29. Gone Wrong

Writing Long Chapters Is Annoying.. It's So Hard To Proof Read Them LOL

-
~~~HUSSAIN's POV~~~
8 AM and we are finally packing up now. It was our last night shoot in New Zealand- In fact, our last shoot here! I don't know how many Shehry has planned for New York though but, I am sure that there isn't much left for me. I guess majority of the work left are Zara's scenes and all the post production work. This is going to be an amazing project!
"I swear Imma gonna kiss the floor any second!" Zara complained, dramatically and I let out a chuckle.
"Sure! Even I am missing my bed. Three nights back to back. Uff," I sighed as Jess approached us.
"Haan bhai kya miss ho raha hai woh hame bhi pata hai!" Adeel smirked, giving Zara a high five and I glared at their annoying faces.
Jess smiled at our alien chat and turned to Zara, "right! It's our last meeting before your flight, I guess!"
Zara stood up and hugged her, "aww why? Are you not joining us tonight?"
"Uh no," Jess shook her head and I noticed how Adeel shifted in his chair, "I have to attend another dinner tonight."
"Come on, it can't be more important than us," I insisted and she laughed. "Uhh family drama again, Hussain."
"So, you are seeing that jerk again tonight?" Adeel asked, lowly, and I raised my eyebrow at him. He scowled at me.
"That Jerk has a name and even if I am meeting him, you have got nothing to do with it!" Jess snapped at him and Zara gave me a look. You know that wow-I-am-enjoying-this Wala look? Yeah.
"Hussain, I'll see you sometime before your flight, yeah? Bye!" She quickly gave me a side hug and walked out, without addressing Adeel.
"Tujhe pasand aa gayi hai yeh?" I casually asked Adeel and he chose to not answer. "Toh jal kyun raha hai saaley?" I added.
"I'll be back!" Zara got up and awkwardly excused herself. I guess, she realised that we needed a bit of space here. We watched her leave and then I turned to Adeel again, "Ab bhonk?"
"Woh dost hai meri bas. Plus she likes that Sean guy," he groaned, "He is rich and classy and main kahan- ek simple sa manager." The last part came out more like a whisper and I sighed.
"Do you really think that she is that shallow?" I raised an eyebrow and annoyed, he got up to leave.
I picked up my car keys and we walked towards my car. Well not exactly my car as I had borrowed it from Gurmeet. I drove silently for thirty minutes before pulling over in the driveway.
"By the way, that classy and rich Sean guy is also a divorcee," I said once I killed the engine but, Adeel showed no sign of interest, "three times dude and this might end up being his fourth."
"The point is?" He asked and I smirked to myself. I know you care, my boy! "Come let's walk," I offered, stepping out of the car and he quietly followed.
"The point is that ki ek baar chance maar ke dekhle, you have nothing to lose anyway," I shrugged.
"Pagal hai? Ami jaan le lengi meri!" He jumped at me, "unhei Indian Christian bhi chalegi par Gori? Not possible!"
I laughed at his reaction, "Dude, tu thora ro dena and she will agree. After all, you are her only son."
He rolled his eyes and sat on the swing. We were now at the back of the house. "Sabki maa Shaista aunty jaisi nahi hoti," he sighed, "she treats Preet like her own daughter- like Maha! But my mom- never."
"So you do agree that-"
"And why are we talking about this, again?" He asked all of a sudden, cutting through my next question, "if you have anything silly going in your head then let me tell you Ki hamare beech kabhi kuch nahi ho sakta."
"Ab aisa kyu?"
"Bas nahi ho sakta," he shook his head, "she deserves someone much better."
"And you are not that someone because?"
"I don't know- I just don't think I deserve her," he shrugged, "she deserves someone a lot better than me- someone who is serious about life. Someone who she can love."
"But she can love you too. All you have to do is try, Adeel. In fact, I am sure that she has feelings for you!" I rested my hand on his shoulder but he pushed it away, chuckling. "Oh please, Hussain! She-"
"Oh My Gawd!" A sudden gasp interrupted us and I turned to look at the voice's owner.
"You two scared me! Kab aaye?" Preet asked, still breathing loudly, trying to calm herself down.
I gave her a kissy face and Adeel got up, "Mujhe bohot neend aa rahi hai- good night!"
He smirked at me and walked over to Preet, "kuch zada hi yaad kar rahe the aap ko aap ke miyaan Ji aaj set Pe!"
"Thanks for letting me know Adeel Ji!" Preet gave him a sarcastic smile and Adeel went inside.
"You two scared me," she said, turning towards me. I got up and walked towards her, only to find a bowl, full of ice cream, in her hand.
"Subha subha ice cream?" I raised an eyebrow and she chuckled, shaking her head. "Silly cravings."
"Yeah but, it's so cold! No way I am letting You eat that! You'll get sick baba," I tried snatching the bowl from her but, her grip on it was too tight.
"No please!" She pouted and I took a deep breath. "No means no! Plus I am too sleepy- lets go and sleep."
"No one sleeps at 9 AM Hussain! Who sleeps at this hour? Please let me have some," she complained when I finally took the bowl from her. I snaked my arm around her waist and walked her inside.
"Hussain!" She whined like a little kid.
"Preet!" I mimicked her.
I left the bowl on the dinning table and led her upstairs.
"No means no. Bimar par gayi toh doctor dawai bhi nahi lene denge," I told her and she huffed. "Gosh! You are so bossy!"
"I know!" I simply smiled and she pushed my hand away. "And Mujhe nahi sona- I am going!"
I wrapped my fingers around her wrist and she stopped immediately, "but, I want to sleep..." I said, stepping towards her.
Once My chest was touching her back, I leaned in and brushed my lips along her neck, moving down to her shoulder. I slowly pulled the fabric of her frock, off her shoulder and gently kissed her bare skin. A smirk appeared on my lips when she gasped and I whispered the last part, "With you."
She instantly turned around and cupped my face between in her cold palms. "Phir pehle ice cream khane do naww!" That pout! She is the cutest thing alive, I swear.
"Acha baba- eat it in the afternoon. Abhi bohot thand hai!" I gave up and she shook her head. "You sound like mom! Woh bhi yeh hi kehti thi."
"See! And moms are always right! Meri nahi toh apni mom ki hi baat maan lo," I chuckled and her head dropped.
"Yeah," she replied lowly and I pulled her into a hug.
"Oh ho- now please don't start crying. You know I hate it!"
Wrapping her arms around me, she whispered, "I miss her."
"Hmm, I know. But, now you have Mama right?" I asked, kissing her head and she nodded. "You know what, I don't want to leave but, then I can't wait to meet Ami."
I chuckled and she punched my arm, "what's so funny?"
"Nahi. Kuch nahi," I told her, pulling away, "and don't worry- we can always invite everyone over for your baby shower."
I smiled when she blushed and hugged me again, hiding her face in my chest.
~~~JESSICA's POV~~~

