Chapter VI

Jimin POV

All of our alarms came off the next morning at the same time. I grunted as I got up slowly and, surprisingly, I was the first to get up. When I walked into the living room/dinning room, I smiled at the cute sight before me. Namjoon and Aidee had fallen asleep on the table, studying Korean. "How cute," I heard Hobi whisper from behind me. I turned and nodded with a smile, to see all of the guys awake. I reached forward and shook Aidee awake. She lifted up her head and opened her eyes. "Morning," she murmured sleepily. "Good morning!" We all exclaimed, waking Namjoon. "You have school, so go get ready," Jin said. She nodded, got up and went to her room to get clothes. "How's she doing?" I asked Namjoon. He yawned and smiled. "She's a fast learner. Appearantly, she understands more of what we're saying when we speak slower." We all nodded. "So now we gotta just speak slower? 'kay," said Kookie. I went to help Jin in the kitchen while Hobi and Tae bothered Suga, who was laying down on the couch. Kookie went inside his room, so did Namjoon. I then noticed something, and asked Jin, "Is it okay for us to walk shirtless with a female teenager in our care?" I looked down at myself and saw my abdomen muscles exposed, as well as the rest of my upper body.

"If she doesn't mind, I guess it's fine," Jin said. He too was shirtless, and his well-marked body was exposed as well. I shrugged my shoulders and continued to make the pancake mix. "Jin Oppa! Your turn!" Aidee exclaimed as she walked out of the bathroom in a pair of jeans and a white tank top. "Okay! Suga, come here and help Chim Chim," Jin instructed the lazy young male. He got up from the couch and started to help me. "Aidee, why aren't you wearing your uniform?" Asked Namjoon. She tried to answer in Korean, "It is videogame theme casual day and I'm looking for a mine Zelda hood. I can't find." I decided to but in, "Ask Jin. He has countless sweaters of Nintendo." Now I was flipping the pancakes on the pan. "Thank you Jimin Oppa," she said and heard her walk away.

After a few minutes, I was showered, and we all sat at the table, eating breakfast. "Isn't that sweater too big for you?" asked Tae to our dongsaeng. We all looked at her, her cheeks puffed with food. She gave us a shrug and kept eating. "She looks cute!" Hobi exclaimed, with Suga snapping a picture of her. "What classes do you take, Aidee?" Asked Jin. She swallowed her food, then answered, "Uh... I'm in the American exchange program, my morning classes are Korean-English. I has literature, Korean and Korean History. Then I has P.E. and Art Class, or Music Class and Dance class. Today I has Music class and Dance class." We all nodded. We were all done eating in a few minutes. "Who's doing the dishes?" Asked Namjoon. "We're not done dressing yet," I said. We were all shirtless or with white tank tops. "I can do dishes. You go dress," Aidee said, standing up and grabbing all of our plates. "You sure?" Asked Kookie. Aidee nodded with a smile, dumping the dishes in the sink. "Positive." We all thanked her and went to dress. I put on a white Gucci t-shirt and combed my dirty blonde hair, then grabbed my things. We weren't late for once as we all exited the apartment dorms and Jin hyung locked the door. I suddenly felt something on my hand, and saw that Aidee was shyly smiling up at me, her hand in mine.

We all walked to the elevator, and as the door was going to close, the nuns that live next door entered the elevator. "Good morning!" The eldest exclaimed. Two younger looking nuns were with her a well. We all answered back, with slight disinterest, except for Aidee, who started a small conversation with them. "Good morning, sisters. Off to church?" Aidee politely asked. The nuns smiled at her as we all chuckled. "Oh yes! Today we will help at the church. What about you? Are you going to school?" One of the younger ones said. Aidee nodded. The elevator door opened on the lobby floor, where the nuns got off. "Good bye, little one," said the other young woman. "God bless you," Aidee responded, waiving at them. They awed at her and said the same thing back, then the door closed. "You're very Catholic, right?" Tae asked. Aidee shook her head no. "I very... Respectful? Respectful," she said twice, checking if the word was right.

"You're very special, shortcake," Suga said. She smiled shyly. "Not many people are like that these days," Jin added. The door to the parking lot opened and we walked down the exit of it. It was way faster going this way than from the lobby, which is the other way around from where we're headed. "You're a good girl," added Jungkook. "She's great! She's the sunshine in my life! Right, sunshine?" Hobi asked with a big smile. "I suppose. I don't know how to respond to that in Korean," Aidee shrugged a bit. We all laughed at her nervous response and continued to walk down the sidewalk, Aidee still clinging to my hand. I smiled as a comfortable silence fell upon us, the only thing heard being Aidee humming Serendipity. "Let me love you," she sang out loud, smiling up at me. I ruffled her hair and laughed a bit.

