Emily's point of view

"Morning." I greeted Calum as I stretched. "What are you cooking?" I asked him and he looked at me.

"Bacon and eggs and toast." He said and I nodded. "Want some?" He asked me and I shrugged.

"Maybe some toast." I said and he nodded. "Do you have strawberry jam?" I asked and he nodded, telling me it's in the refrigerator as he handed me a plate of toast.

"Since we're like on the other side of the city from your old school, you're going to be going to a new school with Melissa." He said and I laughed.

"She's moving schools? Why?" I asked as I grabbed a butter knife. I set the jar down and began to spread it.

"They moved to the house like right next door because Lindsay's ex is a huge creep and the old school isn't close enough." He explained and I nodded.

"I see." I said and took a bite of my toast. "Are we doing anything today? I mean, I should be in school but I doubt you've gotten the enrolling done." I said and he nodded.

"Us three, plus Lindsay and Michael are going down to the school later on today. You'll be starting on Monday." He told me and I nodded.

"Sounds like a plan." I said and chuckled. "Your stylist is really cool and is really good at her job." I said and he laughed.

"I know." He said and laughed. "She was a family friend and yeah. She got you clothes that are perfect for you?" He asked.

"Yeah. Besides for a few dresses, I'd wear everything in that closet." I said and he nodded. "Oh, and the room is amazing. I love it."

"I thought you would. Ashton wanted to go for some kind of pattern and I told him to keep it simple. You seem like a simple girl." He told me.

"I am." I said and laughed. "When are we going down to the school?" I asked him because it was noon.

"It's a half day so we should be able to stop by around one. It's ten right now." He said and I nodded as he turned the stove off.

"You should go get dressed when you're finished." He said and I nodded. "Lindsay and Mel will be here at noon."

"Got it." I said and nodded. "Also, the iPhone and iPad and stuff, I don't really need all that." I told him and he laughed.

"Of course you do." He said and chuckled. "Don't worry about it though. It's fine." He said and I nodded.

I wiped my hands on my shorts and then took my dishes. I set them in the sink and he laughed as I quickly washed them. "We have a dish washer." He said.

"I prefer hand wash." I said and he nodded as I put the now clean dishes in the dishwasher to dry off.

"Go get dressed." He said and I nodded. I went back to my room and then closed the door.

I stripped down after I locked it and then opened my closet. I grabbed a cropped grey halter top and then a pair of black skinny jeans.

I put them on and then slid some socks on. I laced on some black and white vans and then stood up, running a brush through my hair. I turned a straightener on and then I tossed a grey beanie on my bed.

I quickly straightened my black hair and then ran a brush through it once again. I put some oil in my hair to make it shiny and then ran a comb through it.

"Emily! Lindsay and Melissa are here!" Calum shouted and I chuckled as I unplugged the purple straightener.

I wrapped the flannel around my waist and then out my beanie on, letting it slouch slightly. I slid my phone in my back pocket and then opened the door, going downstairs.

"I'm done." I said and then looked at Calum. "Thanks again Lindsay, these clothes are amazing." I said and she nodded while smiling.

"You don't have any make-up on?" She asked and I shook my head. "My, that just won't do." She said and stood up as Melissa rolled her eyes. "You are not done getting dressed, come on. You need at least a little on."

"Help?" I mouthed to Calum and he shook his head. I flipped him off and he laughed as Lindsay went on and on about mascara and lipstick and stuff.

"Let's go." Ashton said and I got out of the car with them all. "Behave." He said sternly as Melissa whined at me to hurry the fuck up, along with Michael.

I stepped out and then Ashton locked the car. "You look like a skater girl." Ashton said and I looked at him.

"He was a skater boy she said see you later boy," I yelled as he put some sunglasses on. Calum joined me in the yelling and I laughed.

"Be careful!" Lindsay said as I stumbled into someone. "This is why you don't yell Avril lyrics in public places, you'll get hurt and die."

"I'm so sorry." I said and looked behind me. "Oh look, a skater boy." I said as I noticed the skateboard beside him.

"It's fine." He said and smiled. "Just be careful next time." He told me and I nodded.

I ran up to Ashton since they were ahead of me and I heard some really good music playing. "I thought it was a half day?" I asked Calum and he shrugged.

"Oops." He said and I hummed along to the song. "I hear Kanye." He said and I nodded.

"Same." I said and followed Lindsay and Ashton to the front desk. Michael and Melissa stayed back, talking and laughing about something.

"I have a question." I said as I grabbed Ashton's arm. "Are M and M dating or something?" I said and they furrowed their eyebrows together. "Michael and Melissa."

"Oh, no, they're just really close." Calum said and Lindsay chuckled. "It's a bit complicated. We don't talk about it much. Try not to think about it." He told me and I nodded.

"Got it." I said and looked at a girl behind the desk. "Ruby, baby, when did you get a job?" I asked her and she looked up from her laptop.