"Don't! No excuses!" I snapped at her while she sat, silently on her bed. Who, you may ask? Well, you know the only annoying friend that I have.

"At least I am here! It's not my fault that baba wouldn't let me leave!" Asmaara pouted and I shook my head, sitting next to her.

"So, what's the plan?" I finally asked and she let out a short laugh. Short, nervous, confused laugh. I waited for her to answer while she awkwardly nodded.

"Asmaara?"

"There is no plan. I don't know- I just ... I just want to meet him," she shrugged and I shook my head, "I can go now but, I feel this weird pit in my stomach. I can't just go and tell him casually that 'hey, Sorry I was gone for like eleven days but, I now I am back to talk and I love you,' ... right?"

"Hmm," I sighed and lied on her warm comfy bed, almost falling asleep. "Jess! Help!"

"Uh yeah let me think," I yawned and sat up straight, "there is a party tonight since they are leaving. More like a farewell party. How about you go there and meet him? It will be less awkward, I guess."

Asmaara looked down at the carpet while I failed to keep my eyes open. "Sounds good," she said after a while and I threw myself on the bed again.

"Great! Now let me sleep," I said, closing my eyes but, she just wanted to get on my nerves.

"Help me choose the outfit? And make up? Omg! I need to do a lot of work! My nails and hair! And I can't just go with all these bruise marks on my face right?" She said it all in one breath and I sat up straight.

