51. My Riesens (Reasons)

YO!

I AM SO SORRY!!

A lot is happening in life ... Exams, assignments, end of the year parties, birthdays and what not.

I got really busy. Shovy :(

~*~*~

About my last author's note, I got mixed comments but, most of you wanted extra chaps. And a lot of you asked for no twist.

So, I can't promise how many extra chaps there will be but, no twist.

Initially the epilogue was going to be one long chap of '3 months later' but I'll fill in a couple of chaps between that time. Not too many because I don't want to stretch it too much because then it will get boring.

~~~ROOP's POV~~~
Bipolar disorder.
I am sure he has that.
"Come on!" He called again, a smile lingering on his lips; as he held the car's door for me and I quickly slipped inside.
First he tells me that I am not supposed to be a part of his family functions and then he makes me stay when I am willing to leave. Inke upar wale hisse main zaroor koi problem hai.
"Seatbelt," I shivered at his voice and looked up. "Seatbelt," Waqas repeated and I realised what he was asking for.
"Haathon main mehendi lagi hai?" He asked and I looked down at my hands, nodding. He exhaled a sharp breath, "Roop, buckle up your seatbelt."
I mentally face palmed myself as I fiddled with the strap. That was supposed to be a taunt. I wasn't supposed to look down at my hands.
"Pagal," he chuckled and I scowled at him. "Aap pagal."
He glanced in my direction and raised an eyebrow. I gulped and I looked away. Something about those eyes is so captivating. I don't know why that look always sends a shiver down my spine.
"Tumhaare saath reh kar ho Gaya hoon," he muttered just before the engine roared to life.
"Toh main chali aati hoon," I almost opened the door when he reversed the car in full speed. I gasped as he pressed the breaks and smirked at me, "you wish."
It's ok Roop, he is just teasing. He is not a killer jo itna Dar rahi hai. But why did he ask me to stay? Tabiyat toh theek hai?
The car raced through the almost empty streets and soon we were right outside our houses. Waqas opened his garage with the remote and parked inside. I stepped out quickly and inhaled the cold air. That ride was silent and awkward.
"Good night!" I smiled at him, "and thanks for dropping me home."
"You have no idea how much time I wasted while dropping you home," he shook his head and I rolled my eyes.
"Saath main toh hai ghar. Plus you insisted," I reminded and he raised an eyebrow at me. "Exactly."
Oh yeah. Aivein thank you bola.
"Vapis kar do," I blurted. He frowned at me, "kya?"
"Mera thank you." What am I even saying?
He opened his mouth to say something but stopped. He looked at me closely and snickered, brushing his nose with his thumb.
"What's so funny?" I asked him.
"Tumne by any chance Kuch pee liya hai?" He questioned me, making me frown, "you are talking nonsense." He chuckled and leaned against his car.
"I should be the one asking you that," I scoffed, folding my arms.
"Why?"
"You erupt like mount Vesuvius at me every time aur aaj dekho...." I widened my eyes at him and took a deep breath before pressing my lips together. Aise koi bolta hai kisi Ko?
"You know what? I am sorry," I muttered and turned around, "good night."
"Roop wait!" He called out and I bit my lower lip. Bhaag le Roop warna yeh bomb phir se tujh par phatega.
I continued walking, ignoring his voice. He called my name three times but stopped when he realised that he was clearly being ignored. I stepped in front of my door and reached for my clutch which was obviously not in my hand.
"Asmaara's room," I mumbled, remembering where I last saw it, and face palmed myself. I stepped away from the door and sat by the stairs. No way I am waking up bhabhi at this hour. I'll just wait for bhai to come home.
I didn't have my phone with me and I was not wearing my wrist watch. I couldn't tell the time or had any source of entertainment so, I sighed and rested my head on my knees, not sure when bhai will be coming home.
~~~ASMAARA's POV~~~

"Kaise mujhe tum mil gayi, kismat pe aaye naa yakeen

Utar aayi jheel mein, jaise chaand utarta hai

Kabhi haule haule dheere se...."

