49: Qubool Hai

Hey!

Thank you so much for #87 <3

First, read this:

I have been having a lot of requests to continue this book but, that will not happen. I appreciate your love and that's why the 3rd book is coming out for those who are still interested in the story. But, I can't continue Adhoore Hum.

I want to end it before either I lose all the readers or stop updating myself. I am not so happy with the storyline and I honestly don't see where the story is heading to. I want to end it before I screw it up completely.

Everyone who is looking for more ShehMaara, HusPreet and AtiSha moments, the other book will have it all but, not this one. :( sorry about that ....

HappyReading and COMMENT COMMENT COMMENT :D ;) :P

~~~ASMAARA's POV~~~
"Mama nai ya!" I groaned as someone pulled the curtains apart, making me squint my eyes.
"Come on lazy bum! Even I am fresh as ever!" I heard someone's voice and quickly opened my eyes.
"Soha?"
"Hey!" She giggled, "I thought if I designed your dress then why not I doll you up as well."
I awkwardly smiled at her and she sighed before sitting beside me on the bed.
"Chill yaar. It's all cool," she smiled, holding my hand but, it just wasn't cool. She has feelings for Shehry and here she is, helping me get ready.
"Are you-"
"Upset? No," she shook her head before I could even finish my sentence, "Shehry jaise hazaaron mil jaayenge mujhe. Main hoon hi itni cool."
She jerked her collar and I chuckled at her. "Why did you even stop me? You guys would have been together if you wouldn't have come over that day."
"I know. Fir Shehry Mera hota," I didn't like the way she said it. It just.... Fine, I was jealous.
"But then what? He only loves you and I can't force myself on him. Pyaar sirf haasil karna nahi hota, Asmaara. Pyaar doosron ki khatir hasna bhi sikhata hai," She smiled weakly at me, "And I am happy if he is happy."
"Thank you so much Soha," I reached out and took her cold hands in mine, "he could have never asked for a better friend."
"Asmaara, just promise me, you will never hurt him," she asked, lowly, and I nodded, "he is a gem. Never lose him or break him."
"I promise," I smiled, "he is the best thing that ever happened to me, even if I realised it late."
She nodded, looking down at our hands. she pulled her hand out of mine and quickly rubbed it across her left eye. "Go take a shower because we only have three hours to get you ready!" She announced and my eyes widened.
I frowned and looked at my phone. It was already 11am. I gasped at the time and quickly ran to take a shower. I didn't sleep last night and so I couldn't wake up on time. It's a big day today and I am so late already.
Stripping out of my clothes, I allowed the cold water to calm my body down. I washed my hair and followed my daily routine of moisturising creams before stepping out of the washroom. Roop smiled at me and I grinned after finally seeing her. We hugged but, that was interrupted by Soha. She ran here and there, trying to put together my outfit and make up as we were late already.
In no time I was sitting on the stool while these two worked their magic on me along with a make up artist. I could have done my own makeup but, Soha decided that I should just relax.
Preet came home early morning and Kashish left so she could take care of her while Hussain looks after the last minute preps. Malvika was somewhere in the house but, I didn't get a chance to talk to her. I wanted to comfort her after what happened last night but, Shehry had suggested that I should just let her be for a while until she is ready to talk to someone about this.
Someone knocked on the door and Roop went to open it. Mama and Baba came inside and smiled at me. "Mah Sha Allah, you look like a princess," Mama complimented me and Roop giggled.
"Genes ka assar hai. Aap par gayi hai," baba said as he wrapped his arm around her. Mama slapped his hand away, "makkhan lagana koi inse seekhe."
"Makkhan? Strictly no cholesterol for you, remember?" He asked and she shook her head, chuckling. "Acha, stop it now or else I'll forget why I came here for."
Mama came forward and handed me a velvet box. I carefully opened it and revealed a diamond necklace. It had a simple silver chain but a heavy centre piece with diamonds embedded into it. I gawked at it's beauty. So elegant and perfect.
"Like it?" Baba asked me. Soha bent down near my shoulder to look at it.
"Like it? I love it!" I smiled at him and got up to hug him. "Group hug without me?" Mama asked before squeezing between us.
"It's your wedding gift and you are wearing it today," baba smiled and I nodded. I sat down again and Roop exchanged the necklace that I was wearing with this one.
I felt baba's hand on one side of my head before he kissed my temple. I closed my eyes to feel this moment and lock it in my memory forever.
~~~PREET's POV~~~

"Call me once more and I'll make you sleep on the couch tonight!" I groaned in the phone when I answered Hussain's third call in the past one hour.