Jin POV

I smiled as Aidee sang and Jimin laughed sympathetically. Up ahead, I could see a multitude of students heading the same direction. "Woah," whispered Tae at the sight. "Talk about robotic education," said Hobi with a chuckle.

"And all the people say
You can't wake up, this is not a dream
Your heart is a machine,
you are not a human being
With your face all made up
Losing all the steam
Low on self-esteem
So you run on gasoline~"

Aidee sang. We laughed and discussed how accurate the song was. In a few minutes, we made it to the school. Aidee led us to the office, where we went in to see a woman with blonde, short hair, sitting on a desk. "Hello, how my I help you?" She asked with a polite smile. "Hello. We've come because we adopted Aidee Cordelia. I reckon we have to sign things or something..." I said. She nodded and opened a drawer, taking out a creme colored record with Aidee's name on it. She opened it and read it through a bit. "Okay, all you need to do is to sign the record, with phone numbers and your home address, as well as work phone numbers and any specific instructions," the lady directed. I nodded and sat down at one of the seats, starting to sign and putting the other things. "Who's the father?" Reluctantly asked the lady. I chuckled, and heard the others do as well, and said, "We all adopted her. We're her brothers." The lady's face was full of embarrassment as she nodded. "Oldest to youngest," I said, signing the sheet. The others signed the sheet in order while I talked to Aidee. "We'll pick you up after school, Kay?" "... What?" Aidee asked with a confused look. I forgot she isn't that capable of speaking Korean. Before I could speak, however, Namjoon spoke instead. "He said that we'll walk you home when school is over." Aidee nodded and the woman thanked us as Jungkook finished signing. We exited the office and bid our farewells with Aidee.

"Don't forget what I taught you last night!" Exclaimed Namjoon, earning a nod from the brunette. "I won't," she responded with a smile. "Don't sleep in class," Yoongi said with a chuckle, kissing the top of her head. We chuckled and bid our last farewells as we watched her go up the stairs to her home room. "Oh right, I forgot!" I exclaimed, dragging Namjoon and Yoongi by the arms to the office. "Excuse me, I forgot to mention a very important detail," I said, earning the lady's attention. "Yes?" "You see, we're an idol group called BTS and there are going to be some days where Aidee won't be coming to school due to certain activities and reunions..." I trailed on. The woman raised an eyebrow at us before speaking. "Well, as long as she is responsible for her work, I guess it's okay." I nodded and was about to thank her when Namjoon asked if we could see her report card. The woman nodded and took out her folder, along with a few papers. "This last trimester's report cards were given last week." According to Aidee's folder profile that the orphanage provided us, Aidee has been seven months in Korea. Approximately since April, so she's only been at school since August.

"She doesn't have bad grades," Suga commented, looking at the paper. Namjoon chuckled. "She's basically Kookie. I mean, science and math aren't her favorites, so it seams," Namjoon said, showing me that she had an 84% in math and an 82% in science. The rest were 98 and 99. "She's a very talented student. Thank you for adopting her," the lady said. We smiled at her and soon we left the office. "Took you long enough, Hyungs!" V exclaimed. I raised a brow. "Jimin and Jungkookie ran off because Kookie was calling Jimin dumb and they started to chase each other!" Hobi exclaimed. I heard Yoongi and Namjoon sigh. I was going to suggest something, until a female voice interrupted me. "Oppas!" We turned to see Ji-soo with an annoyed expression, Jimin and Kookie with embarrassed looks on their faces. "What happened this time?" Namjoon asked, clearly annoyed. "I was in class when Jimin Oppa and Jungkook Oppa were running and yelling at each other. The teacher scolded them and told me to escort them to the exit," the ravennette said.

Jungkook POV

Yoongi crossed his arms and glared at Jimin and I. We were gonna get it later. "By the way, I meant to ask earlier," Ji-soo started, "What're you gonna do Aidee's birthday?" Oh right. She's gonna be 16 next week. "We haven't planned anything," Namjoon said. "Anything in mind, Ji-soo?" Hobi asked. She smirked and nodded. "I have to go back soon, so this'll be quick; she told me all she ever wanted for her birthday was an ice cream cake (I literally thought of Red Velvet when she said that) at the end of the school day. Since her birthday is the seventh, we have dance class at the end. I can talk to the teacher to let you guys in to celebrate, since the trainees are taking class with us." We all nodded. "What about presents? Did she ever tell you anything about that?" Ji-soo shook her head as an answer to my question. "I know what I'm getting her, but that's about it. You can ask her, but keep the cake as a surprise. I'm leaving now, or I'll get scolded. Bye, Oppas!" She waved with a closed eyed smile and left.