I gasped when I felt his hands on my hips and he pulled my closer. I looked down at the floor and bit my lips to hide my grin. His smirk was making me nervous, resulting in this stupid grin, and he was clearly enjoying it.

"Gunguni dhoop ki tarah se tarannum mein tum

Chhooke mujhe Guzri ho yoon

Dekhoon tumhe, Ya main sunoon

Tum ho sukoon, Tum ho junoon

Kyun pehle na Aayi tum? "

"Kyun pehle na aayi tum?" Shehry repeated the line in a whisper and I looked up, "Bolo?"

Before I could speak, he pulled away and held my right hand. He stepped away, stretching his arm before slowly pulling me in again.

"Ghalti ho gayi... Shovy," I pouted at him and he pinched my nose. "Kaha tha na, don't pout or else I might...."

I gasped, slapping his arm and he laughed, throwing his head back.

"Main to ye sochta tha ke aaj kal

Upar wale ko fursat nahi

Phir bhi tumhe banake woh

Meri nazar mein chadh gaya

Rutbe mein woh aur badh gaya..."

Shehry made me spin around in circles before he pulled me into him. My back touched his chest and I felt his soft warm breath near my neck. I giggled nervously when I felt his finger behind my neck as he brushed away my hair to one side. His lips touched my skin and I pressed my lips together. I could feel him smiling against my skin before he made me turn around.

"Badle raaste jharne aur nadi, Badle deep ki tim tim

Chhede zindagi dhun koi nayi, Badle barkha ki rim jhim..."

I looked up at him and found him smiling down at me. His eyes full of love and affection. I watched as he wrapped his index finger around some loose strands of my hair and tucked them behind my ear. He leaned in and kissed my forehead, allowing his lips to stay there for a few seconds.

"Badlengi rituyen adaa Par main rahoongi sada

Usi tarah teri bahon mein bahen daalke

Har lamha Har pal ..."

"Shehry," I whispered his name and he slowly pulled away.

"Hmm?" He asked, his eyes searching my face. His thumb caressed my cheek, making it hard for me to form words. I chuckled and shook my head.

He smiled, looking into my eyes, before he leaned closer again and kissed my eyelids. One by one; slow and gentle.

"Zindagi sitar ho gayi,

Rimjhim malhaar ho gayi,

Mujhe aata nahi kismat pe apni yakeen,

Kaise mujhko mili tum...."

"Really," He whispered, "Kaise mujhko mili tum?"

I held his hand that was still on my cheek and shook my hand, "No, I should be the one asking that. Tum mujhe kaise mil gaye?"

He looked here and there, as if really thinking. "Bas aise hi, ek din road pe chalte- chalte."

I chuckled, shaking my head. "Dance ho gaya, khush?" I asked him and he nodded. "Very khush."

"Chalo fir so jao!" I quickly said and turned around but, I was stopped by him. His arm snaked around me as he pulled me closer. "Aise kaise? I am still waiting for my Riesens."

His grip tightened around me as he kept his chin on my shoulder, burning my skin. I turned my head to the other side and I bit my lips, trying not to grin.

"Mmmh, I don't mind stay like this for the rest of the night if you wish but, no one gets to sleep before you fulfil your promise," He whispered, softly kissing my earlobe. I held back a moan, as he kissed his way down to my neck. I shivered, visibly, and that surely made him smirk. He knows the affect he has on me.

My fingers wrapped around his hands that were on my waist as I turned around, still trapped in his arms. My hands trailed up his chest and I wrapped them around his neck.

"You are asking me for reasons?" I asked him with a smile, "pyaar main reasons nahi hotey, Shehry. Agar hotey toh tum mere nahi hotey."

He pulled away, frowning at me, "Itna bura hoon main ki reject kar deti?"

I snickered at his expressions. Nahi, bohot ache ho.... Mujhse kahi zyada.

