Brief Recap::
Rabia and Malvika came. Things worked out between Rishab and Atif. Shehry and Asmaara's mehndi. He goes to see her after the ceremony......

~~~ASMAARA's POV~~~
Shehry: Morning Sunshine!
I read the text once I had washed my hands. A smile made its way to my lips as I typed a quick reply. He had sent this message at 5 in the morning so I could wake up to this. He is such a sweetheart.
Within a few seconds of sending a reply, my phone buzzed. But, This time it was a call.
"Hey," Shehry sighed from the other end and I smiled, hearing his voice. "Hey!"
"Nervous?" He asked. "Very," I grinned. I was happy and nervous at the same time.
"Why are you whispering?" I asked him.
"Oh yaar, my cousins came. Chup chup ke baat karni par rahi hai. Peeche hi par gaye hein saale," he groaned, sounding annoyed, and I laughed.
"Hans mat!" I could imagine him making a face.
I turned over and lied on my stomach, "main toh hansungi.. Woh bhi daant phad ke."
I heard him sigh which made me frown. "Aye, what happened?"
"It's just.... It's only 10am yaar. Why can't we just fast forward all these boring hours and meet again?" He complained. I missed him too.
"It's real life and not some movie jo fast forward ho jayegi," I giggled.
"Aah!" He sighed again, "Wait for a few days and you would want to live it in slow motion with me."
I smiled to myself and bit my lip. It only led the smile to grow wider.
"You there?" He asked.
"Hmm."
I heard him release a sigh and everything fell quiet. We enjoyed this silence, just listening to each others' breathing, until someone barged in my room. I quickly sat up but failed to hide my phone in time.
"Look at this girl!" Mama huffed, walking towards me, "everyone is waiting for you to come out and here you are, on your phone!"
"Oh ho Aunty! Dekhein zara, she was talking to someone on the phone," Rabia quipped and I gestured her to shut up. She smirked at me instead and pulled the phone out of my hand, "inke hone wale woh hein."
"Kabhi hum se bhi baat kar liya karein," she said, putting the phone on the speaker. "H-hey, Rabia ji," Shehry replied, putting more emphasis on 'ji.' I could sense the awkwardness in his voice.
"Hi, Shehry Ji," Rabia said, winking at me, and I rubbed my temple, "I know You can't wait but, at least leave my best friend alone for a day? Mujhe bhi iske saath time spend karna hai."
"Ji zaroor. She is all yours.... I guess," he said through the loud speaker and Rabia raised an eyebrow at me.
"Yeah, she is all mine. I guess I'll take her back to New Zealand with me."
"O nai oye-- I mean.. I mean yeah whate-" Rabia laughed, cutting his sentence and I grinned.
"Chalo, stop annoying him. Bhag ab yahaan Se," mama scolded Rabia before taking the phone from her. She held her ears when mama playfully smacked her head.
Pressing the phone against her ear, she spoke, "I have sent your outfit for tonight. I hope you like it."
A smile played on her lips the whole time she was talking to him. "Haan, see you in the evening. Allah Hafiz."
She disconnected the call and kept the phone back on the bed, "bohot hi pyaara bacha hai... I am proud of your choice." Her comment made me smile. I am proud of my decision for the first time in life too.
Mama coughed and I looked at her in concern, "did you take your medicines?"
She chuckled and walked up to the door, "oh stop acting like your dad, I am fine."
"But mama-"
"Acha I'll take them now, stop worrying now," she said before walking out of the room. I frowned at the door but then I shook my head.
"Mehendi dikhao!" Rabia squealed, diverting my attention. I grinned at her while she examined my beautifully painted hands. "Mah Shah Allah, it's so beautiful and dark!"
"Bara pyaar karte hein tumse tumhaare hone wale woh," she winked at me, hitting my shoulder with hers'. I rolled my eyes at her cheesy comment.
"Kya 'woh- woh'? He has a name- 'Shehry'," I told her.
"Haan-haan pata hai. Shehryaar tera pyaar," she smirked at me before shaking her head, "OK bad one, I know!"
"Yeah.. Ugh!" I made a straight face at her before we both burst into laughter.
But, one thing that it reminded me of was how he left me hanging last night. Mujh se panga liya tha na! Aaj raat ko dikhati hoon Mr Shehryaar Asif.
~~~WAQAS' POV~~~

I stuffed a morsel of cheese omelet in my mouth before turning to Aisha, "so when are you guys planning to shift?"

