Jordan's point of view

I sat on the side of the pool with Shaun and Taylor, hamburgers and hot dogs in our hands. Christian had gone up to shower since he has spilt lemonade all over himself and there was no trace of James or Timothy.

"James isn't here." I said and Shaun gave me a smile. "Neither is Timothy." I sighed and a bite of my hamburger, a bit upset they didn't show even though I knew they wouldn't have come.

"No, actually, James just walked in." Shaun said and I stood up immediately. I saw the familiar boy and I ran over to him. I tackled him in a hug and he laughed.

"James!"

"Jordan!"

"Taylor!" Taylor shouted and we all laughed. We pulled away and I gasped as I looked at his hair. It was purple.

"Oh my god its purple." I said and ran my hands through his hair. "It's so pretty, it's like a unicorn."

"A you porn? What?"

"Shut up Taylor." Shaun joked and we laughed. "Is Timothy coming?" He asked James and he nodded. "Really?"

"Yeah, um, I convinced him to come. I told him I'd buy him a new video game if he did. Besides his girl ended up having to do something so he was free." James told us with a smile.

"That's bribing." I said and his smile faded. "If he didn't want to come, he didn't have to. I don't him to do anything he doesn't want to do." I sighed.

"Jordan, I think Chelsea actually got you that refrigerator you wanted. Look at that." Christian said and I walked into the living room.

There was this big, and I mean really big box behind all of the other ones and I laughed. "I was kidding. I didn't want a refrigerator, well, not at full sized one." I said and laughed.

"It's moving?"

"No you doofus, it's the wind from the fan." I said and pointed to the fan. Shaun 'oh'ed and I laughed. "God, I'm friends with popsicle sticks." I said and they busted into hysterics.

"Popsicle sticks? What the actual fuck?" James asked and I just laughed as I shrugged. "Ooh! Bon Jovi!" He said as a song played. He hesitated and then grabbed Christian's arm before taking him outside to dance.

"Want to dance with us?" Taylor asked and I shrugged. They spun me around too the song 'Bad Medicine' by Bon Jovi and I sang along, laughing and smiling.

The adults laughed at us and I just smiled. James and Taylor's parents had came, along with Peter and a few of his friends. There wasn't a lot of people, but that was perfect with me. I was having fun and I was loving every second of it.

"I don't know this song but it's so catchy." Shaun said and I laughed. I danced around some more with them and then the song changed to another Bon Jovi track.

"This is literally Timothy's song, where is that little blonde nugget?" Taylor asked and Shaun said he wasn't here yet. "It's almost time for presents, how is he not here yet?" He asked and we shrugged.

Me and Taylor sang along, and Shaun just laughed, clapping along to the song and dancing with us. The music stopped, and I whined. "My song."

"Would you rather finish the song or open pre-"

"Presents!" I cheered like a little kid on Christmas and everyone laughed. I walked to the couch with the two boys I was dancing with and Chelsea walked over.

"First, I need you to close your eyes and count to fourteen since your fourteen." Chelsea told me and I nodded. I coveted my eyes and counted fourteen seconds, hearing gasps and snickers.

"Here is your first gift." I felt something being placed on my lap and I looked down at it. "It's from James and his parents." Chelsea told me and they smiled at me.

I opened the box and looked at it. "Oh my god, red hair dye. How did you know I wanted to dye my hair red next?" I asked excitedly and James laughed.

"Chris told me one day." He said and I got up. I gave them all a hug and thanked them. "I'll help you dye your hair, just tell me when." I nodded and thanked them, setting the boxes down beside me.

"This is from Taylor and his parents." Chelsea said and handed me one big box, and one smaller one. "God, what did you get her, bricks?"

"Yeah, she needs something to throw at people who make her mad." Taylor laughed out and everyone laughed. "Open it, I know you'll love it."

I nodded and then opened the bigger box. My eyes literally teared as I saw it. "These cost so much money," I told him as I pulled out a box. "A Vynl player?" I asked him and he smiled.

"Open the other one, there's not just one." I nodded and set it aside to open the other box. I uncovered it and then pulled out a bunch of Vynl records. "Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, 5 Seconds of Summer, All Time Low, they're all there plus more."

I set them all aside and ran up to Taylor. I gave him a huge hug and he chuckled. I let go of him and then hugged his parents. "He was telling us about how you walked into a record shop and said you wanted a Vynl and such. A couple hundred dollars isn't anything compared to what you did for us." His mother said.

"Thank you so much." I told them and they nodded. Chelsea told me I had more so I pulled away and went to go sit down.

"This is from Christian and I." She handed me an envelope and I looked at it. I opened it an inside were actual tickets to an upcoming All Time Low concert. "Backstage passes aswell."

"Oh my god, thank you." I said and gave the two hugs. They told me it wasn't a big deal and that there were two tickets and passes. "I finally get to aee my idols live."

"You still haven't opened mine." Shun said and he smiled. He handed me a back and I thanked him as I took it. "I got you a blue bag because I know pink isn't your thing."

