I just realized that there's a chance that I get a bad grade on this essay, regardless of whether or not I finished it, due to the number of times I said "the film" rather than "the film of To Kill a Mockjngbird."

Well, it can't be helped, right? I mean, this is a compare-and-contrast essay between the novel and the film of To Kill a Mockingbird.

Therefore, I'd have to repeat "the film" and "the novel" several times, so I can't constantly say "the novel To Kill a Mockingbird" and "the film of To Kill a Mockingbird," right?

...I feel better about myself.
