Lily

The whole ride home, I was listening to my music on my phone. I think Dan and Phil were trying to talk to me, but it didn't matter anyways. I think I started to doze off because soon, someone was shaking me.

"Lily, wake up!" Dan said while shaking me.

"Why?" I asked tiredly.

"We're home," he replied.

I shot up. "Really?!"

"Yeah."

I got out of the car and we went up to the apartment. Dan told me where everything was, but I ignored him since I saw his house tour video.

"The - wait, you're ignoring me aren't you?" Dan said, interrupting himself.

"Yep. I saw your house tour video," I replied.

He slaps himself. "I should've know you saw that."

"Dan, did you eat my cereal?" Phil shouts from the kitchen. Dan freezes. I start laughing like crazy. "DAN, WHY DID YOU EAT MY CEREAL?!" Phil yells.

"I was hungry, okay?" Dan replied.

"Whatever."

"By the way, Lily, your bedroom is what was the lounge," Dan said to me.

"Okay."

I drag my stuff up to my bedroom and drop it. I remembered my secret YouTube channel, LilyShipsPhan. I look it up and see that I have 17 subscribers, or as I call them, phanscribers. I sigh and put my phone on the charger. I crawl into bed, intending to take a nap.

I'm still mad at Dan for eating my cereal. Oh well.

I realized I haven't seen Lily in a while.

"Dan, where's Lily?"

"I think she's in her room."

"Oh, okay."

I wake up to someone shouting for me to come downstairs. I get up and go downstairs. Dan and Phil are eating pizza. I see the box of pizza, so I grab a slice and sit by Dan and Phil. I realized I walked in on them vlogging.

"So, guys, this is our adopted daughter, Lily!" Dan said.

"Say hi, Lily!" Phil said.

"Hi, everyone!" I said happily.

"So, yeah. Lily, do you have a YouTube channel?" Dan asked.

"I do! It's LilyShipsPhan! Please subscribe!" I replied.

"Phan? You ship Phan?" Phil asked.

"Yeah. Why?" I replied.

"To tell the truth, Phan is not real," Dan said.

"Oh." I buried my face in my hands. "Stupid me."

Dan rubs my back. "Hey, it's okay, Lily. Everyone makes mistakes."

"I'm going up to bed," I said bluntly before going up to my bedroom.

Minutes later, Dan came up to my room.

"Lily, are you okay?"

"I'm fine."

"Are you sure? You seemed really let down when I said Phan is not real."

"Yeah, I'm fine. It's just that I have always shipped it, and the mean girls at the orphanage bullied me for watching you two because they thought you two were romantically involved like I did."

"Oh. I didn't know that. Sorry, Lily."

"No, you shouldn't be sorry. I should be for not telling you I was bullied."

Dan pulled me into a hug.

"You know what? It's no one's fault!"

I smiled. "You're right."

He released me. "Now get some sleep. You need it."

"Okay, Dan."