"Maybe in a month or so, it won't be a big move for us since we lived in New York before Mumbai but, still, Atif will need to shift everything here," she sighed, taking the bread out of the toaster, "I don't know how he will manage his business."

"I wish people weren't that narrow minded," I told her blankly, feeling bad about their situation.

"I just... I don't know, We don't want Rishab to face all the questions and curious eyes when he grows up.. Like in school," she shrugged her shoulders, "aaj nahi toh kal log usse sawal karenge.. About his family... About his religion. I don't want him to go through that."

"Yeah, I get it," I nodded. They will be moving to New York again very soon as Atif and Aisha don't want Rishab's past to affect his present and future. Doesn't matter where they live, there will always be people who would whisper behind their back and point fingers.

"Chalo it's breakfast time!" Suddenly Atif's voice echoed in the kitchen as he came down stairs with Rishab on his shoulders.

"Sala chipka ke ghoomega ab," I chuckled, shaking my head.

"I have been dying to see this," Aisha smiled beside me and I gave her a nod.

"Breakfast is ready," she announced, walking up to Atif, and took Rishab off his shoulder, "babu egg khayega?"

"Yeah, mere saath khayega," Atif pulled him out of her grip again and I snickered, trying not to ruin their moment.

Roop! God knows what she did?

"Magic!" I remember her telling me. I chuckled at my own thoughts and gulped down the last bite just before the door bell rang.

"I'll get it," I told Aisha, who was about to walk up to the door, and quickly washed my hands. Going through the kitchen, I opened the main door that was just down the corridor.

"Mor...rrning," madam ka naam liya aur yeh hazir.

Roop stood in front of me and I saw her enthusiasm draining out of her body. Maybe she didn't like me anymore? Maybe she felt uncomfortable around me after last night?

After I asked Nosh, I found out that Roop has no clue about what is going on in Nosh's head. But, now she is so eager to announce her stupid idea in front of our parents. Damn, Roop and I- we are never happening.

"Side ho!" I heard Nosh's voice before I was pushed to the corner, "let her in."

"Yeah," I said lowly and turned around to leave.

"You are looking so pretty, no wonder he was staring at you like an idiot," I heard Nosh's whisper and my jaw dropped. Do bacho ki ma ho gayi hai aur kaam chittar khane wale!

"Excuse me?" I chocked, as I turned to face her. Nosh smirked at me while Roop stared at me with an innocent expression on her face. I chose to drop the conversation and went back to the kitchen.

Not so much to my surprise, the two ladies followed behind me. Aisha jumped to her feet and hugged Roop while I rolled my eyes and sat beside Rishab and Atif. I missed Manik.

"Just let me know if it fits perfectly or not and I think this necklace will look perfect with this dress," I heard Roop's voice again and my eyes involuntarily raise in her direction.

"Yeah! Thanks! Even I picked a set for you. The dress you bought, it would look amazing with it," Nosh and Roop literally talked like high school girls. Ugh.

Why am I even listening?

"Naah I think I'll skip it," Roop said. Good, do that and save me from Nosh's evil and irritating smirks.

"Oh what? Why? No, you promised me! You are coming and I am not taking no as an answer," Nosh insisted and I sighed. I watched the two while Nosh constantly tried convincing Roop.

Roop stole a glance in my direction before finally giving up. Nosh smiled and engulfed her in a visibly bone crushing hug while I rolled my eyes.

Why do I even care if she comes or not? I'll maintain my distance and make sure that Nosh doesn't get anything that she can use against me while talking to our parents about Roop. I hope they will see that I am not interested in spending my life with this girl and save me the embarrassment that I'll have to face while rejecting her.

