny." He kissed the back of my head.
We walked, hand in hand, back to our hotel, finally going into our suite.
"I'm gonna change, then pass out, okay?" I asked, and my husband laughed.
"Okay."
I dug around in my suitcase, and retrieved my nightgown. I slipped it on, it was white, and silk, and came down about halfway down my thigh. I made my way back to the bed, and Kevin was already under the blankets.
"Come here." He prompted, patting the right side of the bed.
"M'kay." I smiled, and slipped under the covers, then wrapped myself around him.
"Abigail?" He asked, gently rubbing my waist, "why'd you marry me?"
"Kev? I love you, that's why."
"But why, why me? Why not some insanely attractive, cool, rich dude?"
"Kev, you are very attractive, neither of us are cool, let's just abandon that for now, and well? I don't give a crap about how much money you have."
"Baby, I just find it hard to believe that you chose to marry me, do, are you, are you happy?"
"Of course. Kevin, I'm laying in bed with you, on our honeymoon, I took your last name, I accepted your proposal, I'm wearing your grandmothers wedding ring for gods sake, I am overwhelmed by how much I love you, Kevin Alvarez." I pressed my lips to his, my hands on either side of his face, "I love you, I adore you, you mean everything to me." I whispered against his skin.
"I love you." He whispered back, and I started to drift off to sleep. "How was day number one as Mrs. Alvarez?" He asked.
"Magical." I whispered, then fell asleep, inhaling his cologne.