"I am just checking, alright," He replied defensively. I rolled my eyes at Kashish bhabhi who was smirking at me.

"Yeah well, Seher is fine, she had her milk and  she is not missing you so stop calling me," I huffed.

"You are just jealous she is the one getting my full attention now," he chuckled.

"Wha- I am not jealous!" I gasped. I could imagine him shaking his head.

"You sure are!" He teased and I groaned again. Taking a deep breath, I calmed myself down even though I could hear him laughing at me.

"Acha listen, Seher is saying ask papa to concentrate. So please decorations par dhyan de Lo. Hum milenge na two hours main!" I begged him and he sighed.

"I told Aisha what to do with the roses and make sure Shehry and Asmaara's seat is decorated with lavender and orchids. No excuses!" I added, sitting down on the bed, "I'll bring your suit and you need to fix the songs because their DJ has pretty lame songs. Oh and don't forget the gift please!"

"Hayee itna sab Kuch! When will I meet Seher then?" He asked. I chuckled, looking at Seher who was lying right next to me.

"Seher kaheen nahi jaa rahi par Shehry Ki shadi ek baar hi hogi," I said, making a kissy face at Seher when she looked at me. She was probably not looking directly at me but, how can you resist giving a kiss to such a cutie pie?

"Teen aur ho sakti hein," Hussain's voice caught my attention and I frowned, "four allowed in total."

"Haww! Thora zubaan ko lagam do... Faltu Ki bakwas," I snorted and looked down at Seher, "your daddy has gone mad."

"What haw?" He asked, "main bhi soch raha hoon ek aadhi dhoond hi loon."

"Gala na daba doon main!" I rolled my eyes again, scowling at our wedding picture that was hanging on the wall in front of me.

"Mera?"

"Nahi... Uss churail Ka!" I rolled my eyes again. Bhabhi raised an eyebrow at me and I shook my head.

Hussain started laughing at the other end, "you are too cute Preet! Acha, I am gonna go now, yeah? Love you."

"See ya," I chuckled.

"What now? Aren't you going to say it back?" He asked. I could imagine him frowning.

I looked down at Seher, "Nahi. Ab jao aur dhoond lo koi aur."

I ended the call before he could say anything and kept my phone aside. I carefully picked up Seher and placed her on my lap. My hand cupped her left cheek as I lowered my face to kiss her forehead.

"Daddy is sho silly. Hai na?"

"Daddy Nahi you both are," bhabhi commented and I grinned at her. "Pata hai!"

"Bhabhi! Look what Rafiya did. Duffer kaheen Ki!" Maha came running inside my room and sat in front of me. I looked up at her hair which were falling out of the bun that Nosh had made earlier.

"Hey chotu sha baby," she whispered to Seher and touched her lip in an attempt to make her giggle. Seher just blinked and released a soft yawn.

"Why did she do that? I am sure it was by accident," I said and Maha shook her head. "I was trying to save the washroom for Shehry bhai and she pulled me by my hair. Pagal kaheen Ki."

"Aye, don't say like that. She older than you, Maha," I frowned and she rolled her eyes. "Harkatein toh bacchon wali hein. Even Seher is more mature."

"Acha?" I chuckled and she nodded, "Chal I'll fix your hair."

"Nahi, you rest with Seher and I'll fix it," bhabhi offered and Maha got up from the bed with a grin.

"Only if you put that head piece in my hair!" She pointed her index finger at bhabhi and bhabhi smiled, getting up. "Paranda kehte hai isse angrez ki aulad."

"Yeah whatever... Abhi chalo na," she held bhabhi's hand and dragged her out with her. I grinned at the two and shook my head.

