SAM POV 

Now, I had to deal with Diana. I couldn't believe he was blaming himself he couldn't have prevented this. I made a mental note to talk with him daily or every other day about this and if he got even a bit worse to get him set with a psychologist too. I stepped into Diana's and Nick's room. Diana was laying on the bed. I went over to her.  She was sleeping I put the covers on her and went down leaving both of them alone they needed some space and I didn't blame them. 

That was something that shouldn't have happened and it was very traumatic for two 8-year-olds to deal with. I knew they were gonna make it, but it would take some time and a lot of patience and understanding as well. 

I went downstairs and turned the tv on to watch something but I just fell asleep. I woke up to Diana crying. I quickly went upstairs she was there on the bed crying. 

"Dad it hurts." She said. 

"What hurts?" I asked sitting on the bed. 

"Where he removed the stitches." She said. I knew he wouldn't have done anything wrong but I decided to check. 

"Can I see it?" I asked. She nodded. I lifted her shirt a bit there were no signs of infection or anything that should hurt. Suddenly it hit me. 

"Dia, did you sleep on it?" I asked. She nodded. 

"That's the reason it hurts it'll be alright in like an hour," I said. 

"Okay." She said. Suddenly, Nick came into the room. 

"Dia are you okay?" He asked. 

"Yeah and I'm sorry Nick come here." She said. Nick walked over to the bed and sat on it. She hugged him and he hugged back. They made up so fast. 

"I'm sorry too," Nick said. 

"Accepted. Now no worries. " She said. 

"Yeah, okay," Nick said. 

"Now should we watch movies?" I asked. Both of them nodded and we went downstairs. The tv was already on so I put on a movie they both liked. I don't know when but I passed out and woke up to them both shaking me at the same time.  I woke up with a bad headache and I felt cold. I did not want to be sick. 

"Dad, wake up," Diana said. 

"I'm up to can one of you get my phone?" I said.

"Sure," Nick said and got it for me. I checked the time and messages and kept them down again.

"So are we hungry?" I asked.

"Yeah." They both said.

"Alright, I'm gonna order some pizza." 

"Thank you, dad." They said. I ordered it and in a few minutes, it was there. We all had it and then all of us were just doing our own thing till it was time to sleep.
