Chapter 20

Jordan's point of view

When I woke up, I was cuddled up into someone and they had their arms wrapped tightly around me. I snuggled closer to him, this person had no boobs so I assumed it was a guy, and he tightened his grip on me.

"Kids," I heard a feminine voice say and then it stopped. "Aww, how cute are they." It said and I pulled the blanket up higher since it was falling. "They are so going to start dating soon." It said.

"Babe, what's taking so lo-what the fuck?" I heard a male voice speak up. "He said he was sleeping on the couch, not in the same bed as our baby girl."

"You can't just let your best friend sleep on the couch, I mean, would you make me sleep on the couch?" The feminine voice asked.

"Yes, because I'd be on it with you." He said and the other voice sighed. "I am going to have to talk to this boy, stunts like this is not allowed."

"Shut up," I said and buried my face into the body beside me. I didn't even care who it was. I was tired and this person was my pillow. "I'm sleeping."

"Kids, it's time for breakfast. You need to wake up." Someone said and began shaking us. "Come on, I made French toast and sausage." Someone said and I heard a groan from beside me.

"Jordan, swetheart, it's time to wake up." A guy said but I ignored him. "Do you want me to take your skateboard away?"

"Touch it and I'll kill you." I growled and opened one eye. "Don't joke around like that." I said and Michael just laughed.

"I needed some way to wake you up. Now, go eat your breakfast." He said and I looked beside me. I saw Timothy's sleeping body and I smiled. He looked adorable.

"Timmy," I said since I couldn't get up. He was holding me down. "Timmy," I repeated and poked his cheek. He hummed and I just sighed.

"Yeah?" He mumbled after I said his name again. "What-What do you need?" He asked me and I stuck my tongue out at a shocked Michael. I can wake him up quickly and they can't.

"It's time for breakfast, also, I need to pee and I can't get up." I told him and he let me go immediately. "Now, get up Timmy-boy, I'll meet you downstairs."

"Fine," he said and rubbed his eyes. "Only if you will bring me my Blink shirt when you come down."

"Not happening, but you need to go down there before Ashton finds you in bed with me." He jumped out of the bed and I laughed.

"Yeah, about that, Timothy, come." Michael said and motioned him to follow him. I groaned and got out of bed myself as Chelsea sighed.

"I'll make sure he doesn't murder him okay? Go do your business." She said and I nodded. I went to my bathroom and quickly did what I had to do. When I finished, I flushed the toilet and then tied my hair into a bun.

I pulled the hoodie off of me and then grabbed a shirt off of the floor. I was, in no way, going to look through my closet for a shirt. It's early as hell, I'll get dressed properly later on.

I put my glasses on and then walked downstairs. Everyone was there besides for Michael and Timothy and I sighed. I took a seat and Chelsea laughed. "Who's wardrobe did you invade sweetie?"

"I grabbed a random shirt off of the floor." I said and she placed a plate in front of me. I thanked her and she just nodded. "Who's wardrobe did you invade Chels?"

"My boyfriend's." She said and I nodded. "Later on, I'm taking you shopping with me okay? Get dressed when your finished eating." She said and I nodded.

"I'll tell Timmy he has to leave then, after all, why would he stay if I'm leaving?" I asked as I cut my French Toast up.

"I was thinking on taking him too. He has a good fashion sense and I need help with outfits for guys." She said and I nodded. "Oh look, there he is." She said and I saw Timothy walking down.

"What did you do Michael?" Calum asked and he just shrugged. "Timothy, what did he tell you?" Calum asked the blonde but he just shook his head.

"I was promised fifty dollars if I didn't tell." Timothy said and held up fifty dollars. "Your boyfriend can really make a bargain Chelsea."

"You're the biggest dork I have ever met and I went to five schools and two adoption centers." I said and laughed. He laughed aswell and thanked me as he took a seat beside me.

"Timmo, I have a little favor to ask because my boys won't go shopping with me." Chelsea said and gave the four older boys a glare. "Would you like to go shopping with me and Jordan?"

"Depends, am I going to have to go with you to buy your girly things? Or hold all your bags? Or be your ken doll? Do I have to watch you guys dress up in everything you see?" He asked and the guys laughed.

"Yes," Calum said as he bit into a sausage.

"And yes," Luke added as he drank some of his tea.

"You sure are," Ashton told him with a nod of the head.

"Oh, you bet you are." Michael agreed and Timothy sighed. "It's fun, well, if you're dating the one who's trying everything on, well, depends what it is."

"Michael, Children!" Ashton scolded and I laughed as I bit into a sausage link. "Jesus, be a pervert somewhere where the kids are not."

"Please? I can't eat my sasauge while thinking of you and Chel- you know what? I'm done." I said and put everything down. I pushed the plate away and Calum laughed really hard.

"I'll go, I don't see any problem in it." He said and I sighed as I ran a hand through my hair. "I don't have any clean clothes."