Yeah, this girl is just not going to let me rest - even for a minute.

~~~ASMAARA's POV~~~
"Asmara? Can I say something?" Jess asked, curling my hair. So much anxiety in one question. "Uhm yeah sure!"
"Despite what happened in the past few years, you are still a lucky girl," she whispered, and I frowned at her through the mirror, "you can't find guys like Shehry these days. Someone so patient and loyal."
"Hmm," I sighed. How stupid I have been to let him go every time while he only had eyes for me.
"Don't ever hurt him or leave him," Jess added, catching my attention and I just smiled. "Never."
"I mean, unless you don't love-"
"I do! I love him!" I shrieked and earned a chuckle from her.
"Then tell him that tonight," I blushed at her words and a warm smile made its way on my lips.
Could have I possibly been more blind and stupid? Damn, I always had all the happiness in the world right in front of me and this is how I had been ignoring it. Confess Karne se pehle mujhe tumse maafi mangni hai, Shehry. For all the pain I made you go through for my selfish reasons.
By 5PM I was all dolled up for the night. Jess left right after since she had a dinner to attend. I smiled, thinking about tonight and pulled out the tie and the little jar that I had bought for Shehry. If he is leaving soon, then he better take these with him! Damn, he is leaving already! Abhi toh hamari theek se baat bhi nahi hui. Abhi abhi toh aaya tha Woh!
Ugh! I took ages to sort my feelings out! So dumb of me.
"Jee jee jee zaroor!" Suddenly I heard baba's laugh and frowned. Who is he talking to?
I kept the tie and the jar in my purse and went outside, only to find Wasim uncle leaving. With him, I saw Dr Bilal and cringed my nose. Once they left, I went out and hugged baba from behind.
"Baba!" I sang and he chuckled. "Arey arey- I'll fall!"
"What were they doing here? I didn't even hear them this entire time!" I asked and he turned to face me- with a rather serious face.
"I have something to show you," he said, "it's just a sample but, it's something that I have been thinking about for quite a while now."
Wow. His expressions scared me.
"What it is?" I frowned and he handed me a card. Confused, I opened it.
"Asmaara- I think this is the best for you and soon want to print out hundreds of these," his words brushed past my ears as my eyes widened at what was written on that card.
"Mr and Mrs Wasim Adnan request your pleasurable company at the engagement ceremony of their son, Bilal Wasim, with Asm-" I couldn't bring myself to read the whole thing.
"Baba! What the hell?" I looked up at him and he stared right into my eyes, "mujh se bina pooche... Hai kya yeh sab? Mein ... Bilal... It's.. I-"
"Asmaara, I know you have been through a lot and right now it is not the right time but, after your mom almost got diagnosed with cancer- We don't want to take any chances!" He said, resting a hand on my shoulder.
I pushed his hand away.
"Shadi, baba? Woh bhi mujhse Bina Pooche?" I questioned back and he sighed.
"It just an engagement for now, Asmaara, and you can get married whenever you feel it's the right time. We want you to settle down while we are still here. Allah na kare- par kabhi hamein kuch ho Gaya toh?" he said and I looked away. "Fine. I understand and I will but, I can't with Dr Bilal."
"But, what's the problem? He is a nice guy!" Baba argued and I rolled my eyes. He is a liar- that's the problem.
"I just can't," I shook my head.
"Is it because of that director? Preet's brother-in-law?" Baba asked suddenly and I instantly turned to face him. How did he find out?
"Don't look at me like this- you made it quite obvious the other night," he commented and I pressed my lips together, "but, you know what? He is a mistake- just like Imraan."
I scowled at him, confused while he shook his head. "Shehry is N.O.T a mistake, baba!"
"Tumne chuna hai- mistake kaise nahi hoga?" He jeered at me and I took a deep breath. He is your father Asmaara, I reminded myself and took a deep breath. The back of my eyes ached.
"And you are back to being the cold self again," I snorted and he just glared at me.
"Come on Asmaara, he belongs to that industry and you can't expect a life long commitment from him," baba said and I felt sick, "wahaan log kapro ki tarhaan partners badalte hein. Aaj tum par dil aaya hai toh kal kisi aur pe aaye ga and I can't let you fall in that mess!"
"But, then there are people like Preet and Hussain! Hain na?" I insisted, not understanding what his problem was.
"And then there are people like Preet's mother!" He fired back and I suddenly felt like I had nothing left to say.
"Shehry is not like her!" I stated, crossing my arms in front of me, "he won't ever leave me or hurt me!"
"Oh really? How can you be so sure?" He asked, chuckling, and I scowled at him in disbelief.
"Bas Mera dil kehta hai," I looked straight into his eyes.
"Dil toh Imraan ke baare main bhi bohot kuch kehta tha na?" He finally pressed on my nerve, "anyway, the bottom line is that I don't trust your choice anymore."
I couldn't hold myself back anymore.
"I have a party to attend and I have no time to waste on this crap of your's," I snapped at him, "Shehry aapke Bilal aur Imraan se bohot alag hai!" Going back to my room, I picked up my things and went outside again.
"Aap usse nahi samajh sakte kyuki aapko sirf business samajh aata hai, Mr Khan. Pehle Taya ke partnership sahi lagti thi aur ab Wasim uncle Ki," leaving baba standing in the middle of the hall, I stepped out of the main door.
Imraan Imraan Imraan! Har koi Imraan nahi hota. Kuch log sirf zakhm dena jaante hein par bohot kam log aapke haathon chot khaatien hein, aapke zakhm bharne ki khatir. Shehry unn main se Hai. I trust him and I know that baba is wrong about him.
I looked down at the card that was still in my hand and sighed. I almost ripped it when I decided that I needed to confront that man before I do so. He lied to me every time but, this time, he crossed his limits. Kabhi ajnabee, kabhi zabardasti ka dost toh kabhi family friend. Aur ab Shadi?
And that's why I shoved the card in my purse.
~~~AISHA's POV~~~