Goddamnit!

~~~HUSSAIN's POV~~~
"Hey cheesecake," I kissed Preet's temple as I entered our room.
"Stop reminding me of things you won't let me eat!" She groaned pushing me away. She held a dress in her hands and I frowned. Ab Yeh bhi choti ho gayi kya?
"What's up?" I asked her anyway and she glared at me before releasing a sigh. "It just looks ugly."
"What? Come on, nothing can look bad on you," I told her. She looks perfect in literally anything and everything.
"I don't know, bhabhi is going to fix it," she sighed, throwing the dress on the bed, "I picked your outfit for tonight and You have to pick up the Rings, dad left a cheque in his study. I called up and they said it should be ready by four. Don't forget the gifts please! There is still one left to wrap! Oh and-"
"Easy woman!" I chuckled, stopping her from running out of breath, "I'll manage everything. Don't worry and just relax."
"Kaise relax? My best friend is getting married! Shehry is getting married! I was supposed to be helping out on both sides but what am I doing? Sitting in my room," Preet was almost yelling at me. I could see how restless she was. She stood up all of a sudden but, instantly held my arm.
"Aram Se," I told her, holding her by her shoulders, "you need to calm down."
She rolled her eyes back and took in a deep breath, "I am fine."
Rubbing her shoulders gently, I made her sit on the bed and then knelt down in front of her, "I'll take care of everything, yeah? Just relax."
"Uh I feel useless," she whispered, looking exhausted all of a sudden. I held her hands in mine and smiled at her, "no, you are not useless. You have done enough already. Now please give my peekachu some rest... Yeah?"
She looked up at me as a smile made its way to her lips, "get me some cheesecake then."
"Yaar ek toh yeh demands khatam nahi hoti," I groaned, shaking my head.
Preet gasped and smacked my shoulder, "what? now You are going to starve your peekachu?"
I looks up at her and she pouted at me, mouthing 'please' like a little girl would. Something Maha would do when she was a baby. I rolled my eyes when I couldn't hold back my chuckle.
"I am never wining at this, am I?" I asked.
"Never." She giggled, pulling my cheek. I failed to move back in time.
"Ah I so hate you for this!" I groaned, rubbing my cheek.
"I love you too!" She laughed, making me smile. I could just sit there and listen to her repeat those three words all day long.
"I love you both."
~~~SHEHRY's POV~~~

Putting on my watch, I gelled my hair as usual and stood still in front of the mirror for a few seconds. I took a deep breath and finally applied my favourite perfume. It was just right for the occasion.

"Don't be so nervous, tu aaj nahi - do din baad shaheed hone Wala hai," Hussain's voice startled me and I quickly turned to face the door. He was leaning against the door frame with Waqas beside him.

"Shadi hai meri. I am not going on a war," I commented, moving towards the bed. I picked up my blazer and slipped my arms into it.

"Yeah, you are going to eat that laddoo! Abhi excited hai aur khane ke baad pachtayega," Waqas commented, patting my shoulder and I rolled my eyes. "I am not going to regret it."

"Woah man! I am telling you to back off already! Time hai beta- bhag Le," Atif chuckled, giving Hussain a hi five.

"What are you eating?" Hussain moved towards Preet who had a plate in her hand like always and I shook my head, "fir se mithai?"

"Aur tum, are you regretting this laddoo of your's? Huh?" Aisha slapped Atif's shoulder, narrowing her eyes at him.

"See this now?" Waqas asked me, "tera bhi yeh hi hone Wala hai!"

"Kameeno dara kyu rahe ho?" I chuckled at them.

"Waqas Ka bhi!" Preet yelled from behind and threw a punch at hussain. He snatched her plate after all. That's all they do all the time. Sometimes I think Hussain took a break from work so he could snatch the plates away from her and keep an eye on her diet.

"Oh hello madam, keep me out of this shadi crap!" Waqas winced and all of us chuckled.

"Why are you so against getting married?" Preet asked him and he rolled his eyes. He wasn't looking at her and had his back towards her.

"I am not against it. I am just waiting for her... Woh haan kare toh Atif ki tarhan pitne ko bhi taiyaar hoon," he sighed, "aur woh toh bhagti rehti hai bas."

Aisha gasped, "maine kab peeta Atif ko?"

"Haan toh bhagna hi tha usne. Thora wait kar lete," Preet muttered, "Hamne kaha tha Emran Hashmi banne ke liye?"

A collective wave of gasp was heard before Everyone turned to Preet.

"I didn't say anything," Preet whispered, staring at us in horror.

"Preet!" Aisha gasped just before Atif got punched.

"Saley saare raaz khol de!" Waqas yelled at him, fisting his own hair.

"I didn't know she would tell!" Atif said in his defence and Aisha stuck her tongue out, biting on it to hold back her laugh.

"Woh larki hai! Inke pait main koi baat nahi tikti!" Waqas groaned which made Preet gasp. "What the-! It's not like..... Acha whatever."

I guess she realised her previous comment supported Waqas enough already.

"Acha ok bas!" I yelled finally, "it stays between us now. No one will talk about it, yeah?"

"Yeah," they all replied together and I smiled.

"Let's go- we are getting late."