"You can borrow one of my shirts and then we can wash your jeans, it doesn't matter." Michael said and Timothy nodded. "Go get dressed JJ, I'm sorry for the mental image."

"My mind is scarred." I said and stood up. "I'll be down soon." I said and they nodded.

I ran up to my room and then closed the bedroom door. I went straight towards my closet and grabbed a pair of ripped black jean shorts, a grey muscle shirt that read 'it's not just a band' in white lettering, a red flannel, and my white All-Star Converse.

I threw the outfit on and then brushed my hair out. I threw it in a messy side fishtail braid and then slid my glasses on. I threw on a necklace with a small cresent moon pendant and then ran downstairs.

"Timothy is with Michael, washing his jeans and picking out a shirt." Chelsea told me and I nodded. "You look cute. I love the shirt." She told me and I smiled.

"I bought that for her because we are more than a band to her, we're her family now." Calum said and I nodded, though I wasn't going to call them my 'family' just yet. It's been only a few weeks, I'm not going to call them that yet.

"It actually means bands are my everything and not just a bunch of celebrities." I said and Calum just rolled his eyes as he laughed. "So, I have no idea what you're talking about."

"How long until the two come down?" Chelsea asked as she checked her watch. "I need to get to the store and start picking out outfits for the upcoming tour and shit like that." She said and I froze.

"When does it start?" I asked her and she looked at me. "I don't remember ever being told about an upcoming tour." I said and she sighed.

"Dammit Chelsea." Ashton said and she gave him a glare. "You just had to bring it up, didn't you?" He asked her as he ran a hand through his hair.

"What tour?" I asked them again, wanting answers. "When we're you planning on telling me?" I asked the three guilty boys but it seemed to have gone unheard.

"You should have told her by now. It's in a few weeks." Chelsea said. "Have you even arranged where she will stay while you're on tour?" Ashton shook his head and I felt tears spring to my eyes.

They had and tour coming up, and I didn't know about it. They were leaving and they didn't have the decency to tell me earlier. I was staying here with someone else rather than with the people who actually adopted me. I was literally nothing but a bother to them.

"I'm ready," I heard Timothy's voice speak up and I couldn't help but turn my head to look at him. He wore one of Michael's plain black muscle tees and a bunch of bracelets along his wrists.

"You look good sweetie," Chelsea told him and Michael thanked her since I guess he was the one who dressed him. "Come on, let's go. The boys have something to talk over."

"Why didn't you tell me you guys were going on tour in a few weeks?" I asked Michael and he seemed to tense up. "You know what... I'm done." I said after I got no reply and ran away from the group, wiping my eyes furiously.

"Jordan, wait!" Timothy called out and soon his footsteps could be heard smacking against the wooden floors. Before I could rip the front door open, he had grabbed me and wrapped his arms around me, engulfing me in a comforting hug.

"Why is it even so important to you? It's not like you're dating one of us!" Michael called out and I wiped my eyes. "You're overreacting Jordan."

"Her birthday is in a month or so, which means you'll miss it." Timothy spoke up and I nodded. "Eighth grade promotion is in a month aswell, so you'll miss that. You guys adopted her and after a week or so you're going to leave her alone." He said and kissed my head.

"Come on babe, are you still up for shopping? We can even go out for ice cream cones and Starbucks." Chelsea spoke up and I felt her small hand on my lower back. "We can stop by the beach aswell and call up some more of your friends and hang out there, what do you say?"

I was quiet. "It will get you away from the boys." Timothy told me quietly and I nodded, finally agreeing to going still. "Yeah? Come on, I can text the others about it later. Right now, I have some earphones and a playlist full of our favorite bands calling your name."

"You're amazing." I told Timothy and pulled away. I wiped my eyes and he just chuckled. Chelsea smiled at me and fixed my bangs as she wiped my eyes.

"Now, starbucks first or ice cream? A little birdy told me you adored chamomile tea and caramel frappés aswell as chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream." She told me and I sniffled.

"Can we go to Starbucks first?" I asked and she nodded. She looked behind me and Timothy, giving a glare, and then looked down at me.

"Of course, now, let's get in the car. Timothy will text all your boys and see if they can meet up at the beach with us later. You haven't seen them in days." She said and I nodded as she opened the door.

We walked through it and as soon as the door closed, she looked at me. "How about this, if by the time we're done shopping and having fun at the beach, you still don't want to be around them, you can stay at my place and I can send you to school tomorrow?"

"That sounds great." I told her and she nodded. We made our way to the car and me and Timothy got in the backseat. I sat beside him and he threw an arm over my shoulder as I leaned my head on his shoulder.

"You two are cuter than Michael and Luke's little bromance." She said as she looked at us. I blushed and Timothy chuckled.

"Thanks," he said and didn't bother saying we weren't dating. Funny, I didn't add that in either, so Chelsea just looked at me through the rear view mirror before smiling and starting the car.