"So thoughtful." I said and he nodded. I opened the bag and then pulled out the card at top.

'Happy 14th birthday you little smurf. Love you. xx'

I laughed and then opened the bag some more. I pulled out a black leather jacket and then a gift card to Hot Topic. "I have a few hundred in there."

"It's so nice." I said as I looked at it. He told me to try it on and I did. I put it on and it fit perfectly. I went up to him and gave him a hug. "Thank you."

"You're welcome." He said and chuckled. "I was gonna get you something besides clothes but I know how much you love leather jackets." He told me and I nodded.

"Let's put the garbage away and then I'll bring out the presents the guys left you." Chelsea said.

"No, wait, I brought her something too." Peter spoke up and I looked at him. "It's nothing much." He told me as he handed me a small box. I took it from it and then opened it.

"It's a bunch of laser beams with different colors, do you know how entertaining these things are? Nothing much? You're a liar." I said and he laughed. I gave him a hug and he hugged me back. "Thank you."

"You're welcome." He said and I let go. Chelsea picked up the wrappers and then she sat me down.

"Stay here and close your eyes." She told me and I sighed. I closed my eyes and then I heard footsteps on the hardwood floor.

"Happy birthday sweetheart." A deep voice said and I opened my eyes. I looked up and saw familiar hazel eyes. "I missed you."

"Dad!" I said and stood up. I have him a hug and then I heard whines. "The guys are here too?" I asked and he nodded. "I missed you so much."

"We have presents!" Michael yelled and U laughed. "Sit down and open mine first because it's the best." He said and I laughed. Ashton sat down and then pulled me in to his lap.

"Looks like your birthday wish came true J," Taylor said and I smiled as Ashton kissed my head. Michael handed me a present and I took it from him.

I unwrapped it and then noticed it was a bunch of video games. "Yes, I get to kill zombies." I said and he laughed. "Thank you Michael." He nodded and then Luke handed me another wrapped gift.

"I think you'll like it." He said and I chuckled. I opened it and then noticed it was just an did bunch of eyebrow piercings and lip rings. "If you ever wanna change it up ya know? Summer's coming and that means you get to wear your piercings all the time now."

"This is amazing, thank you Luke." I said and Calum pointed to a huge box. "Oh, I have to get up, thanks." I said and then laughed.

I got on my knees and ripped open the box. "Oh my god!" I yelled and wrapped my arms around it. "It's bigger than I am!" I said as I hugged the really big teddy bear. "It's so soft too, I'm in love."

"Get up off the floor, it's dirty." Ashton said and I laughed. "I have presents for you too." Ashton said and I laughed.

"You guys didn't have to, flying down here was enough." I told him as I continued to snuggle up to the teddy bear. "Besides this bear, my life revolves around this bear now."

"Well, I got you this notebook that was signed by the Madden brothers, John Feldman, Kellin Quinn, All Time Low, Mark Hoppus, Halsey, Jenna McDougal, and Chrissy Contanza." He said and I looked at him. "And they all wrote a note for you."

"Bu-"

"We know people and those people know people." He said and held up a notebook. I stood up and then he handed it to me. I flipped through it and there was a note at the end.

'Happy 14th birthday princess, I love you and these guys and girls cannot wait to meet you.'

"This is so amazing, thank you Ashton." I said and wrapped my arms around his neck. He chuckled and told me it was nothing. "I love you."

"I love you too." He said and I smiled. "How about some cake people? I heard Jordan, Christian, and Chelsea baked it." He told them and Taylor spoke up.

"What's that long present over there?"

"That was where we were hiding because we wanted to be a bunch of ninjas." Calum said and I rolled my eyes. "It was hard to breathe but it was worth it."

"Michael farted in there that's why."

"No I did not, it was you Luke. Shut up you lying noodle boy." Michael said and I laughed with Chelsea. "You're just embarrassed."

"You couldn't have gone in your room or the garage or something?" Shaun questioned and Calum laughed.

"You see son, there is no fun in just sitting in a room. You don't get to feel like a ninja and you don't get to listen in on the conversation your daughter is having with a boy." He said.

"But suffocating to death in a box because someone ripped one is fun?" Shaun questioned and everyone laughed, including me. I laughed the hardest. "Well, I wouldn't want to do anything fun with you guys now."

"Ooh, Calum got sassed out by this little British boy." Michael laughed out.

"This little British boy has a name and it is Shaun." He said and I smiled. Sassy Shaun is the best Shaun.

"And he strikes again, Shaun is on fire." Taylor spoke up and I shook my head amused.

"What can I say? I was born hot and overtime I just couldn't control it." He said and I laughed. "Jordan, let's do the candles now before we end up forgetting."

"Sir yes sir." I said and got out of Ashton's lap. I ran over to Shaun and smiled at him. "Shaun and 'sir' both start with an 'S', how cool is that."

"You're a dork."

"I know." I said and he took a seat beside me at the table as the rest of the people came. Ashton lit the candles and there was only one thing I wanted as I blew them out when they finished singing.

I wish Timothy was here.
