(A/N I will change POV's when I see it fits also ash grew up in a military base in woods with military training cause her parents were both in the military and she wanted to be just like them. Also it gets a little steamy further into the chapter but nothing to sexual.)

*Ash's POV*
~dream/flashback 10 years ago start~
I awoke with a start to the sound of machine gunfire and screams of pain. I realize that we're in the middle of an ambush I got off my bed quickly and put on my boots, vest, and helmet when I finish I run out of the room grabbing my gun on the way. I run to cover and start killing off the bad guys one by one until my gun runs out of ammo I then run around trying not to get shot. Jumping over corpses while avoiding trees, friendly fire and enemy fire. I see my dad get shot through the heart and my mom get shot in the stomach. I run to her side crying knowing that she's dying she gives me a knife and says with her last few breaths "always keep this with you in memory of us and our bravery" and with that her eyes glaze over and I say "Mommy please don't die I need you I'm only 6 please" I start to cry harder as our Sargent picks me up and carries me away to the escape chopper. While looking at the knife I noticed that my parents engraved the nicknames they called me one on each side of the blade near where the blade and handle are joined together. I continue to cry then I scream.
~dream/flashback ends~
I awake with a start while crying and screaming at the top of my lungs to find Lucas pinning me to the bed. Our parents and siblings soon come rushing into the room and over to my bedside and our parents have looks of panic on their faces. Lucas gets off me and mom sits down on the bed and cuddles up with me. "Shhhh...shhh there there it's ok it's ok you're safe now you're safe." She says in a comforting tone as I cry into her shoulder. Lucas goes and sits on his bed with a sad look cause he knows that I just had a flashback. Dad takes our siblings back to their room then heads to his own. I just stay there crying my eyes out soaking moms shirt while she pets my head. Soon I cry myself back to a dreamless sleep.

~Lucas's POV~
I awake to see ash thrashing around in her bed while crying. I quickly figure out that she's have a flashback I get up and go pin her down so she doesn't hurt herself like she did one time. I feel bad for her cause she literally saw her parents die and has these nightmare flashbacks about it. It actually breaks my heart to see her breaking down like this.

~Jess's POV~
Me and Jason awake with a start as we hear ash screaming at the top of her lungs. We quickly get up and head to their room to see Lucas pinning ash to her bed with a tear stained face. I rush over and Lucas gets off ash and I sit on her bed and pull her into a hug she cuddles up with me still crying. I start speaking softly to her to calm her down. It almost physically breaks my heart to see her breaking down like this. I see Lucas go and sit on his bed staring at ash with a sad look on his face. I think that nightmare was about her parents judging by the look on Lucas's face after about 10 minutes she cries herself back to sleep. I set her down gently and cover her up and give her favorite stuffed animal to her. I kiss her forehead again and head back to my room upset that I don't know what's wrong with ash and crawl into bed. I'm face to face with Jason he try's to cuddle with me but I push him away. He has this look of hurt in his eyes so I roll over and go to sleep. Surprisingly he doesn't try to cuddle with me again I think he knows that I'm upset about ash's nightmare I just want to make her feel loved.
*time skip to morning still Jess's POV*
I wake up and stretch I walk to my closet and start to put together a outfit for the day. Jason comes up and hugs me from behind and whispers in my ear seductevly "Wanna join me for a shower?" I turn around still in his arms to see a smirk plastered on his face. I smile and flirtatiously say "I would love too." His smirk turns into a smile and takes my hand in his and leads me to the bathroom and locks the door. I turn on the shower and we undress and hop in. About 2 minutes in he pins me to the wall and kisses me on the lips for a minute and then starts kiss, lick and nip at my neck. One time he bit my neck a little too hard and I squealed he apologizes quickly and kisses the sore area. After we have a little make out session in the shower. We actually bathe and wash ourselves.(A/N nothing more than kissing happened) We get out after a little while and get dressed. I put some makeup on the bite mark to hide it and finished getting ready me and Jason walk downstairs hand in hand smiling.

*Ash's POV*
I wake up and go tell mom what happened last night cause I could tell that she was really worried about me. I peek my head around the door frame and see mom looking through her closet. Then dad hugs her from behind and whispers something in her ear. He smirks as she turns around in his arms and smiles saying something I couldn't hear. Then he takes her hand and they both head into the bathroom smiling when the door shuts I hear a locking sound. I slowly walk away not wanting to disturb their magical moment together. Something tells me that the showers not the only thing that's going to be steaming. I walk downstairs to fix breakfast for the six of us. Shortly after I start cooking eggs and bacon Lucas, Julia, and Joseph file down the stairs. After about 15 minutes mom and dad come down the stairs hand in hand smiling like idiots. I notice a small bite mark on moms neck. I smirk so that's why mom and dad locked their bathroom door. They sit down with us and eat after we all finished dad had to leave for work and mom had to record in an hour. Julia, Joseph, and Lucas head up to the game room which is in between mom and dad's room and mine and Lucas's room. Mom goes and sits down on the couch and starts to watch tv since the couch was close to the stairs I couldn't help myself. As I walk behind the couch I stop, smirk and whisper in her ear. "Did you and dad have fun in the shower earlier?" After I said that I bolt to the top of the stairs I look back to see her looking at me with wide eyes and crimson cheeks. I continue to smirk and walk into the game room to play pool with Lucas while the younger ones play with dinosaurs and Lego's. When I walk in he sees my smirk and walks up to me and asks. "Why are you smirking?" I get close to his ear and whisper "Mom and dad had a make out session in the shower this morning. I saw them both go inside together and I think dad nipped her a little too hard cause now mom has a small bite mark on her neck. It's not very noticeable but I think she used makeup on it." He backs up a little bit but whispers "You're kidding me." "No. I'm not I went to tell mom about my flashback and saw them go into the bathroom together smiling. And when I whispered in her ear about it she blushed a crimson red." He looks shocked "let's record an update vlog now" I nod and record a small vlog saying that we won't record for a little while. Then we play pool and air hockey for 2 hours then had lunch and went to play one more game it's about one o'clock when mom came up and said "Ok guys today we're meeting Adam, Alesa, their son Mason and their adopted daughter Misty at the park." Me, Lucas and the younger ones head to our rooms. I put on shorts a tank top, a black belt, my combat boots, my gloves, my knife and holder which I normally hide under my pants and a ball cap. Once we're all ready we head to the car little did mom know we brought our water guns and balloons. I sat upfront with mom while Lucas, Julia, and Joseph sat in the back. When we got there me and Lucas helped Julia and Joseph out of their car seats. Then we meet Adam, Alesa, Mason then a 16yr. old girl with blueish silverish hair and blue green eyes walks up to us and says "Hi, I'm misty" "I'm ash" "a-a-and I-I-I'm l-Lucas" I look at him and see he's blushing I look back at misty to see that she's blushing too. I clear my throat and they look at me I semi yell "race ya to the playground" and bolt of to the playground. I look behind me for a brief moment to see them chasing after me. When we reach the playground I parkour my way up to the very top which is about three stories tall. I see misty and Lucas jump and land beside me misty lands on my right and Lucas on my left. Then I see mom and Misty's parents coming towards us with mad looks on their faces Oh, no we're in trouble. They tell us to get down when I get ready to jump I lose my footing and I feel myself falling.