That's when they all targeted me again.

~~~ROOP's POV~~~
"Gorgeous," I commented as I draped the veil over Asmaara's head. "Thanks," she smiled, looking at me through the mirror.
"Don't be," I smiled back at her and stepped aside so her mother could see. She carefully hugged Asmaara and kissed her forehead.
She wore a white, pink and golden outfit. The top part was white with golden net and embroidery while the skirt had a pink under layer and golden net on the top. The sleeves where made out of net fabric too and matched with the perfect golden border at the bottom of the dress. This dress was one hell of a master piece.
I chose to give them some privacy and walked out of the room. Shehry and his family were already here and everyone was waiting for Asmaara to come out.
I smiled when I saw Preet and gave her a side hug.
Preet wore a rather light outfit; it wasn't too caked up with embroidery. I guess she figured she won't be able to carry all that weight around. It was a simple blue dress with three shades of blue in its skirt. The fabric used for the top part had brown and blue patterns on them. The full sleeves also stood out. She wore a simple outfit yet, she looked perfect.
"You look gorgeous," I told her and she grinned. "Thanks to bhabhi who fixed the dress at the last moment."
"You look amazing yourself," she smiled at my yellow dress and mouthed 'thank you.'
"Oye Preet- hey Roop! Can I please steal her from you for a second?" Hussain came up and asked me. I nodded, smiling, "tumhaari hi hai.. Le jao."
"Gee thanks!" He chuckled before they walked away.
I wrapped my arms around myself and stood in a corner. Everyone knew each other here while I was just tagging along because Nosh asked me to. I felt like an outsider.
"Ya coming," I heard Waqas' voice before someone bumped into me.
"Aah," I yelped as I tried to gain my balance. I looked to my right where the guy, who had bumped in to me, was stumbling backwards. Keeping my hand on his back, I made sure he didn't fall on me.
"Shit," he mumbled, turning around. His eyes were glued to his own blazer as he pulled the ends together.
Mr Ajnabi.
"Sorry about- tum!" His eyes raised to look at me with a rather annoyed expression on his face, "of course it had to be you."
I frowned at his words while he mockingly chuckled at me.
"Andhi ho?" He asked suddenly and I raised an eyebrow. "Excuse me, you bumped into me. Aap aaye the ulte chalte hue."
"Exactly, I had my back towards you but you could see me. Hatt jaati raaste se. Har jagah ghusna hota hai tumhe," he jeered at me before walking out through the main door. I stared at his back, unable to comprehend what he had just said.
I snorted before following him outside. What does he think of himself. Why is he always acting so rude? Even last night.
"Aapki problem kya hai?" I asked the moment I reached his car. Waqas was pulling out the gifts from the boot. He stood up straight and raised his eyebrow at me.
"Excuse me?" He asked like he didn't know what I was talking about while I was standing here, feeling hurt.
"Why do you have to be so rude all the time. What have I done to you?" I asked him and he shook his head, turning his attention towards the gifts again. He pulled out the boxes and closed the boot.
"We don't even know each other properly but, you are always acting like this around me... All the time."
"Exactly! We don't know each other but you are all over my family. You-" he turned around to face me and paused for a moment, "just stop crying, will you?"
I batted my eyelids. I didn't realise when a drop of tear escaped from my eyes. I was hurt right now and I hated myself for that. I have always been the weak one even amongst my siblings too. It's so easy for me to cry out of nowhere.
"Just- why do you even care? You should be happy that your words actually hurt me," I told him, "that's what you wanted, right?"
Waqas sighed running a hand through his hair. He took a step towards me and I took two back, but he held my wrist and jerked me towards him. I gasped as my eyes raised to look at him. A shiver ran down my spine when I felt his thumb brushing along my cheek.
"I don't care," he whispered, looking into my eyes, "your presence bugs me all the time. Especially in my family function because you aren't one of us aur kabhi ban bhi nahi sakti."
He had a weird frown on his face while I stared at him in a shock. He walked past me, leaving me to feel even worse about myself. He just made sure that I knew I wasn't supposed to be here tonight.
Fine then.
~~~MALVIKA's POV~~~

I stared out of my window, watching Waqas and Roop standing in the drive way. They were so uncomfortably close. He touched her face and I felt weird. Annoyed; you could say.

"See, they look perfect together," Nosh whispered in my ear and I turned to look at her, "and Waqas just won't agree."

"What do you want from me?" I asked, looking at her, confused.

"I know it's only you who can change his 'no' to a 'yes'," she sighed. I gulped, not wanting to hear the rest.

