The sound of the thud on the floor was enough for Simran to know her son's turmoil. But she remained still, as she knew Sameer was completely wrong. Sameer just couldn't get over the fact the Naina was in India now, without him. He was flabbergasted. But he knew he himself was responsible for what was happening in their life. He couldn't blame anyone. 

Sameer called Munna and asked him to meet him at Tim Hortons immediately. Munna sensed his uneven breath and his chocked tone, so he rushed hotfoot to reach Tim Hortons, leaving his office work aside.

They were chatting with each other the next hour. "Bhai kya hua hai tujhe bta na!! Ghar kuch hua kya? Dekh Sameer teri haalat dekh ke mujhe boht darr lag rha hai jaldi bta kya hua hai tujhe?! Munna actually seemed tensed and concerned seeing his friend's condition.

"Munna, sab kuch khatam ho gya..mai..mai boht bura hu..meri Naina ji mujhe chod ke chali gyi..sirf aur sirf meri vajah se" he couldn't take it more and hugged hid bestie very tight, seeking some warmth, while chocking and crying.

"Bhai mat ro..mai hu tere saath, tu bilkul tension mat le, hum pakka koi na koi idea soch lenge bhabhi ko manane ka.. par please tu pehle mujhe sab kuch detail me bta" Munna mumbled to him while caressing his back, assuring him.

They remained like that for sometime. Sameer then finally lifted himself and sat on his seat, gulping the hot coffee in one go. He left the cup only to see Munna's eyes turning extremely wide, and jaw almost hitting the ground. "Kya hua?" he asked Munna. 

"Nhi kuch nhi.. vo tune itni garam double double ek hi baar me peeli, tu theek hai na Sameer?" Munna was concerned.

"Theek hi toh nhi hu yarr.. maine meri Naina ji ko kho diya hai" he chocked again.

"Dekh Sameer, aise baar baar rone se kuch nhi hone wala..bhabhi ko agar manana hai toh kuch sochna hi padega, aur ideas ke liye tujhe pehle mujhe sab kuch batana padega na.. chal himmat rakh aur mujhe bta sab kuch." he consoled him.

"Munna tujhe yaad hai kaise mujhe Naina ji kitne pasand aa gye the.. she was, no, she is my first sight love. Aur jab hum India gye the tab tak I was immensley in love with her. Aur jaise jaise humare meetings badhte gye vaise vaise mai apne decision pe aur pakka hota gya. She has a golden heart. Unhone day one se mujhe poori tarah se accept karne ke saath saaht mere liye humesha ADJUST bhi kiya. Shaadi se pehle tak humara bond kaafi strong bhi ho gya tha, shayad unki ADJUSTING nature ki vajah se, par Munna, unse pyaar hone ke bawajood mai yeh sab nhi dekh paaya. Unki aankhon me dikhta tha that she admires me to a great extent. Maybe she also started loving me when our wedding was close. Humara ek boht hi sweet sa relation tha shaadi se pehle, meri Naina ji ki vajah se.." Sameer composed himself and started narrating everything. He let out a long exhale before continuing. 

"Mujhe abhi bhi yaad hai when it was our first night, I wasn't comfortable at that time for sharing any proximity with her. Yeh shayd meri feelings express na karne ki vajah se tha. Maine humesha apne emotions ko hadd se zyada control me rakha. But meri Naina ji ne mujhe har tarah se accept kiya, tab bhi agar vo khud uncomfortable ho. Mai unse kuch bhi kehta tha vo khushi khushi maan jaate the. Na hi aaj tak unhone mujhse kuch maanga hai, shayad isliye, isliye kyuki maine kabhi unse poocha hi nahi, unki opinion kabhi maangi hi nhi. Aur jab hum yaha aa gye toh cheezien aur kharab ho gyi. Mere kharab routines unhe boht tang karte honge, boht baar aisa bhi hua hai ki unko akele khaana khana pada kyuki mai pehle hi khaake aa jaata tha. Office jab unhone mere saath join kiya toh, toh maine jaise unko poori tarah se akela hi kar diya tha. Maine kisi ko nhi btaya ki wo meri wife hain. Mujhe boht baar aisa feel hone lag gya ki agar Naina ji mere saath kahi jaayenge toh mere friends mera mazak udayenge, mera dimaag kharab ho gya tha."

he continued, "Main boht bada gadha hu, bewakoof hu, jisne aaj tak unko support nhi kiya, kisi ke bhi saamne. Dheere dheere humare beech dooriyan ani shuru ho gyi. Mai kuch na kuch bura karta gya aur vo mere liye ADJUST karte gye. And to fuel up the environment, vo pagal Zoe humari life me aa gyi". He gave a disgusting look when talked about Zoe.