I looked down at Seher again, giving her my full attention even though she was oblivious to her surroundings right now.

"Mela pala pala baby ka pehne ga?" I asked her as I kept her down on the bed, "mumma ko pata hai!"

I rolled my eyes at my own voice. I guess this baby tone comes naturally when you are talking to one. I giggled and got off the bed to pick clothes for Seher.

I knew exactly what Hussain would love to see her in.

~~~HUSSAIN's POV~~~
"Yaar theek toh hai," Atif groaned, looking at white roses and lavender decoration.
I shook my head, "nahi hai. I have strict orders... Orchids and lavenders. Get this changed."
"Kiske strict orders?" He frowned and I gave him a look. Is it that hard to understand?
"Oh... Acha..." He stretched the words, smirking at me.
I felt a pair of eyes was watching me. I looked over at Aisha who was standing with Waqas but, he gulped and looked away. I frowned as I approached them.
"Just make sure it's orchids yaar. Please," I said to Aisha and she nodded, walking away.
I looked at Waqas who was now giving me his back. Normally he would have yelled 'joru ka gulaam,' or 'majnu' at me but, he just ignored me and continued working.
"Na galey mila, na smile ki. I think you don't like Seher," I sighed, playing with the same flowers that he was sorting out, "tujhe khushi nahi hui uske aane Ki."
He stopped and looked up at me for a second. "N-Nahi. She is really cute... I love her already," he whispered, going back to the flowers.
"Toh-"
"I am sorry Hussain," he interjected, making my frown grow deeper, "meri wajah se kal raat bohot kuch ho Gaya. I just.... I am such an idiot. You hate me and I get it."
"That's true," I retorted, "you are an idiot." He looked up at me and scowled.
"But I don't hate you. Why should I?" I asked, "my daughter is fine and healthy and so is my wife. I don't have a reason to hate you but, I am still disappointed because of your behaviour."
"Me too," he sighed, "I really thought you hated me." I sighed and threw my arm around his shoulder, taking him by surprise.
"Nahi yaar. You are my brother! I can never hate you even though you are irritating as eff at times," I rolled my eyes. He looked up at me and chuckled. His smile didn't reach his eyes.
"Did you talk to her again?" I finally asked. Waqas nodded and took a deep breath, "let's just say she is ruining three lives, Hussain."
"She is not yaar," I sighed, "love isn't everyone's priority. You can't force her. Woh karti pyaar toh aisa nahi karti na."
"Woh karti hai Hussain. I can just tell," he looked at me, irritated. He is probably just done hearing the same line again and again from her and now me.
"How can you tell? Did she say anything?" I asked.
His eyes softened as he released a loud sigh. He shook his head and looked away.
"Mohabbat ko lafson ki zaroorat nahi hoti Hussain. Yeh ehsaas dil se dil tak jaata hai."
I gulped, trying to absorb his words, and he chuckled again, "kher chorh, it's Shehry's day so any plans?"
"I don't know," I rolled my eyes, "we are all stuck here so I don't know what's happening."
"Let him be then, woh bhi kya yaad karega," Waqas chuckled and I shook my head.
"Aivein rehne do?" Atif gasped as he approached us with narrowed eyes, "Hussain's is the latest case, remember how much Shehry annoyed you? Badla nahi lena hai kya?"
"Uh yeah!" I shrieked, remembering my nikkah day, "Let's finish this off quickly and let's head home."
I scrunched my nose when I remembered how he had left no stone unturned to piss me off. Suddenly, I had an evil plan and I grinned devilishly at Atif and Waqas.
"No thanks," Waqas laughed as he raised his hands in the air, "tumhari ho chuki hai par meri shadi baki hai. Kaheen mujhse hi saare badle le liye usne toh? Na man! Keep me out of this."
He scratched his head while Atif and I laughed. I raised my hand and Atif gave me high five.
"What's so funny?" Waqas asked, frowning at us, and we shook our heads. "Rukk zara!" He warned before he lifted his leg and almost pulled out his black shoe.
~~~WAQAS' POV~~~

"Rukk Zara!" I said as I pulled my shoe off. Atif and Hussain ran for the main door, laughing. They had annoying smirks on their faces that I wanted to wipe away with my damn shoe.

