"Daddy....daddyyy.......imara came running into zain's study room...as he was busy in his work

"Careful Imara...you will get hurt...dont run.........he responded in return of her voice

"Daddy.....she came and stood near Zain
While zain was sitting on a chair working on his laptop

"Yes princess....what happened....why are you looking so excited....he turned a little towards her and then get back in his work

"I have a question....What is k...k..karwa...cha...chauth...KARWA CHAUTH.....? She said with much difficulty

This gets Zain's attention....

He looks into the eyes of his curious daughter

He closed his laptop and bring her onto his lap
"Imara...Where do u heard this word...?.....he asked to his surprise

"Vo....Mumma....mumma was talking to nani over phone...and she was continuously using this word......
Daddy can u please tell me what is this kar...karwa chaun....?

Zain smiled "Its karwa chauth princess not karwa chaun.....he tickled her nose

"Ha vhi....tell me na...she was way too curious to know about this clearly seen in ber eyes

Zain begin explaining her
"Princess.....Its a festival..
Its an Indian tradition where all the wives keep fast for their husbands...As they pray to god for the long life of their respective husbands...
They stay hungry for the whole day and at the end they eat only after the moon arrives in the sky.......

Imara's eyes turned more wide
"Really papa....they stay hungry for the WHOLE DAY.....Will mumma also stays hungry for you...?

Zain looked around as he noticed Aditi entering the room "Imara come.....have your milk and go to sleep........Its already 10:30 p.m....."

"No mumma 5 minutes more...she made a pout requesting her to give her 5 minutes

"No...no...no more excuses....

She made her drink milk....while she was still sitting on zain's lap

"Good girl....now say good night to papa....and go to your bed.....she said while keeping the empty glass aside

Imara looked at Zain to continue with his talks

Zain : We will talk tommorow princess....You will get late if you will not sleep now.....That why go and sleep for now ..We will discuss about this later.

She obidiently listened to him
"Okay....good night papa.. She kissed his cheeks and jumped off his lap and ran to her room

Zain smiled at her daughter

"Careful Imara.....dont run bacha....he instructed again being a protective dad he is

Lately at night in Adiza room

Zain : Aditi....don't tell me you are keeping fast tommorow....?

Zain asked her out of his concern

Aditi sat next to him and held his hands
"Zain.....I want to keep fast....please let me do it na.....
I understand last time you denied because I was due with Ansh....But this time I can keep it...Their is no issue Zain.......she said in an attempt to convince him

Zain looked into her shinning eyes
"Aditi....you know it very well...that I dont like when you starve yourself for the whole day.....he kept his one hand on her cheek

Aditi covered his hand with her "Zain....I know.....I know you dont like these things....I know you dont believe in such traditions.....

But zain....its not only about me keeping the fast.....IT'S ABOUT YOU.......I know you dont believe in it.....But I believe in it...I WANT TO PRAY FOR YOUR LONG LIFE.....FOR YOU ZAIN....

And when its about YOU.....i can starve myself for the whole year.....And its just ONE DAY....Please Zain...

Zain was half way concinced....not liking the tradition at all....But with the way Aditi was comvincing him melted his heart....He cant deny to her happiness

Zain : But Aditi....

Aditi interupted him "No Zain.....this time I am not listening to you.....I am keeping the Karwa chauth fast for you.....And that's my descision.......she said in a high tone

Zain finally gave in "They say it right......Husband's can't win over their wives........he said to his defeat

Both of them laughed....

Next Morning

Aditi dressed herself in a descent red coloured sarree....

With descent make up and wearing some of the jewellery....she was looking all beautiful and adorable

Ansh was sleeping....Imara has went to her school......and Zain has also left early this morning for his meetings scheduled....

Aditi went to a nearby hall....where all the other ladies were gathered for the rituals

All of them praised Aditi for she was looking so elegant , descent yet beautiful.

They completed the karwa chauth rituals.

Aditi was happy doing all that

Because of Ansh she cant apply the whole mehendi on her hands......as he might need her anytime....and her hands full of mehendi may take time to dry out........
So she just wrote a 'Z' with a heart on her palm....as a symbol of her love

Soon she came back home after completing all the rituals

She found Ansh playful in his crib....

She smiled seeing him

She played with him for sometime....giggling and laughing with him...