Munna immediately asked, "Par Zoe toh teri best friend thi na?"

"Thi. Par jo do din pehle party me hua, uss sab ke baad mai usse ek acha insaan tak nhi samajh sakta."

Flashback starts

Naina left from the party before she got even more insulted from someone. Sameer was about to go with her but stopped as he didn't want to feel embarrassed. 

Zoe came right infront of him before he could think anything else. She couldn't even stand properly as she was drunk. 

"Hey Sam, my love" A smug smile playing on her lips.

"What are you saying Zoe?!!" he asked, astonished at her sudden declaration.

"Sam! I'm sayin right! I love ya.. from grade 10, and I know you love me too. But why did you marry that bitch (sorry for the language).." Her sentence was cut by the dangerous voice of Sameer, "Mind you language.. don't you dare utter a single word for my wife.."

"Oh really? Do you love her? Do you love that Naina, who always makes you feel embarracced? Who dresses so wierd?"

"I don't know why she wore that dress, but..." Now, his sentence was cut by Zoe.

"Let me inform ya Sam, Naina didn't wanna wear that dress, but she did because of you, coz she was befooled that you bought that dress for her. I had stolen the original dress, before she could even look at it. And I was the one who made that disgusting hairstyle and makeup for her, again sayin to her that you liked it." She revealed, owing to her drunken state.

Sameer was shocked, would be and understatement. He was doubfound, shattered. All he could do was to stare her with hate filled wide open eyes. 

"listen to me carefully Sam, I can do ANYTHING to make you guys separate". Zoe spoke.

Without biding a bye to anyone present there, Sameer just walked out, followed by Zoe. 

Realization eventually started sinking in his sould, but at that time he wasn't able to recognise anything. Only then he realised that Zoe was sitting right next to him in the front seat of the car, when they had reached half way. Now there was no way he could be alone, he had to take Zoe home.

Flashback ends

"Bhai ye Zoe toh boht hi khurafati nikli!!" Munna spoke, widening his eyes.

"Vohi toh! Aur fir uske baad sab kuch bikhar gya.. meri Naina ji mujhse door ho gyi..Munna, mujhe sachi boht regret hai jo bhi maine unke saath kiya..mai boht bura hu..tabhi mom and dad ne bhi Naina ji ko India bhej diya" he cried again.

Munna consoled him again. 

"Bhai, mai yeh toh nhi kahunga ki tu sahi hai, Sameer, tujhse galti toh hui hai. Par abhi bhi waqt hai Sameer, tu bhabhi ko wapas laa sakta hai. Hum aisa karte hain, hum India chale jaate hain, vaise bhi mujhe lagta nhi hai ki bhabhi ne kisi ko kuch bataya hoga jaake. Hum waha chale jaate hain, aur vaise bhi Pandit ki shaadi hai, aur hum bas paanch dus din pehle jaa rhe hain. Mujhe pakka pta hai Pandit aur Preeti bhabhi ke saath tu bhi Naina bhabhi ko yaha leke aayega".

"Haan Munna, hum abhi hi tickets karva lete hain, tu Swati bhabhi se baat karle, fir hum chalenge." He spoke, finally getting a little hope.

They checked for the available tickets, but Sameer's hopes got shattered as the closest date was after two weeks. 

"Sameer ab hum isme kuch nhi kar sakte, par tu yeh tickets jaldi book karvale isse pehle koi aur karle". He suggested.

"hh..haan..abhi karta hu" He booked the tickets immediately.

But the wait of two weeks was gonna be arduous.