"Haan," I nodded at him and he mockingly scowled at me. "Fine, if you don't want to tell me why you love me, then tell me why you wouldn't fall for me.... Considering how long it took me to win your heart." He snorted, shaking his head.

"What?" I laughed, fisting his sherwaani's collar. "Yeah, tell me things you don't like about me."

Koi ho toh bataun na. I am amused; how can someone be as flawless as you are? Everything about you is just perfect.

"Soch lo, subha ho jaayegi," I teased him instead and he raised an eyebrow. "Ab toh bina sune hamein bhi neend nahi aayegi."

"Fine," I nodded, roaming my eyes on his face, trying to think of what I could talk about, "Your nose for instance.... Its straight and beautiful but, then it suddenly resembles a pakora."

"Pakora?" he raised his eyebrow at me and I nodded, innocently. "Like a deformed bread pakora."

He huffed and kept his hands on his waist. I gulped, trying not to giggle, "you asked for them." I pouted at him and he rolled his eyes.

"I was born with it so not my fault... Aur kuch?" he asked and I nodded. His eyes widened but, he contained his expression, "then what are you waiting for?"

"Gusha toh ni hoge naw?" I asked him, cutely, and he shook his head. "Nahi."

He was clearly annoyed already.

~~~ROOP's POV~~~
"What are you doing out here?" A deep voice startled me out of my mini nap. I shook my head, making sure I wasn't dreaming. Yawning, I looked up and gasped.
"Waqas? What are you doing here?" I asked him and rubbed my tired eyes. He shrugged and sat beside me, "I saw you from my window."
"Oh," I sighed and scooted away from him.
"I want to be famous for making films and not for my criminal record so, you are absolutely safe with me," he looked at me and sighed, "kha nahi jaunga jo bhaag rahi ho."
"Kya bharosa," I blurted, instantly covering my mouth. Waqas blankly stared at me for a few seconds before awkwardly nodding. He looked away and ran a hand through his hair.
"I sor-"
"Don't Waqas," I stopped him, "you should say sorry when it comes from your heart. Baar baar gussa ho kar mafi mangne ka koi faida nahi hai."
"I understand you are famous and all so this attitude is justified. So please don't waste your time apologising," I added, looking down at my hands, "believe it or not, tomorrow you will act like that again and the day after that, you will apologise for your behaviour. So what's the point?"
"Nosh wants me to marry you," he whispered all of a sudden and I chocked. "What? But you hate me!"
He looked at me for a brief moment and sighed.
"This is why you think I hate you," he corrected me, "I didn't want you to agree in case she talked to your family."
So he rejected me before I even found out about Nosh's silly idea.
That hurts.
"So you thought it's ok to hurt me?" I asked, feeling disappointed all of a sudden. Why don't people understand that I am as human as they are? I have feelings too.
"It just happened ok?" He retorted, glancing at me. I held his gaze for about two seconds before he looked away, "everyone kept telling me that you are the best so, every time I saw you, I kept bursting."
"Like a volcano," he added and I chuckled, unknowingly. "Volcanoes erupt," I snorted, correcting him.
He turned to me and narrowed his eyes, "seriously? You are going to correct my grammar right now?"
"Vocabulary," I corrected him again and he huffed. "Sorry sorry sorry!" I held my ears before he could reply.
He glared at me before loosening his expressions and laughing, "whatever!"
"Just because you lost," I scrunched my nose and he shook his head.
"Acha, what are you doing out here?" He asked me and I sighed, looking back at the main door. "I left my clutch in Asmaara's room and I don't have the keys. So I am waiting for bhai."
"But the car is there so maybe someone is inside already?" He pointed at bhabhi's car and I shook my head. "I am not waking up bhabhi at this hour. I'll just wait for bhai. He should be finishing work soon."
"It's almost three," he looked down at his watch and frowned.
"He had to go out of town, that's why," I told him and he nodded.
"Ek... Ek baat kahoon?" He asked, reluctantly, and I eyed him to continue, "I don't like that lady."
"Who?"
"The one who was uhh... When I came over.." I knew what he was trying to say. It was about what he heard yesterday.
"Bisma bhabhi?" I asked to confirm anyway. "Yeah that lady."
I chuckled before opening my mouth but, stopped. I looked at the door and gulped. What if she hears or something?
"Let's walk?" I got up and took a few steps. Waqas followed the suit and came right beside me. I looked up and smiled when I saw him looking at me. He smiled and looked ahead.