I ran after them in full speed until both of them stopped and stumbled forward. While they straightened their backs, I spotted someone standing behind them with their hands covering their face. I rolled my eyes, realising that they had bumped into someone.... A girl.

"Rukko!" I yelled again as I approached them. Atif ran behind the girl and brought her forward, saving himself from me. He knew I won't just push someone away to get to him.

"It's Shehry's pay back time. See you later!" Hussain yelled before Atif slightly pushed the girl towards me and ran out. Laughing.

She stumbled forward and I held her shoulders, making sure she doesn't fall because of my idiot friends.

"What was that?" She gasped, pushing away the long black locks from her face, "mere baal!"

"Roop?" Her name came out in a mere whisper and she instantly looked up at me. She frowned at first before her eyes went wide. She instantly took a step back, making sure that my hands weren't touching her shoulders.

"Roop Se shadi kar lo."

"Roop.... She is an amazing girl."

Amazing hogi apne ghar main. Shadi Aur isse? Why did Malvika do this to me?

I clenched my fists and looked away from Roop's face before I had a chance to hurt her again. It's better if she stays away from me as everytime we meet, I end up hurting her. Every time I see her, all my anger comes back out of nowhere, I don't know why. It feels like I can let it all out on her.

"Kyun uska dil dukhane par tumhein farak parta hai?"

Sirf uska nahi, kisi ka bhi dil dukhaane par farak parta hai mujhe. Its just that she has been seeing the worse side of me more these days. Pata nahi kya sochti hogi mere bare main? hum kisi aur halat mai miley hote toh shayad dost hotey. After all, why wouldn't someone want to befriend someone like her?

"Waqas? Waqas!" Her voice pulled me out of my thought and I turned to look at her.

"Asalamualaikum!" she smiled at me.

How can she smile even after those harsh words that I used for her? After what happened when I visited her house. She looks normal. How?

They say eyes that smile the most, have cried the most. But, how can someone even have a heart to hurt someone like her?

I do. I've also hurt her when she didn't even know what it was all about. Disappointed, I sighed at my thoughts.

"W... Walaikumasalam," I stuttered, not meeting her eyes. I pressed my lips together when my eyes fell on her lips. They formed a perfect smile.

"Uh, yeh Shabir and Bilal hein," She said and turned to look behind her. Two men came forward and introduced themselves as brothers, "Yeh Anwar uncle ke khas dost ke bete hein and Asmaara's special guests."

"Ah, Shabir han!" I stepped forward and gave him a quick hug, "Rabia's husband. Pakka diya usne tumhaari baatien kar kar ke."

"Aur Shabir ne flight main mujhe," Bilal snorted and I chuckled.

"We came here to look after the arrangements so aap ghar chale jaayein," Roop said and I shook my head.

"Its my brother's wedding so everything should have a personal touch to it and I have orders and lists of things I need to check before the function starts," I told her and she slightly nodded.

"Roop!" Aisha shrieked, "I am so glad you are here, help me with the flowers please!" She came up to us and asked Roop.

"Yeah sure," Roop grinned at her and Aisha dragged her away. I released the breath that I was holding on to.

Roop se shadi? The thought itself made me shiver. kabhi sapne main bhi nahi socha tha shadi ke bare aur finally jisse karni chahi, usne kisi aur ko meri lakeeron main likhna chaha. Even if I do get married to Roop for Malvika's sake, will I be able to do justice with that relationship? Do I even deserve a girl like Roop? Malvika ki ye zidd kaheen Roop ki zindagi barbad na kar de.