We turned to leave the school when Hobi and V literally shouted "I SCREAM YOU SCREAM!" Yoongi smacked them upside the head, then turned to Jimin and I. "You two," he started, pointing at us. "Phones," he demanded. nO. "Wait but Hyung-!" "Save it. Phones, now," Yoongi interrupted me. I took out my phone from my back pocket and gave it to him. "Jimin, the phone." Jimin hesitated, then finally gave it to Hyung. Yoongi turned both phones off and put them in his backpack. "You get those back tomorrow," he said. "He's scary sometimes, I swear to God," Taehyung whispered. We all nodded. "I raised you both better than this," Jin started. "My GoD hYuNg YoU dId NoT rAiSe mE!" I yelled, annoyed at him.

Aidee POV

"Alright class, I have news!" The music class teacher exclaimed. I sat at front, Ji-soo to my right, Su-min to my left, and the trainee boys behind me, with some other students. Apparently we all went to the same school, but I never noticed because all we did in this class was vocal exercises and copy notes. I paid attention as the American teacher, Mrs. Evans, talked. "Our school has been invited to participate in a concert! Each student will have to perform a song they'd like to share about their heritage, pride or just because they like it! Since there are alot of you, we'll have to present four performances with background dancers and costumes." Oh wow this is interesting. I'm thinking of participating, because I want to show everyone where I come from, but I'm really unsure about it. I'm really shy around people, and I get stage fright. What if I mess up? What if I forget the choreography? What if I forget the lyrics? My thoughts were interrupted by the teacher continuing to speak. "I guess two groups and two individuals will be okay. The rest will be assigned to either back up dancers or clothing designers, based on the elective you took this year. It's worth a grade, so be sure to put in plenty of effort! Now, let's choose the groups. Who wants to participate?" Ji-soo and Su-min looked at each other, then at me. I gulped. I looked around, and nobody had their hands up. It was just extremely quiet. "Teacher," I heard Jumin say, "Seung, Zen, Yoosung, Saeyoung, Saeran and I want to participate as a group." The teacher nodded and wrote it down on the board. "Hey Aidee, wanna go with Su-min and I? Please!" Ji-soo pleaded, whispering. "Or are you going solo?" Su-min asked. I gulped. I didn't know what to choose. I want to participate, but I'm terrified.

"Mrs. Cordelia, you can participate solo and in group. Apparently nobody wants to go. What do you say?" Mrs. Evans asked. I gulped and decided to go with my gut, so I nodded. Su-min also wanted to go solo, and apparently it was okay for her too. She wrote our names on the board, then instructed us to get together to choose the songs while she went to talk to the dance teacher. "Okay so what are we dancing to?" Su-min asked. I shrugged, then looked at Ji-soo. "I dunno. What do you mostly listen to, other than BTS?" She asked. "Big Bang, Red Velvet, Gfriend, Black Pink, EXID-" "We can dance to Up & Down by EXID!" Ji-soo exclaimed. "I'm up to it. How bout you, Aidee?" I smiled a bit and nodded at the curly haired girl's remark. Then I got and idea. "If we participate twice, we can dance Whistle by BlacKPink." I swear I saw their eyes sparkle. They both nodded abruptly. A voice caught my attention from Ji-soo and Su-min's fangirling. I turned to see Saeran calling me and motioning me towards their circle in the corner of the room.

I stood from my seat and walked towards them. "Hey," I said, greeting them. "Aidee, pick between Got7 and BTS" said Zen. "I dunno who is Got7, so I'll choose BTS." I heard Zen, Yoosung and Saeyoung gasp and hold their hearts. "Uh, okay... Pick: I Need U or Boy in Luv?" Saeran said. "I've only seen you dance to I Need U, so I can't really pick there..." I answered, furrowing my brow. "We'll show you!" Yoosung exclaimed. All of them stood up and moved the chairs a bit to the back. Some students helped and did the same, even Ji-soo and Su-min, even though they had no idea of what was going on. They connected a phone to the speaker and the music blared through the stereo. They soon began to dance.

"Doegopa neoui oppa

Neoui sarangi nan neomu gopa

Doegopa neoui oppa

Neol gatgo mal geoya dugo bwa

Wae nae mameul heundeuneun geonde

Wae nae mameul heundeuneun geonde

Wae nae mameul heundeuneun geonde

Heundeuneun geonde Heundeuneun geonde"

Oh my God they are so freaking good! They've got their work cut out for them. If this were a competition, they'd totally win. "Woohoo! Let's go next, girls!" Ji-soo squealed in excited. "Sure," I responded with a small smile. Here we go...