She bathed him...and fed him with his breakfast.....

Aftet that she left him on his play mat...and completed other chores.

All the day....she managed everything.... just like her daily routine....while no one can make through her face that she has not even drank a single sip of water since morning.

And she was happy doing all this....coz its for her love....her zain.

At the night

Zain was standing at the terrace.......wearing a traditional white kurta pyjama.

Imara was standing beside him......holding his finger.

Both of them were busy looking at the stars in the sky

"Daddy...when will the moon come......?"she asked him looking at the sky

"It will take time princess.......Definately moon likes to tease all the hungry wives out here....."

Suddenly.......Imara's sight went on to the white shining moon appearing in the sky.....

"Yeahhh.....Daddy look MOON......Imara excitedly points at the apprearing moon in the sky.

Both of them had a smile on their faces....

Zain : Imara.....go n call your mumma.......tell her that moon has arrived....

Imara ran and informed Aditi about the moon

While Aditi was busy in making Ansh sleep on his bed.....

"Mumma...mumma.....imara came to her room

"Moon...moon.....come fast mumma....she said in a hurry and held her hands....to bring her.

Aditi and Imara reached the terrace......

Zain turned to looked them

They both smiled seeing each other

She then saw the moon in the sky...

Aditi got excited seeing the moon....

"Zain chand aa gya.....she said excitedly as she was waiting for so long.....

Zain saw her sparkling eyes......which were all shinning with the happiness

She never failed to look gorgeaous.....

Zain cupped aditi's face "Mera chand to tum ho Aditi......he smiled

Imara : Mumma...please do the rituals na....i wanted to see....i wanted to see.....she started jumping as she was another girl who was more excited just to watch all these customs being performed by her parents

Aditi got the thaali prepared.....with placing a diyaain it

She does the aarti of moon...and then of Zain...

She first saw the moon through seive.....and then she saw Zain through it.

Imara was happy seeing all this standing curiously near them...

Zain was smiling all this while

(Meanwhile Imara went downstairs.......leaving them alone to complete the further rituals... .)

He finally held the glass of water in his hand and was about to make her drink it but.....

"Ruko.....aditi interupted him

Zain got confused "kya hua....?"
He looked at her all confused..

Aditi looked into his eyes
"Main tumhari biwi hu zain.....tum mujhse kuch nhi chupa skte.....she said looking in his eyes lovingly

Zain gave a confused look

"Main janti hu...maine subah se kuch nhi khaya....to tumne bhi subah se kuch nhi khaya hoga.......Right Zain.....?

Zain felt blessed.....she got a wife you knows him in n out

He gave a slight smile
"How do you know this Aditi...?"

Aditi : Because I am your wife Zain.......And I know how much My husband loves me....she said having a proud smile on her face

Why you did this Zain....Why you kept yourself hungry.........There was no need....she said keeping her hand on his face

Zain : Ofcourse it was needed Aditi........You kept fast for my long life.......But WHAT WILL I DO IN MY LIFE WITHOUT YOU.......I NEED YOU BESIDE ME FOR MY WHOLE LIFE......So...thats why I kept fast for you.......

If I am important to you.......then....For ME.... YOU ARE IMPORTANT.....And for YOU...I can do anything.....this one day fast is nothing in front of that....

She then made him drink water first

Zain sipped the water from her hands.........and then with the same glass he made her drink it too.....

They smiled

Zain hugged her bringing her into his protective arms....I love you....

Meanwhile Imara came back on the terrace......

She has brought a camera with her......and suddenly clicked their pic to their surprise

"Imara....adiza said together....breaking their hug

"See mumma....see papa....I have clicked a picture of you .....How is it......she excitedly saw them her click

Aditi and Zain got happy seeing their pic........

As their precious moment was so beautifully captured by their darling daughter.....

They both smiled at their daughters innocence....

Zain picked her up and kissed her face "Muaahh....My princess never fails to surprise mumma and papa.....

Aditi held her hand "This is such a beautiful click beta.....Thank you so much....she kissed her hands

After some time.....they had their dinner.... where Zain fed Aditi with his hands....and Aditi does the same...

They were blessed to have each other......where both of them understands each other......care for each other......and most importantly Love each other so much.

Their Love is beyond any boundaries.....No religion....no tradition...no belief limits their love.....As its eternal💝