Ya Allah, I know everything happens for a reason but what's the reason behind all these complications?

~~~SHEHRY'S POV~~~
I wore my sherwani and smiled at myself in the mirror. I was about to apply gel when my phone buzzed. Asmaara's name flashed on it and I took a deep breath to calm myself down before answering the call. Putting it on speaker, I kept it on the wash basin.
"Ehemm," I cleared my throat, letting her know that I was on the line now.
"Hey," She breathed from the other end. I smiled upon hearing her voice, "Hey there beautiful."
"You sound so fine," she sighed and I frowned. "Matlab?"
"Aren't you nervous?" she asked and I chuckled. "Shehryaar Asif is never nervous," I boasted. Her face appeared in front of me as I imagined her rolling those beautiful brown eyes at me.
"Liar liar, pants on fire," She retorted. I raised an eyebrow at my reflection in the mirror. I had just washed my hair yet, they looked all over the place. Bending down, I cupped some water in my hands and splashed it on my head. better.
"Honestly, I think I might faint because of all these butterflies that I can feel in my stomach but, I have to be there for you na."
"For me? No mister, I don't need you," she snorted and I rolled my eyes.
"I am sure Asmaara Anwar Khan doesn't but, there is no way I am leaving Asmaara Shehryaar Asif alone," I grinned to myself. Asmaara Shehryaar Asif.
She didn't say anything and I could feel her blushing. I smirked at my own reflection as I knew what she might be feeling right now.
"Asmaara?" I called her name. "Hmm?"
"I love you!" I told her, only to turn those red cheeks onto a shade darker, "and tonight will be awesome, I promise."
"I cant wait to see you," she giggled and I shook my head. "Me too, but for that I will have to get ready so I will have to go," I chuckled.
"Saaf saaf bolo you don't want to talk me," She retorted.
"Just one more day madam and then meri bak bak se sir dard hone lagega tumhaara," I made a face at my own reflection and heard her chuckle. "Nahi, aisa kabhi nahi hoga!"
"Yeah, we will see," I commented.
"Yup, we will.... but, bye for now. Even I have to leave for the hall."
"Armaara!" I half yelled when I heard some shuffling on the other end. "What?" She gasped, freaking out.
"Bolo gi nahi?"
"Kya?"
"Come on, even I said it today." she chuckled on the other end and I figured she knew what I was talking about.
"Baki din jo satate ho uska kya?" she asked, making my jaw drop. "So? I payed for it by confessing my feeling in front of everyone."
"So what?" she tried sounding like she was not interested but, I could feel her smile.
I smirked to myself as an idea popped up in my mind, "Fine, so that means you will be having the mic in your hands tonight? no problem... I will let Hussain know."
She gasped and I raised my eyebrows in amusement, "Fine! I love you but don't you dare bring that mic near me!"
I made a kissy sound before a chuckle escaped from my lips, "Don't worry. I will do the honours because I know how much you loved that speech."
"You are so annoying," she winced and I could instantly imagine a pout on those lips.
"Don't pout or else I'll kiss it tonight!" I blurted absentmindedly and earned a gasp.
"Haw. Main phone rakh rahi hoon. bye!" she quickly said and I heard the shuffling again.
"Asmaara wait!" I yelled again and she sighed.
"I knew it! Ab kya hai?"
"You know me so well, nahi?" I giggle, "Acha I was just saying that I love you!"
"I love you too!" She giggled and ended the call. I took a deep breath, smiling at my reflection.
"Sadke Jawan!" someone laughed behind me and I gasped, startled by their voice. Hussain and Atif stood by the doorframe, smirking at me.
"Tum log?" I blurted as my jaw dropped.
"Hum log!" They replied in unison and I rolled my eyes. They widened when I realised they were listening to my conversation.
"Kab Se ho yahaan?" I asked them and they exchanged looks. Atif turned to me and grinned, "bas kissssss tak bat pohchi hi thi."
"Saaley!" I groaned as I smacked his head. He punched my torso but, before I could hit him back, Hussain pushed me away.