Nosh brought me here to talk about Roop and Waqas and we ended up seeing them just below my window. It wasn't until now when I realised what this talk was going to be about.

"Roop is an amazing girl. I am sure she will keep my brother happy," Nosh's voice caught my attention again, "can I ask you for a favour, please?"

I swallowed hard before nodding at her. "I know he will listen to you... Please Waqas ko mana lo iss rishte ke liye."

"What? How can I? Why would he-"

"He will listen to you- you are his friend, Malvika," She said and I felt the urge of shaking my head, "I would have asked the boys but they are already so busy in their lives.... Please yaar?"

"I know my parents would love her and I know she is just perfect for him. Just the right girl," Nosh continued praising Roop and I forced a smile. I haven't exactly had an introduction with this girl but she seemed very sweet last night. I love her for what she did for Aisha.

"Will you help me?" Nosh asked again and I nodded. "Ahh! I owe you one for this!" She squealed, giving me a hug. I hugged her back.

If only she knew.

~~~SHEHRY's POV~~~
Mama squeezed my shoulder, smiling at me warmly. I mirrored that smile even though I was nervous as hell. Finally the room's door opened and Asmaara walked out, looking as perfect as always. I gawked at how amazing she looked in the dress Soha had designed under my supervision. I knew exactly what I wanted on it.
I felt a slight push on my shoulder and I looked up at dad who stood behind me. He gestured me to walk ahead. I tried to act cool but, he knew me better so, I just gave him a smile and went up to Asmaara.
Nearing her, I realised how she hardly wore any makeup and yet she looked like the most amazing thing in this world. She gave me a nervous smile when I offered her my had. She looked around us first before placing her hand on mine. I curled my fingers around her tiny ones and gently pulled her with me. Everyone hooted and threw flower petals at us as we walked towards the swing where we are supposed to be sitting tonight.
Our mothers came up to us first, smiling. While I tried my best to smile at them, Asmaara struggled to free her hand from mine. I was still holding it firmly.
"Bohot pyaari lag rahi ho," mom said to Asmaara and she smiled up at her. "Thanks ami," Asmaara said, giving mom a hug.
I grinned to myself, realising that it was her first time using that word for my mother.
"Khush raho," mom whispered to her while she patted my cheek.
People came up and congratulated us while we smiled and thanked them, repeating the same words again and again. There were mostly my close relatives as we chose not to invite any distant family. We are planning on doing the Walima ceremony in Pakistan for all the relatives living there. This way we even got some privacy from the nosy media.
"You look stunning," I whispered to Asmaara once we were alone. "We are not talking," she whispered back and I frowned.
"Why? What happened now?" I asked, "you were fine this morning."
"You get what you give," she said blankly and I raised an eyebrow. "And what have I done to get this from you?"
"You left last night," she shrugged and I almost laughed. That's why!
"Ohh," I gave her a short reply and her head snapped in my direction. "This 'oh' won't help mister!"
"Then what do you want me to do?" I asked her and she gave me a sarcastic smile. "Tell me you love me."
"But you know I do!" I told her, making a face. "Say it or-"
"Or?"
"Or you can go. Mujhe tumse shadi karne main koi interest nahi hai," she moved her shoulder like she was flicking her hair.
"Attitude Hun?"
"Whatever."
"Fine, princess."
At first I thought I should irritate her by ignoring her until she gives up herself but, then I thought of a better way.
"Excuse me everyone!" I called out and everyone slowly began turning towards me.
"Shehry, not like this," Asmaara hissed in a whispering tone behind me. Maybe she figured out what I was up to.
I looked at all the curious pairs of eyes and gulped. Maybe this wasn't such an amazing idea after all. But, ab toh hum bhi peeche hatne walo main se nahi hein.
"Uh.. I wanted to thank you all for being here tonight," I began and saw dad smiling at baba, "I thought since its our engagement, I would take a moment and tell this angel right here how much she means to me." I looked behind me and saw Asmaara. A dark shade of red looked cute on her cheeks.
"Ho gaya shuru," I heard Hussain's chuckle. "Shut up," Preet groaned. I shook my head at their voices.
"It's not that I have never told you this before," I said, looking at Asmaara. I held her gaze for a few seconds before turning to look at our parents, "but, tonight, when our parents' blessings are with us, I want to tell you this again in front every single person who matters in my life."
"I fell in love with you the very moment I first saw you. Your smile, your eyes, your voice... I can't begin to explain how much everything about you affects me," I went closer to her and held her hand. She shivered slightly and I held back my chuckle. You asked for it.
"Asmaara, I am in love with you. Ishq ho Gaya hai tumse," I said, my voice getting lower and lower. It was something I just wanted her to know, "tumhaari hansi Se, tumhaari aankho se.. Baaton se .... Itna ki ab tumhe iss duniya se chura kar, kaheen chupa kar rakhna chahta hoon."
"Shehry-"
"Shh.. Just listen to me," I told her, going on my knees, "I love you, even if I don't say it all the time, it's always going to be you and only you. You are the key to the cage my heart is locked inside now. I love you and I will always belong with you-"
"Just like I will always belong with you," she suddenly whispered, making my smile grow wider. Her eyes shimmered and I instantly stood up.
"And I love these tears of yours too. So don't waste them like this," I said to her, running my thumb across her waterline, making sure to not smudge her liner.
"Ahem ahem!"
We instantly pulled away when Waqas, AKA kabab main haddi, cleared his throat. Suddenly our eyes saw everyone smiling at us and we were pulled back to the reality. Our parents grinned in our direction and I smiled back, scratching the back of my neck.
"Ab khush?" I asked Asmaara, still smiling at the others. "I didn't expect you to say it out loud like this!"
I chuckled, frowning, "why?"
"Don't you find it embarrassing? Now everyone will start teasing us."
"There is nothing embarrassing in this, I am proud that I fell for someone like you and I won't ever feel embarrassed to show you off. World needs to know where my heart belongs after all," I winked and she grinned.
"It belongs with me?" She asked.
"Only you," I looked into her eyes.
"Tu toh Hussain Se bhi aage nikla," Waqas commented, ruining our moment again. Asmaara looked away and focused on the floor again.
I rolled my eyes. "Just said what was in my heart."
"Yeh heart le doobega," he commented, chuckling and I frowned.
"Why are you so anti love now?" Asmaara asked him and he shook his head. "Shehry doesn't gossip after all, does he?"
"I know about Malvika if thats what you mean," she said to him and he groaned. "National news ban gayi hai!"
"International," Asmaara grinned. She looked so adorable tonight.
"Whatever," Waqas groaned.
"She is right there, maybe go talk to her?" She suggested to Waqas and he sighed.
"Seriously Waqas, what if she is waiting for you to come up to her now?"
"How do you know?"
"I don't know.... Maybe because I am a girl too," she shrugged and Waqas nodded. "I'll see."
He walked away and I looked at Asmaara, "did you, by any chance, talk to her?"
But she just shook her head. I sighed.
I hope things work out for Waqas soon too.
~~~MALVIKA's POV~~~

