Backstory:Her mother is a Demon,while her father is a Human.When they had the kid,that made Opal a Half Demon.Her father has powers,and so does her mother,but her mother is stronger than her father.Opal herself wasn't told by anyone that she was half demon until she turned 9.Her mother decided to tell her one day,on her 9th birthday.It figured,to her,because her mother always looked kinda strange.After all the cake and present opening,opal asked her if she had any powers.She said yes,but the mother told her that the mothers powers were stronger than her fathers (her mother's name is Jessie,her fathers name is Samuel),which means opals powers are either of equal strength to both parents,or weaker/stronger than one of them.Opal nodded and went along with the training.Fast forward to 8th grade (when she was 13),Opal had developed some feelings she couldn't describe at first towards somebody at school.Thing is though,they didn't identify as a Girl,or Boy.They were Non-Binary.Their name was Mars.Opal couldn't figure out why she was feeling these these weird feelings towards them (She knew what Non-Binary meant btw).She talked to a friend of hers and said that what she is feeling for Mars,is love.Opal felt.....Relieved,and happy.She became friends with Mars,but 4 years later (when she was 17),they disappeared without a trace,her feelings for them leaving as well about a couple months later (she gave up on ever finding them).She never told her parents about her feelings towards Mars,or even her sexuality.She doesn't have the courage to.