"Emma, babe, what's u-oh shit, hanging with the ballers eh? They pick you up?" She asked and I laughed as I nodded. "How can I help?" She asked and Lindsay looked between us.

"You know each other?"

"I'm really close to her sister." I said and she nodded. "How is Kat by the way?" I asked Ruby.

"She's sad she had to move but she's managing." She said and I nodded. "Anyways, again, how can I be of assistance?"

"You can give me your number." Michael said and she looked at him. "You can help me because I seem to be missing your name and number in my phone."

"Don't flirt with her." Ashton said and pushed him away as Ruby laughed. "Anyways, we're here to enroll this girl, Melissa and that girl, Emily."

"Sorry, I don't go for band members with male appendages." She said and looked at us. "Melissa? What the hell?"

"Don't." I said and shook my head. Ruby looked at me briefly and then nodded before going to her computer.

"Don't what?"

"We aren't the best of friends." Ruby said simply to Calum. "So, you're well aware of the code of conduct and such? If not, we have various booklets that can be taken home and looked over."

"Just give us two so you don't get fired." I said and she nodded as she handed us some booklets.

"Who's parents are who's?" She asked and looked at us six. I pointed to Calum and Ashton and she nodded. "You two are her parents?"

"I am but he's here for other purposes." Lindsay said and she nodded. She entered it into the computer and then handed them packets.

"You know the drill, sign them and return them on Monday." Ruby told us and we nodded.

"Also, sorry Ems but you need to wear shirts that cover your stomach. No one wants to see that piercing or tattoo." She said and my eyes widened as Calum and Ashton looked at me immediately. "Oops, did they not know?"

"No." I grumbled and she smiled apologetically. "Thanks for outting it to the world." I told her as I pulled my jeans up.

She nodded and then looked at Calum and Ashton. "Listen um, Ruby, if you can, can you maybe tell her teachers or something to keep other students away from her when this whole things blows up? I don't feel comfortable with a bunch of people going up to her just so she can give us something or whatever."Ashton said and she nodded.

"I can do that." She said as she typed into the computer. "So, bring these packets back signed and be dressed appropriately for school. Our rules and the states rules are in bookets, the pink and yellow ones. Have a nice day." She said and I smiled.

"You too Ruby." I said and then followed Ashton and Calum out as Lindsay and Michael stayed back to talk to Ruby with Melissa.

"You have a belly button peircing?" Calum nearly shrieked after we left the building.

"And a tattoo?" Ashton practically yelled as we got towards the car. "Who the hell bought those for you? Who let you get them?" He asked me asked he unlocked the car.

"I know people." I said and Calum laughed. "I know some adults and stuff, they sign the paper because they're legal and I get it done. Simple."

"Better cut some of those ties because if you come home with another piercing or tattoo, I will flip shit." Ashton said and I got into the car.

"Hey at least I didn't get a tramp stamp." I said as the three got into the car. "I got a quote on my hip and a little something something on my back."

"You have two?" Ashton said and I nodded. "We are so having a talk when we get home. I can't believe a fourteen year old has more body art than I do."

"This fourteen year old is crazy, I thought you knew that by now." I said and buckled my seatbelt. "I also had a nose piercing. I lost the actual like piercing but the hole is still there." I said as Melissa got in with Michael.

"Maybe she's not so perfect after all." She said, mocking me because she claims that I call myself perfect.

"That's all your opinion love, you're only as perfect as you feel you are." I said and leaned back. "Anyways, it's not that big of a deal. Small tattoos and a few piercings, it's not like I completely ruined my body. I can cover them up with a shirt or something."

"You better." Ashton said and I rolled my eyes again. "Sorry but it's kind of weird for a fourteen year old to have tattoos and piercings."

"I agree." Michael said and I laughed.

"They were fun to get... after the pain subsided." I said and shrugged. "They'll always look nice aswell so it doesn't matter." I told them.

"It's there anything else we should know that you haven't told us?" Calum asked me and I hummed.

"She's slept with guys." Melissa coughed out and I glared at her.

"Liar." I said. "I've kissed two guys and I've been with one girl. I never slept with anyone... fully anyways." I told her and she laughed.

"That's funny because I found your phone and your shirt at my ex's house." Melissa said angrily.

"His sisters are like best friends you stupid bitch." I said and sat up. "Ever thought that maybe it was placed in his room because you're like the same size as I am? Or she's the same size as I am?"

"As if." She scoffed and crossed her arms. "You helped him cheat."

"I didn't go for it!"

"You did too!"

"You fu-"

"Enough." Michael said loudly, cutting us two off. "No fighting. Emily, sit the hell down. Melissa, shut up and talk about it some other time." Michael told us.

"Whatever." She said and leaned her head on Michael's shoulder. "Bitch."

"Melissa!" Lindsay said and I bit back a snicker. I leaned back against the seat and then sighed as Calum gave me a scolding look through the rear view mirror.

"Sorry." I huffed and he nodded. This isn't going very well for my first full day here.
