"Ife let's quickly go to the tuck shop before this woman's meat pie will finish o" my best friend, Sewa said in her futile attempt of pulling me from her seat.

It was break time already and I couldn't be more grateful. If I sat down for one more second,my butt could literally be stuck to the chair for life.

"Mimi how far now" I heard someone call from behind us on our way to the tuck shop and I instantly knew who it was.

It was only David that called me Mimi. He said it was his 'special nickname' for me

"David how are you" I greeted him back as he slung his arm lazily over my shoulder.

" Me I'm not fine o... This accounting is already weakening my spirit o" David said making both I and Sewa laugh

" Sebi it is you that used to shout I want to become a banker now" Sewa said making the both of us to laugh again

"You guys are mad I swear" David said and removed his arm from my shoulder while scrunching his face up into a playful frown

"David we want to buy something...come and spons us now" Sewa said,the moment we finally got to the tuck shop

"It's as if you you're mad ni abi? " David said as I tried to hold the laugh that was threatening to burst out.

Even with his Playboy facade, Davids sense of humor always seems to amaze me. The guy was a freaking clown. He can be funny when he wants to be and very flirty too most times.
But I usually don't take it to heart since I knew the kind of person he is. And I obviously knew he was just joking since his sister would definitely kill him if he tried to make any moves on her best friend.

"You're useless seh...Useless he-goat" Semiloore replied

" Idiotic she-goat"

" Ram"

" Chicken"

" Cow"

Sewa and her brother continued to bicker at themselves as we waited at the line if the tuck shop.
At times I actually found it hard to believe that they weren't if the same mother and father, the way the three of them related with each other.

Speaking of Daniel... Where is he gan sef?

"Where is Daniel?" I asked,voicing my thoughts and also to put an end to their useless bickering .

" Wetin be my own?" David replied
I didn't get to reply him cause I was distracted before I could.

"Hey" I turned to see the 'cute, beautiful eyes curly hair nameless guy' wave to me slightly before he walked down to the other way to where i presumed was his class

"Ife!!! Did Dennis just greet you right now?" Sewa asked me looking surprised

" Who?"

" Dennis na! Sebi he's the one that just greeted you now" she continued

" So that guys name is even Dennis... He's the one that wants to be spoiling my own reggae" David added

Ohhh! So he's the Dennis! Now I can see the big fuss

"Which Kain stupid reggae you get sef?" Sewa said facing David and I was grateful she'd dropped the matter for now. But I know she'll still ask me later.

David didn't get a chance to reply because I and Sewa had already gotten to the front of the line.

"Ma please I want to buy two meatpie, two drinks and five chewing gum" Sewa ordered from the woman that was selling the snacks

After she gave us our goods I tried to retrieve the money from my purse before David stopped me.

"Don't worry Mimi, I'll pay for it" He said and didn't leave me any room for objections as he already gave the woman the bills and bought what he wanted to buy too.

"Oyaaaa!...TMM!!(Too much money)...Omo baba olowo!...And you were acting like a fool before as if you'll not later pay for us" Sewa hailed him obviously happy that we could save both our monies and probably use it to buy something else later.

I laughed at her display that attracted a lot of attention from the other students standing there as some other silly ones even went as far as to leave comment like 'Dave come sponsor us too na'
'Dave show us your money na'

"Thank you David" I said and he replied with a common 'Its fine'

" You guys I have to go o...I still have to copy my accounting note before break over. I swear that subject just dey weak me ni...I don tire" David said once he escorted us back to our class

" Okay no problem" I and Sewa said at the same time

"Jinx personal padlock" we said together again while pinching ourselves before laughing

"The both of you no get sense" David said,earning himself a slap on his head by his sister.
They bickered for a while before David finally said his goodbye.But before he left he came bent down to my height and whispered into my ears
"I'll see you later Mimi" before giving me a peck on my cheeks making me blush uncontrollably.

I finally saw why girls actually likes this guy even with his reputation. He is really charming. But I know better than to fall for his tricks like those desperate fools.

"Hmmm" I almost forgot my friend was still beside me as I turned and saw her giving me a fishy look

"What?" I asked, as I already knew what she wanted to ask me
"Wait don't even ask me at all...No! Nothing is going on between I and your brother" I reassured her and took my meatpie and drink from her and started eating since I was already hungry. I also took two out of the five chewing gums she bought which we would later chew them during classes to prevent us from sleeping. It has become a habit and most of the teachers didn't even complain anymore since they knew we would just sleep if they told us to discard it.
But there are still some teachers that hot puff-puff oil is cooking on their brain that we can't try that one for. For example, Mr Bolaji.

" You didn't even allow me to talk first" Sewa said as she chuckled before we took our seats in the class.
I couldn't miss the poisonous glares if the girls in my class probably because of what David did but I was actually far from caring right now.

"There's no need na. I already know what you'll ask" I told her

"But seriously babe I'm not against the both of you o. You guys actually look cute together. Its just...you know David now. And I really don't want you to be one of his conquests. You know he's never serious with things like this. And he's been getting extra flirty this days" Sewa said while finally taking a bite out if her own meat pie

"See you o. I'm not interested in David o. You know that's how he normally used to do. Dont mind him" I told her

"Please what's the time?" I asked see, changing the subject as it was already getting uncomfortable and also because u forgot my wrist watch at home. Or should I say at big mummy's home.

I still hadn't told Sewa about my sudden move to big mummy's house and I know I had to tell her soon but I was just waiting for....the right time? I don't really know sha. My mind wandered off to what happened last night and I almost had a hard time keeping my laughter in.
After I walked into the doors of that house, I realized staying at big mummy's place wouldn't be so bad.
I was actually looking forward to my stay there.

"12:00" She answered after checking her wrist watch and I carried my bag to take out my note and get prepared for the next class.

As I opened my bag,I saw something I was gradually getting familiar to by now...A note.
I sighed and glanced at Sewa,glad she was carried away with her discussion with a fellow classmate.
Wait?

Yesterday's note...

Roses are red
Violets are blue
Your first clue comes at the strike of noon.

This is noon! So I guess this is my first clue...

Clue to what actually?
I really didn't know yet.

But I guess I will after opening this one.
