Reiner floated absentmindedly, next to Kira, who happened to be walking around in her room, extremely bored. Kira blinked at the floor as she walked around, "I'm extremely bored and everyone I know is gone somewhere. Stupid Titans, now ï have to recover from my injuries." She said. Reiner looked over to her, before piping up, "It's necessary, you know. You can't fight with a broken arm." "Still, Rei. I wanna help the others." "Well, ya gotta wait, Ki."

"Oh, shït!" Kira hissed, as she fell to the floor. "You okay?" Reiner asked, smugly. "No, you rock. I just fell on the floor and mentally died." "Is that possible?" "Hell if I know." Reiner helped her up, rolling his eyes. "Thanks, Rei." "You're welcome."

Reiner had been staring up at the ceiling, blinking slightly. "I wish I was still alive. Then I could hug you properly." Reiner complained, as he turned his head to look at a sleeping Kira. "And I could sleep properly as well." At least, Reiner thought, I can still protect Kira even in "death". He made a promise to her, that he would protect her for as long as he lived, and even though he wasn't technically alive, he would still protect her. He already blamed himself for her broken arm, he didn't want her to die without seeing the ocean with her brother. He would make a million promises, and he would fulfill them all for her. That's just the way his life goes, well if you could call it his life.