"When bhai introduced her to the family, everyone told him that she isn't the one but, he didn't listen," I spoke, exhaling a sharp breath, "one month after the wedding, she brought him here and we lost contact with him. She gave him a choice; It was either us or her for him. Then one day he called up and asked for our parents to visit. By this time he was frustrated with bhabhi too but, shadi gudde guriyon ka khel thori hai jo yun hi tor denge. Now he regrets it and yeah, even I don't like her for that.... But, hate is a strong word."
"Stupid guy," Waqas muttered and I narrowed my eyes at him. "Hey! Don't call my brother stupid!"
"Woah ok!" He raised his hands in the air, laughing, "but seriously, kisi wajah se hi sabne roka tha na. He should have listened... After all, our families will want the best for us, right?"
"True," I agreed, "but he was in love.... Aur Kehte hein na... pyaar insaan ko andha bana deta hai."
Waqas laughed, shaking his head, and I grinned.
"What I learnt from this is that we should listen to others..... Especially our parents, no matter what," I shrugged, "I mean, their opinions sound stupid at first but there is obviously something they can see which we can't.... After a while, it works in our favour."
"Uhh yeah I guess," Waqas sighed, scratching his eyebrow, and I smiled. Yeh time bomb shant kitna cute lagta hai.
"You know how they say, listen to them not because they are right but, because they have more experience in being wrong," I added a quote I had once read somewhere.
"Hussain has that experience... He regretted meeting Noor," Waqas mumbled, making me frown. "Hussain what?"
"Malvika does too..." He added, his eyes focusing on the pavement, and my frown grew deeper. He was talking to himself.
"Waqas?" I called his name, shaking his shoulder. He jumped out of his thoughts and gave me a confused look. I frowned at him but, he slowly shook his head and I chose not to push.
I looked ahead of me and began walking again when he called my name. "Yeah?" I replied as I turned to look at him.
"Uh mujhse shaadi karogi?" He asked, and my eyes almost fell out of their sockets. "What?!" I chocked out.
"Nahi woh... Sab Ko tum achi lagti ho so... You don't have to say yes!" He panicked, maybe realising what he had just said. Suddenly everything felt so awkward as my cheeks heated up.
"Aur aap Ko?" I asked and he blinked at me, pressing his lips together. Right, he rejected you already, remember? Kaisa dumb question poocha Yaar!
"I don't know what I feel like or anything. I am confused and I just...." He paused and ran his hands across his face in circular motion, "I am sorry, just pretend that this never happened."
I stared at his face, trying to read his expressions, while he looked here and there. A loud honk made me look away and we turned to our side, only to be blinded by bhai's car's high beam. I squinted my eyes before looking away. He turned the engine off and stepped out.
"Oh hi Waqas, tum itni raat Ko...." Bhai questioned me more than Waqas.
"Bhai woh.... I didn't have the keys so I was waiting for you," I went up to him and took his briefcase from him.
"Oh," he smiled and looked at Waqas, "thanks for sacrificing your sleep for this darpok. I know she must have made you stay out here."
"What? No! I am not a darpok," I winced, scowling at him. He chuckled, messing up my hair.
"Bhai my hair Yaar!" I gasped, trying to fix them again.
"Hair?" Waqas chuckled and I frowned at him, "moo dekha hai apna? You look like a malnourished panda."
I widened my eyes at his comment and quickly tilted the side mirror of the car to see my reflection properly in it. My mascara and liner was smudged complete and the eye makeup was running down my cheek. There was some on the sides of my nose too. I must have messed it up while rubbing my eyes.
I was looking like this the whole time?!
"Why didn't you tell me this earlier?" I asked Waqas, keeping my hands on my waist. "I don't know," he shrugged, smiling.
"Jhalli," Bhai laughed, patting my hair and I rolled my eyes at both of them.
"Uhh you are here now so I am going to go," Waqas said to Bhai, "good night."
"Goodnight," Bhai replied and walked past us to open the main door.
"Good night," Waqas repeated, whispering and I awkwardly smiled, replying him. He walked past me but, something inside me wanted to stop him.
"Waqas?" I called his name and he halted right there. He turned to look at me and frowned, gesturing me to continue.
"My decision depends on my parents'."
~~~SHEHRY's POV~~~