"Woah man! Save your breath for tonight." He smirked at me and I rolled my eyes again, "Waise bhi thori dayr main rukne hi wali hein."
"Hein?" I frowned and he wrapped his arm around my shoulders. "Kyun? Asmaara ko dekh kar iss dil ke totey (parrot) nahi urdeinge?"
"Totey, haathi, shair; Sab urd jaayeinge," I muttered, rolling my eyes and he chuckle. "Trust me bro, I know the feeling!"
"We know it's your special day so we brought he something special. Thank God you haven't gelled your hair yet," he shook his head and stepped away.
I frowned as Atif stepped forward and passed me a new jar of gel. I smiled, shaking my head, "iski kya zaroorat Thi? I already have mine."
"Zaroorat Thi. This is from us," he grinned and I accepted it. "Do your hair quick and show us how it looks."
"Cool," I mumbled and Hussain snatched the jar out of my hand. He quickly opened it for my and gave it back. "Here... Do it quick."
I frowned at him while he smiled weirdly. Shaking my thoughts away, I inserted two fingers in the jelly substance and scooped some out. It smelled like mint for some reason as I placed it on my palm and rubbed it. Hussain and Atif stared at me like idiots the whole time.
"You want me to pay you for this?" I asked and they both shook their heads as no. "Toh khare kyu ho? Go!"
"Ok."
"Ok."
They turned around to leave and I shook my head as I rubbed my palms together before bringing them to my hair. I kept rubbing the gel in my hair but the colour didn't go away. After a while I decided that I might have taken out too much so I washed my hands and began fixing my hair again.
"Ho Gaya?" Hussain called and I groaned. "Dude what brand is this? It smells so strange and now it won't—"
Hold on!
I grabbed the bottle and inhaled the minty smell of it before touching the white gel with my pinky finger. I closed one eyes as I risked bring the finger closer to my mouth to taste it.
Toothpaste!
"Hussain! Atif!" I shouted and heard their screams. Dropping the jar in the sink, I ran out of the washroom and saw them stumbling out of my room. Within a second, the were running as I chased them around the house.
"It was Hussain's idea. Mumma swear!" Atif yelled in his defence and I ran after Hussain. He jumped over the couch and ran behind mama. I ran around it to catch him but mama kept a hand on my chest to stop me.
"Araam se araam se!" She yelled. I stopped and scowled at Hussain. "What happened Shehry?" She asked me.
"Look at this," I pointed at my hair, "he mixed toothpaste in my hair gel!" Mama closely examined it and snickered. I watched her with my jaw dropped while she took her time to silently laugh at me. Hussain stuck his tongue out at me and I quickly whacked his head.
"Sorry sorry sorry," she sighed and turned around. She held Hussain's ear and twisted it.
"Oww!" He howled as she made him come forward. "Kya hai yeh Hussain?"
I smirked at him as she twisted his ear more. He looked up at me while trying to free his ear, "toothpaste with cornflour hai."
"Recording Ki?" She asked him and my eyes widened at her. Hussain shook his head and she slapped his back, "ghadda!"
"Maa!" I gasped at her. She was taking his side!
"What maa?" Dad asked, keeping his hand on my shoulder, "beta ji this is called jaisi karni waisi bharni!"
"Yeah bro! Remember what you did to Hussain?" Atif asked and Hussain made a face, probably remembering that day.
A laugh escaped from my lips when I remembered his wedding day. I had added flour to his hairdryer and when he turned it on to dry his hair, he ended up having runny dough all over his hair, face and chest. Even after washing his head, he had to pick out some dry bits during his Nikkah.
"Whatever," I muttered, stepping away. Hussain made a kissy face at me and I scowled at him.
Mama came forward and pinched my chin, "you still look handsome. We don't mind if you attend your nikkah like this but, think about Asmaara. Woh darr jayegi beta."
"Maaah!" I winced at her while she chuckled. Dad gave hussain a high five as everyone laughed at me.
"Go take a shower and come out, quick! We are already so late!" She said and I sighed.
"I'll get back to you!" I told Hussain before I ran back to my room.
~~~ASMAARA's POV~~~

