THE UNPARTICIPANT

Vincent Sega can't remember how he got here, or rather that what he thinks beneath the blindfold. He wonders why has he been into these kind of things. Last time he was cornered by men in black in an alley way then a green haired girl just appeared out of nowhere and punches them in the crotches.

Oh, that's gonna hurt.

Anyway back to the present. With his fingers behind his back, he managed to feel the floor beneath him. Dust. He must be in an abandoned house or warehouse, he can't be sure. It's so obvious, smartass he is.

"What are we going to do with this kid?" He hears a hoarse voice of a man.

"I have no fucking idea, idiot! He just told us to bring him." Well, at least Vincent knows that he isn't going to get raped....yet.

"Wasn't his father a---"

"Shh, that boy might be listening."

Vincent silently clicked his tongue. He doesn't know what his father up to nor he cares. He wanted a normal life which he already has right now, he has a girlfriend (well, almost), a great circle of friends and a pinch of random people along the way, his average grades can take him higher than he thought.

He wasn't ready for the life-flashing-suddenly part yet.

The tan-skinned boy jumps when he hears large doors opening. "What is going on?" He thinks, shifting to where the sounds are. He hears footsteps, runnng footsteps and bone cracking.

"Urgh! What the fuck?!" The hoarse man yelled in shock, grunted and dropped to the floor. Vincent was panicking a bit, he shifted more and his blindfold went loose a bit, letting him see a glimpse of the kidnapper, he was coughing and his nose was bleeding.

"Oh holy shit, what just happened?!" Vincent asks to himself, his black eyes widening. Suddenly he hears soft footsteps going closer to him and distant voices around him.

"Minori go check the computer, delete all files on Vincent Sega!"

"Norami, go tie these men up, make sure that no one is in this building!"

He hears a female bossing around.

Vincent then hears loud footsteps of a man, his eyes finally allows him to watch a curly brown haired boy grabbing on to the bleeding nose man. "Who's your boss, tell me?!" That voice....is actually familiar.

The once forgotten woman in front of him kneeled down to his level and removed the blindfold, finally. Vincent's eyes widened, black hair with blue tips.

"Aina?" He whispered with shock, he can't bring himself to yell. Aina gave him a nod, not a smile or a hug or anything.

A blonde girl with blue and red eyes walked right up to them while Aina helped him up, he could feel Ai's hand shaking a bit. "Vincent Sega, I believe you don't know what's happening." The blonde spoke and the boy nods slowly, raising a brow.

"We will explain this once we get out of this building." She replies, walking away. Vincent grunted, he can't wait any longer. He knew his parents were keeping secrets from him, but he didn't want to care but with strange things happening around him recently, he can't ignore them any longer.

"No! I want to know n-now!" He croaked out, he wasn't the type to shout.

The blond just shook her head. Suddenly a bleached haired girl stood right in front of him, glaring at him with blood red eyes. "Listen up bro, you got ten seconds to get outta here before Mi-chan releases the bomb!" She bossed, pointing at a girl who was focused on the laptop, her glasses shining against the glowing light of the technology.

"Mi-chan? That nickname is so familiar..." Vincent thought...wasn't he classmates with Minori?

The green haired girl who saved him in the alleyway suddenly grabs onto his wrist and drags him out. "Let's get outta here!"

Before Vincent could even speak, all of them rushed out (good distance away form the warehouse) and Minori pressed on a remote. The building explodes.
