Chapter 50

Jordan's point of view

"Happy birthday!" Someone yelled at me and I pushed them away. "Come on sweetheart, you need to get up and you need to get dressed. I made your favorite breakfast and I don't want it to get cold."

"Waffles and bacon?"

"Yes Jordan, now go get dressed and then come and eat." She told me and I nodded. I yawned and then sat up, half asleep as I stayed in bed for about ten minutes.

I got out of my bed, almost falling on my face, and then went to the bathroom. I did my business and then went to my closet. I grabbed the tank-top Timothy had gave me on our date, a pair of destroyed black skinny jeans, a red flannel, and then my all black converse.

I changed into the outfit and then brushed my hair out. I put in my piercings and then some contacts. I smiled brightly and then put on my choker necklace. I made my way downstairs and then Christian smiled at me.

"Happy fourteenth birthday babe." He said and I thanked him. I took a seat by him and he chuckled. "I haven't seen these in quite awhile." He told me as his finger brushed against my lip ring.

"Can't wear them at school, that's why." I told him and he nodded. "Anyways, I'm fourteen now! I'm just like you!" I said and he laughed.

"Yeah you are J," he said and smiled. "You're so old now," he told me and scrunched his face up. I gasped and hit his shoulder, causing him to just laugh.

"You can't talk because you're older than I am." I told him and he rolled his eyes. "Thank you Chelsea." I said as she put a plate of waffles and bacon in front of me. She nodded and then set a glass of apple juice in front of me.

"Guests will be here at noon... it's seven right now." Chelsea told me and I nodded. "I bought two different cake mixes and a lot of icing and decorating things. So hurry up and eat so we can make them before people start coming." She told me and I nodded.

When I finished my breakfast, I washed my dishes and then Chelsea had me mix a red velvet flavored cake. She had bought red velvet and vanilla and I was glad. The two flavors were my favorite.

"Mix this for me Chris, I have to go do something." She said and handed Chris the batter. He took it gratefully and then looked at me. "Don't put it in the tray yet though, I'll do that part."

"Why would you want to make your own cakes?" He asked me and I shrugged. "You should have just bought one that's already made and all pretty and shit."

"Where's the fun in that?" I asked, eating some of the frosting Chelsea had bought. "Besides, I love baking." I said and then grabbed the circle pan that was already sprayed with baking spray.

"You are a really, really strange girl." He told me and I smiled with a nod. I poured the batter in it and then the doorbell rang. "Its not even close to noon, what the hell?"

"Go answer the door." I told him as I opened the oven and put the cake in there. He nodded and I took the batter from him. I began to mix it and then I heard a familiar voice.

"Is Jordan here or have you gone and got her out of the house to set the stuff up?"

"Shaun!" I said and set the batter down. I went to the front door and he smiled at me. "I'm glad your here, oh my god." I said and we shared a hug.

"Happy birthday." He said and rubbed my back. "I have a thing, where can I put it?" He asked and Christian laughed. "Not like that you nitwit." Shaun said with a chuckle.

"Um, I don't know. Chelsea is being strict on the whole arrangement thing. I believe in front of the television will be okay for now." I said and he nodded, taking the large bag.

"Are your parents are here British boy?"

"They had business to attend to, but they'll be here to pick me up at ten." He said and we nodded. "Anyways, what are you guys doing now? I know I'm early but this was the latest I could be seeing as my parents went straight to work after dropping me off."

"We're baking the cakes. Come." I said and grabbed his hand. I took him to the kitchen and he looked around. "I wanted to bake the cakes instead of buy them premade."

"Weird."

"That's what I said." Christian said and laughed. "Anyways, I love how you and Jordan are dressed like the exact same way." He said and then pulled his phone out. "I need to put this on twitter."

"What's a Twitter?"

"Oh my-"

"You don't know what a twitter is?" I asked Shaun and he shook his head. "It's like Facebook, except better. A million times better." I said and he nodded. We posed for the picture and then Chelsea walked in.

"Oh, hello, you're quite early. Nothing is quite done." Chelsea said as she stepped in. "I've got the cakes kids. How about you go set up the backyard. Put cd's into the stereo, put the cups and stuff down for later, the table covere, all of that ya know?"

"We've got this. Jordan, sit down and relax. It's your birthday, you shouldn't have to work." Christian said and I pouted. "Go skateboard or something." He told me and I sighed.

"Fine. I'll be out front." I told him and he nodded. I went up to my room, humming a Fall Out Boy song as I did, and then grabbed my skateboard.

