*Dark POV*

I went in Y/N's room to check on him/her. He/she was sleeping peacefully. I leaned on the door-frame. 

'Poor Y/N', I thought, 'He/She is probably scared to death of Wilford'

I quietly started to shut the door before Y/N whispered "Mr. Dark?"

I looked at him/her "Go back to sleep kid, I was just checking on you" 

"Can you come here so I can ask you something?" he/she asked

I walked in and knelt by his/her bed and brushed his/her hair back "What's up?"

"I...I'm scared of Mr. Warfstache" Y/N said quietly

I smiled sadly "I think we all are a little bit. It's normal, he doesn't seem very nice in the first place"

"Why can't he be nice?" Y/N asked

"That's a good question...one I don't have an answer to" I told him/her

Y/N looked at me confused "Everyone has to have some good in them. You have lots of good in you"

I smiled "Thanks kiddo"

Y/N hugged me tightly. I hugged him/her back and whispered "It's only because of you that I have good in me"

"You're welcome Mr. Dark" he/she giggled

Y/N laid back down and I tucked him/her back in

"Go back to sleep now. You need rest" I whispered gently kissing his/her forehead

"Goodnight Mr. Dark" Y/N replied sleepily and closing his/her eyes

I closed the door and walked back out to the front room. Anti and Warfstache were yelling at each other. Big surprise there

*Anti POV*

That bastard. Claiming he's more able to raise a child than all 3 of us- 4 if you count Google...which he didn't- put together

"Oh and who's the only one here Y/N's afraid of?" I challenged angry

"So? You convinced him/her I was scary" Warfstache said

"What are you two fighting about now?" Dark entered the room

"He claims he's more capable of raising a kid!" I pointed at Warfstache

Dark glared at him "Look Wilford. I rescued Y/N from a murderer. I don't think he/she would like to live with one anytime soon. So quit pretending that you could raise a child. You killed an entire family, so who in their right mind would trust you with a kid?"

Dark left after that. Warfstache was glaring at me, and I flipped him off.

"Anti you'll be sorry one day. One day Y/N is gonna grow up and realize he/she has been living with demons his/her entire life. He/she will want to be with humans instead of demons, and when that day comes, I will be waiting to take him/her with me" Warfstache said

"Do I really give a fuck? Right now, Y/N is a child. That day won't come for another 10 years at least. Leave him/her alone" I growled

Warfstache had an evil smirk on his face "Oh just you wait"

*Dark POV (dream)*

I walked out into the front room to Y/N crying

"Y/N? What's wrong?" I asked walking towards him/her. Y/N cried loudly and ran away from me scared

"Y/N? Why are you scared of me?" I asked confused

"Who wouldn't be, Dark?" Wilford's cold voice came from around the corner. Y/N hid behind his leg

"Y/N what are you doing!? He's dangerous!" I said trying to pull Y/N away

"NO DARK STOP IT!" Y/N yelled and clung tightly to Wilford

I froze "Why'd you call me Dark?"

"See, Y/N did love you...until he/she found out you're a demon" Wilford smiled and pat Y/N on the head "So naturally he/she came running to me, the only one who's not a demon or a robot in this house"

"Mr. Wilford's nice" Y/N said through tears. He/she looked at me with a look of hatred "At least he's not a monster"

I felt like I couldn't breathe "B-But Y/N..."

"Y/N we better be going" Wilford looked at his watch "Say 'bye-bye' to Dark now"

Y/N turned to me. I couldn't believe this was happening

"MR. DARK WAKE UP!"  a voice yelled

I sat straight up in bed in a cold sweat. I panted heavily and looked around

"Just a dream...Just a dream..." I whispered to myself in panic mode still

"Mr. Dark? Are you ok?" Y/N's voice came from to my left. I looked to see him/her with wide eyes and his/her blanket held to his/her face

"Yeah...yeah kid I'm fine" I said trying to calm my breathing

"Did you have a nightmare about Mr. Warfstache? You kept mumbling something about him" Y/N asked

I hugged Y/N "Promise me you'll never leave me"

"Mr. Dark why would I leave you?" Y/N hugged me back "You're nice"

I felt tears in my eyes and wiped them away "Okay...Okay..."

"Did you have a nightmare that he took me away?" Y/N asked

I smirked "You're a smart kid"

"Mr. Dark I don't like Mr. Warfstache. Don't worry about him" Y/N said

I nodded "Y/N could you stay by me?"

He/She tilted his/her head "Do you want someone to protect you from the nightmares?"

I chuckled "Yeah"

Y/N snuggled next to me as I slowly started to fall back asleep

(A/N: So this was a little different but I was thinking that Dark hasn't had a huge part in the past couple chapters so I gave him some spotlight. Hope you enjoyed!)