"Your height. you are too short for me," She told me and I rolled my eyes. "You are still shorter than me."

"yeah, like an inch," She walked up to me and stood right against my frame, comparing our heights with her hand. I rolled my eyes at her, despite her cute expressions, "You are wearing heels."

She looked at me with her eyebrows raised and quickly kicked her heels off, "See, still not so tall."

"Toh problem kya hai?" I asked her and she bit her lips. She thinks she can tease me like this and get away with it. But You wish, girl.

"See, when I hug you, I have to bend a little to listen to your heart," She complained, bending to the level of my heart, and I instantly pulled her closer. "Like this?" I asked as I kept my hand on her head and made it rest on my chest.

She giggled, nodding, "Yeah!"

"Pointless," I shook my head.

"Pointless?" She frowned, "you don't know how beautiful that heartbeat sounds."

"Itni saari complaints main ek compliment?" I whispered as I locked her waist between my arms.

"Kabhi kabhi iss smile ke liye," she touched my cheeks and I realised I was smiling, "jhooth bolna parta hai."

I gasped and she instantly pushed me away. I glared at her before exhaling a sharp breath and shaking my head, "Whats next?"

She stepped backwards and frowned at the floor, as if in serious thoughts, "Your voice. Tum gaate bohot bura ho. Hussain se kuch seekh hi lete."

"I am a director and not a singer, in case you have forgotten," I reminded her, "Aur Hussain toh baccha hai.... You know who taught him the ABC of singing?"

'Nope," She shook her head like little kids do when they don't know the answers.

"Me!" I boasted, jerking my collar, and she rolled her lips between her teeth. "Liar!" She stuck her tongue out at me.

I stared at her puffed cheeks and big eyes, that roamed over my face, innocently; she looked like the most adorable thing alive. So cute, I could just hug the life out of her for the expressions she was giving my right now.

She stepped away from me and I hurriedly held her wrists, jerking her closer, "fine, I wont sing for you again, ever."

"Dekhenge," She brushed her nose against mine and pulled away, capturing her bottom lip between her teeth. I nodded, shifting my gaze to her eyes again. "Anything else that you might want to add?"

She pressed her lips together, thinking about it. I rolled my eyes at her, "Seriously Asmaara, itni problem thi nahi karni thi na shadi!"

She gasped at me before she held her ears. "Acha na sorry! You asked for them," She pouted again and this time I walked towards her. She stumbled backwards, trying to maintain distance, until the cupboard door stopped her.

I smirked when her eyes went wide upon realisation. She gasped as I leaned closer, keeping my eyes locked with her's, "what did I say about that pout?"

She looked at me, with her eyes constantly moving, and giggled. I frowned but, just then she spoke up, "and that reminds me! Your lips too!"

"You are not a good kisser at all," she kissed the tips of her index and middle fingers and then kept them on my lips. I gently kissed them and she instantly pulled them away. Smiling at me, she took the fingers closer to her lips and kissed them again.

Her every move teased me now and I could bet on anything that she could see that clearly. With That not so innocent smile and Those eyebrows which danced, teasingly, She gently swayed back and forth in her spot. Her eyes held a spark. She was giving me a childish vibe right now, teasing me, making me more and more needy of her.

I sucked in a deep breath and raised an eyebrow at her, "And how are you able to decide that? Aur kitno Ko kiss kiya hai tumne?"