I told Chelsea and she just told me to be careful and if I feel like I'm being watched to come in right away. "I know." I said and she smiled. I went outside and then put m skateboard on the floor, rolling around the fountain that was in the front of the house.

"I cried tears you'll never see," I sang quietly, the song stuck in my head. "So fuck you, you can go cry me an ocean, and leave me be." I hummed and stopped. "You are what you love, not who loves you, in a world full of the word yes, I'm here to scream no." I sang as I looked at my reflection in the water.

I reached in my pocket and then pulled out a penny. I looked at it, made at wish, closed my fist, and then dropped it into the fountain.

"Jordan!" A voice called and I turned. I saw Taylor and smiled, walking over to the brunette boy. "Happy birthday my young grasshopper, you're fourteen now." He said and I laughed as we shared a hug.

"You and Shaun are here early." I told him and he chuckled. "Your parents going to come in?" He told me they'd be here at noon and I nodded. "The others are in the house. They won't let me help them prepare everything and it sucks."

"We bought you stuff but like my parents have it because they don't trust me with it." He told me and I laughed. "All I have is gum at the moment so... take some."

"Are you trying to tell me my breath stinks?" He nodded and I rolled my eyes, taking one of of sticks of gum. I put it my mouth after I unwrapped it and then he smiled.

"Is Ti-The other two going to come over or did they come up with some bullshit excuse to not come?" He asked me and I sighed.

"James said he couldn't because he doesn't want to see Chris and Timothy said he has a date with his new girlfriend." I said and he furrowed his eyebrows together. "But at least I have you, Christian, Shaun, and Chelsea coming." I said and he laughed.

"You will always have me and Christian." He told me and I nodded. "Now, how about we listen to some Fall Out Boy little miss birthday girl." He said and I laughed as he pulled his phone out.

"Wait, Ashton is calling me." I said and he nodded. I pulled my phone out and then picked up the phone.

"Hey sweetheart," Ashton said and I smiled. "I'm sorry we couldn't be there for your birthday. We left you gifts though, Chelsea will put them out for us."

"It's fine Ashton, I don't mind. You have a career and I know you would have been here if you could." I said. "And thanks." I told him.

"I hope you have a good one princess, me and the guys. We love you." I smiled and told them that I loved them too. "Managers are calling for us, I'm so sorry Jordan. I'll call you later on and I want to hear everything about today okay? Don't leave a single detail out."

"Of course dad," I said and he chuckled. "I'll talk to you soon. Bye." I said and then hung up. I looked at Taylor and sighed. "I really wish they could be here."

"You know they would have if they could have Jordan." He told me and I nodded. We shared a hug and I sniffled. "Don't cry, it's okay. They'll be home soon."

"I miss them so much." I said and he rubbed my back. "They're idiots but I want them here. They're my idiots. My extremely tall, wanna be punk rock, instrument playing idiots." I told him and he chuckled.

"I thought I was your idiot?"

"You're all my idiots."

"No, I'm your only idiot. They can be your morons. I'm the only idiot." He whined and I laughed, feeling a bit better. He always makes me feel better because he can always lighten a mood by being, well Taylor.

"Fine, you're my only idiot." I said and he thanked me. "Now, where's that Fall Out Boy music you promised you'd play?" I asked and he smiled.

He played their music on his phone and then grabbed my hand. "I can move mountains, I can work a a miracle-work a miracle," he sang and I rolled my eyes. Of course, a song about sex.

"Jordan! Want to help decorate the cake!?" I heard Chelsea yell and he turned the music down. Right when he turned the song on too... wow.

"Turn it back up, I love that song." I said and he nodded as we made our way to the house. We walked in and Chelsea set down a baked cake in front of us.

"I put the frosting in these bags, do whatever you want to it." She told me and I nodded. I handed a bag to Taylor and he smiled as he drew random things on the cake.

I did the same and we laughed as so they came out ugly and messed up. "Let's out a rainbow on it because this whole house supports Gay rights." I said and he agreed. We started on a rainbow and then the doorbell rang. Chelsea said she'd get it and I nodded, staying in my seat.

I looked and the clock and realized it was almost noon. People should be coming soon and the party will be started then. I sighed and then got back to the cake, giggling as I decorated it like some who just got his first ever marker.

"Your giggle is so cute, oh my god." Taylor said and I laughed as a blush coated my cheeks. "You sound like a little girl when you giggle."

"Well I am little... and I am a girl... so..."

"What? Really? No. I thought you were seven foot tall man who's turning thirty-three today. Wow. My whole life has been a lie."