I kept playing with the rings in my fingers as I paced back and forth in the dressing room. My heart was beating fast due to the nervousness and my hands felt cold.

"Larke wale aa gaye!" Rabia came running in the room and I instantly halted myself. It's time.

"He is looking damn hot in his dark red and golden shervaani," she sighed, keeping a hand on her heart. She remembers she is married and pregnant, right?

"Toh keh do dulhe miyaan se yeh dulhan bhi kuch kam nahi hai," Soha said, smiling at me, "aaj uske hosh na urda diye toh naam badal dena."

"The name is changing anyway," Malvika commented. She came forward and pushed my shoulder with her's, "Hone wali Mrs Shehryaar Asif!"

I bit my inner cheeks, trying my best not to blush but, I couldn't help the smile that made its way to my lips.

The room's door sprung open again, leaving me startled. Preet walked in with Seher in her arms and I grinned at the two.

"Look at you!" She gasped at me and I shook my head. "No, look at you mummy ji!"

She grinned before giving me a quick hug and I took Seher from her, "hey there princess. How are you?"

I gently rocked her in my arms while she blinked at me. Holding her, somewhat calmed me down and I released a sigh of Relief, taking my mind off the event. She made a few noises before her face changed and she frowned at me. All of a sudden she started crying, making me panic again.

"No no no! Please don't cry!" I begged her and Preet giggled as she took her from me. "She is probably hungry. I'll feed her but, you need to go. They are calling you outside."

What? Me..... Already?

I took a deep breath and looked at the girls standing behind Preet. They gave me a reassuring smile and I nodded at them. Rabia came and held my arm.

"You will be fine. Just think about all the amazing moments you will be spending with him after today," she whispered with a genuine smile on her lips and I gulped. I nodded at her even though I was on the verge exploding.

Rabia and Soha walked me outside and mama came beside me. She smiled at me before placing the tips of her fingers on my chin and then kissing them. Her eyes teared up as I blinked my own. Baba smiled at me from a distance as I walked up to the stage and sat on my seat.

They pulled a red sheer curtain between us, separating men and women as imaam sahb began the ceremony. I fiddle with my fingers as I impatiently waited for him to ask Shehry the question we have been waiting for.

"Shehryaar Asif wald Muhammad Asif, kya aapko Asmaara Anwar Khan wald Anwar Khan ke saath Nikah qubool hai?" Imaam's words reached my ears and I instantly bit my lips, impatiently waiting for him to speak up. Rabia squeezed my hand upon noticing my nervousness and I looked up at her with a faint smile on my lips.

"Qubool hai," the moment he said those two words my lips parted as I released the breath, that I was holding on to. So simple yet so powerful.

"Kya aap Ko qubool Hai?"

"Qubool hai." I blinked away the moisture in my eyes as the Imaam repeated his question.

"Kya aap Ko qubool hai?"

"Qubool hai." I could sense the smile in his voice.

I curled my fingers around Rabia's hand as I knew it was my turn now. I could feel all the eyes were on me.

"Asmaara Khan wald Anwar khan," the Imaam spoke again and I held my breath, "kya aapko Shehryaar Asif wald Muhammad Asif ke saath ba-haq meher 15 lakh jo ke teh paya hai, Nikah qubool hai?"

I took a deep breath to calm myself. Even though there was a curtain between us, I could still feel his eyes were watching me intensely.

"Qubool hai," I whispered as a smile made its way to my lips.

"Kya aap Ko qubool Hai?" He asked again and I slightly nodded, absentmindedly.

"Qubool hai."

Har qadam tumhaare saath chalna qubool hai. Zindagi bhar Khud se zyada tumse pyaar karna qubool hai.

"Kya aap Ko qubool Hai?"

I know my love in front of yours is nothing. No one can be as selfless as you are. No one can be as caring as you are. No one can be so patient with someone as you have been with me. I may not be able to do justice with your love, ever.

Par khud Se pehle apni har Duaa main tumhaari khushiyaan maangna qubool hai. Zindagi bhar tumse pyaar karna qubool hai. Mujhe Mrs Shehryaar Asif banna qubool hai.

"Qubool hai."

A tear rolled down my eyes as the hall roared with cheerful gasps. Rabia threw her arms around me and I pressed my lips together to stop myself from tearing up.

I stood up and smiled at mama. She came forward with baba and hugged me. Cupping my cheeks, she smiled, "Allah tum dono Ko bohot saari khushiyaan ata farmaaye. Tum dono hamesha khush raho."

"Ameen," baba caressed my hair and I hugged him, keeping my head on his chest.