There, Miss As - scratch that! - The Mrs Asmaara Shehryaar. Ab bolo?

She kept a finger on her chin and tapped it, "hmm let me count."

Had hai waise!

My eyes went wide at her comment and I held her by her waist, jerking her towards me. She released a surprised laugh and I realised what I had just done. I smirked at her when she gave me a scared look.

"Shehry don't- no!" She shrieked, pushing me away when I pressed my fingers deeper into her curves, tickling her.

"Batao na! How many?" I asked her as she ran past me and around the bed. I ran after her, blocking her way and she got on the bed, rolling over it.

"Acha sorry na! Please!" She begged as I chased her around the room, finally getting a hold of her hair.

I fisted her long brown locks and she halted right there. Gently tugging on to them, I pulled her towards me and she cried. "Nai na please, I am sorry!" She pouted, holding my hand, that was holding her hair, and I shook my head.

"What did I say about that pout, Han?" I asked and she gulped, straightening her lips. "Please jaane do?"

I slowly released her hair, not taking my eyes off her's for even a single moment. I forced a smile as I blinked in confusion, tension building up inside me with every passing tick.

"Jao."

~~~ASMAARA's POV~~~
"Jao," he whispered as he left my hair and I instantly turned away. But, before I could run, his arms wrapped around my waist again and he made me turn around. My insides churned at the closeness.
He kept walking forward and I kept stepping back but, his arms kept me fairly close to him. His eyes held all kinds of emotions, and one that shined above all was love. His eyes smiled at me as they roamed every inch of my face.
"Since I am not a good kisser and you sound so experienced, will you teach me?" He whispered, staring at my lips, and I blinked at him, gulping down my nervousness. Heat built up between us as I felt myself drowning deeper and deeper into him.
Shehry tilted his head slightly and leaned in. His nose touched mine and he stopped. "May I?" He asked this time, his breath fanning my lips. My eyes fluttered shut and I felt his cold soft lips on mine.
His movement, slow and gentle but full of passion. He stepped towards me, pushing me against the window sill, and I fisted the fabric of his Sherwaani. His hands cupped my cheeks as I slowly parted my lips, wanting more of him. My hands raised to his hair and I threaded my fingers through the silky strands, tugging onto them.
"Mmh," I moaned as he movement turned rough and urgent. He groaned against my lips before pulling away, leaving both of us breathless.
His thumb touched my lips and I looked up at him. He smiled down at it before leaning in to kiss my jaw. My hands fisted his collar again as I tried not to shiver under his touch that was now burning every inch of me.
"You shouldn't have teased me," Shehry whispered near my ear, his voice raspier than ever, making me nervous. He kissed down my jaw and nibbled onto my neck before rubbing his nose in the crook of my neck. His warm, uneven breath tickled me.
His fingers brushed along my shoulder and I gulped. "No regrets," I whispered back, trying to keep as calm as possible, though I was sure that even he could hear my heart beat.
"Ahan?" He pulled away slightly and smirked, looking right into my eyes. His eyes were a shade darker, making it hard for me to hold my gaze. I lowered my eyes and the next thing I felt were his lips on mine again, moving roughly. It was quick but full of love.
He pulled me with him and I followed the lead, stopping near a candle stand. He eyed me towards them and I bent down to blow on the candles. One by one we managed to put out twenty three candles, leaving one to burn in the far corner.
Shehry stared deep into my eyes as he held my hand and led me to the centre of the room. He jerked me towards him, wrapping his arms around me, and I gasped. My heart skipped a beat when smile appeared on his lips. I watched him silently while he raised a hand and gently caressed my cheek.
He kept staring in my eyes as bent down to pick me up. I gulped while the smiles wasn't ready to leave his lips. My arms wrapped around his neck as he walked me to the bed and slowly kept me down.
"I love you so much," He smiled, kissing the tip of my nose. I giggled, feeling a tingling sensation that ran down my spine.
"I love you too," I managed to utter before we entered our own little world where nothing else existed.
