one itty bitty cut i thought

a rip

a tear

and a trip to the hospital

a mess of tears

beside me always

a flash of color,

that's all i remember

what could be the worst?

death is what i though

but his face when i woke,

it was the worse

i remember it vividly

the sunken eyes

hair unkempt

and permanent tears down both cheeks

what have i done,

this is the worst

not death

but i felt i died a little that day

i little cut

a giant tear

the scar thats still there

but the worst was the look on your face,

i remember you still there

the side of my bed every night

weeping and begging me to come back

you would tell me stories,

like when we were kids

about you

your life

and how you wished i was there

you practiced your proposal,

my heart was alive and beating

but my body wouldn't listen

i wanted to jump into your arms right there

but my body wouldn't even hold your hand back,

i was so mad at my body

so mad i woke from my bodies slumber

and slapped myself

it was kinda funny

it hurt like hell

but i gotta look for a silver lining,

like we got married 

and moved far, far from america

and both of our families