Shehry's parents came towards us and baba pulled away. Ami engulfed me in a hug while dad patted my head.

"Welcome to the family!" Ami smiled at me.

"May Allah bless you both with a long happy married life," dad said. I bit the insides of my cheeks to stop the heat that was emitting from them.

"Hamein bhi bhabhi se milna hai!" Maha rushed through the crowd with Hussain. She left his hand the moment she laid her gaze upon me and ran to hug me.

"Congratulations!" She chirped and I hugged her back. "Thank you Maha!"

"You are officially my bhabhi now, Haan," Hussain grinned and I smiled, shaking my head.

"Hello Mrs. Asmaara Shehryaar Asif," Aisha winked at me. "Well, hello to you too Mrs Aisha Atif Khan."

"Waise kaisa lag raha hai?" Waqas smirked at me and I rolled my eyes. "Jaisa lagna chahiye."

"Matlab dil main laddoo phooting?" He asked. I grinned and chose not to answer. Laddoo, jalebi, pizza, burger, everything phooting!

"Where is Preet?" I asked Hussain and he frowned, looking around. "I think She is feeding Seher."

"Phir Se?" I blurted, frowning.

"Pata kaise chale ga Ki Preet ki beti hai," Waqas commented and earned a punch from Hussain.

"Oww!" He howled while everyone else laughed.

~~~SHEHRY's POV~~~
"Qubool Hai," she whispered the third time and I closed my eyes, releasing the breath that I was holding on to. Three years. Three years I have waited for this.
I bit my bottom lip as a strange kind of feeling too over me. I am now married to the girl I have wished to spend my life with every single day after I met her. She is not Asmaara Anwar Khan anymore. She is Asmaara Shehryaar Asif. She is mine. My wife. And I am her's. Forever.
"Congrats!" Atif whispered to me and I opened my eyes again, "may Allah bless you with all the happiness in the world."
"Ameen," I smiled at him before I stood up.
"I am so happy for you!" Dad came forward and hugged me. "Thanks dad!" I said and got a slap from him.
"Apne baap Ko thank you bolega, besharam!" He spoke, faking anger, and I held my earlobes.
"Sorry!" I grinned cheekily at him and he chuckled.
Mama came forward and hugged me. I hugged her back before she pulled away and cupped my cheeks, "tum dono khush raho aur Allah tumhein-"
"Bohot saare bacche de!" Hussain interjected and she gasped. He came forward and winked at me but, soon enough, she turned around and slapped his cheek, making him groan.
"You are a father yourself now. Grow up Hussain!"
"Maa!" He winced rubbing his cheek, "I keep telling this to Preet also, I am over six feet now. How much more do you want me to grow?"
"Shehry, isse tum hi sambhalo. I'll go and meet Asmaara," mama shook her head and walked away.
I was about to hug Hussain when he stopped me by putting his hand on my chest, "pehle bata maare ga toh nahi?"
I frowned at him before chuckling, "nahi. Now come here." I hugged him and he sighed, "waise, Seher really need some company very soon."
I giggled as we pulled away. Soha came forward and hugged me, "God! I am so happy for you Shehryaar!"
I pulled away and searched her face, "are you?"
She blinked at me before shaking her head, "honestly, it hurts but, I know Allah has a better plan for me. I'll be fine! Don't worry about it."
She smiled up at me and I shook my head, "I am sorry!"
"Tch, don't be Dulhe Raja! Come lets meet Asmaara," she held my wrist and dragged me to meet Asmaara.
My Asmaara. My wife...... My life.
*~*~*~*
Hello people!
How was the update?
I was so busy to even think about updating and in all the free time, I was busy reading INTOL so I couldn't update earlier /.\
I asked a lot of friends about the whole wedding thing and I even googled it. EVERYONE had their own version >.<
I am sorry if anything wasn't right here... At least I tried /.\
But Do let me know if there are errors and I'll work on them :)
A steamy chap coming up ;) ....... I think /.\
OH AND! I uploaded Bezubaan Ishq 2 days ago. It's a Hussain Asif book too. Add it to your libraries if you like. It will start after HumNava so hopefully around December or early January. :)
Love Always <3