"Careful," I called out as Rishab and Manik ran around the hall. Nihaal followed the two, failing to keep up with the speed.

"Cute," I heard Waqas' voice and instantly straightened my posture.

"Hey," I said. He chuckled. "Finally you remembered me."

Uh what?

"So... How's life?" He asked me and I shrugged. "It's good... I guess."

A chuckle escaped from my lips, seeing Rishab and Manik finding their way through the crowd.

"So they are friends now!" Waqas grinned and I repeated the word 'friends' after him.

"Friends are so important in life, right?" He asked and I nodded. "Yup!"

"You know stats say that friends make the best life partners too. They have the highest rate of successful marriages."

I shook my head, not agreeing to his point.

"Arrey sachi!" He gasped, "Khud aazma kar dekh le!"

He chuckled like it was all cool and funny. I didn't find it funny. This topic was getting too much for me; especially after my chat with Nosh.

"Waqas please don't-"

"Shhh," my voice died on my lips when he wrapped his fingers around my wrist.

"Kuch khone ke liye nahi hai tere paas.. Haan bas budhape ka sahara zaroor mil jayega," he chuckled and I rolled my eyes at him.

"Oh please! You are the one I see walking with a stick thirty years from now!" I made a face at him, "I am going to stay young and sexy."

"Yeah right," he chuckled, making me frown. "I mean it, Waqas."

"Yes of course!" He shook his head teasingly.

Ugh! That laugh.

"Malvika-" he spoke again but I interrupted.

"Waqas please, if it's about that again, then we have talked enough about it already. So, please stop it."

"Fine," he mumbled before slowly walking away.

I closed my eyes tightly to calm myself down. I hate doing this to you Waqas, but I know we can never work this out even if you love me enough to make things better.

In fact, you don't even love me and I'll make you realise this soon.