"Pagal ho gayi thi tum? What the hell is wrong with you?" Atif yelled at me, making me flinch at his cold voice.

"Ati woh bacha hai!" I tried calming him down, despite knowing that he won't.

"Bacha hai toh Waqas bhi sambhal sakta tha iss bache Ko! What were you thinking in the court today?" He yelled back and I shook my head.

"Waqas is a bachelor Atif, he wouldn't have been able to take care of him the way we can," I stated my point and he ran a hand through his hair. "He could have sent him to a boarding school and appointed a nanny- why did you have to step up for his custody?"

"Boarding? Really Ati?" I frowned him and he dropped on the couch, "uske parents ki death main uska kya kasoor? Why should he suffer?"

"And what about the suffering that we will have to go through because of him?" Atif asked and I silently blinked at him, "at the age of twenty one, he will be free to leave and he will leave us because he'll know that we took him in only because of the court orders!"

"That's not true! He won't ever do that- our love won't let him, Atif!" I defended Rishab, "hum usse itna pyaar denge ki woh kabhi apne sapne main bhi nahi sochega hamein chorne ke baare main."

"Oh please! Don't expect that love from my side!" Atif stood up and walked out of the living room. "Atif! Wait!" I yelled out but, he didn't stop.

I sat down on the couch and threw my head in my hands. Two days ago, Rishab's father was pronounced dead and yesterday we attended his funeral. More like, we held it because no one else came forward to claim the body. Pathetic, isn't it? This morning, the judge was going to hand over Rishab's custody to Waqas so, Rishab could lead the life that he deserves, when I stepped in. The judge realised that being single, Waqas can't do all that for Rishab that I can. So, after Mr Deshmukh's statement, the judge handed Rishab's custody to me. The only thing I didn't know was that Atif would burst at me like this.

~~~SHEHRY's POV~~~
I sighed as I pulled my jacket on. The memory of her, wearing my blazer, crossed my mind and I smiled. Since morning, every little thing has been reminding me of her. But, she is still not here.
I shook away my thoughts and headed outside, only to be welcomed by all the guests. Some old friends of Preet's, some relatives and some of our crew members. I smiled when my eyes fell on Soha's mom and went over to greet her. The day they arrived, Soha took her parents for a tour around the North Island and returned just this morning. Kya timing hai.
"Pancakes with whipped cream!" Preet threw a plate in front of me and I gasped. "No thanks."
"Poocha nahi. Bataya hai," she rolled her eyes at me, "bacho ke liye banaye the and they taste so nice so, take it!"
She knows that I like Pancakes. Especially Maha ke haath ke bane....
"Fine," I smiled at her and took one. "Good boy!" She chuckled before Mehek interrupted.
"Oh ho! Why are you doing all this?" She scolded Preet, "it's your night tonight so enjoy and give me the tray!"
"Yeah, you will be leaving soon- abhi abhi toh aayi thi," Rajveer sighed and Preet hugged him. "I'll miss you guys so much!"
"Then stay for a few more days na," Mehek pouted and I chuckled.
"Aap hi ki toh hai.. Rakh li jiyein!" Came Hussain's voice and I raised an eyebrow, turning to look at him. Sach main rakh liya toh yeh hi rone wala hai.
"Haye sachi?" Mehek beamed but, Preet interrupted.
"Nahi!" She shrieked and quickly bit her tongue. We laughed while she flushed with embarrassment, "Woh main toh bas.. Woh- ami-"
"Let it be," Rajveer playfully slapped her head, "even we know why you want to go so, don't try."
We all chucked while Preet narrowed her eyes at Hussain. If only looks could kill, aaj shaheed ho jata mera bhai!
"Tumhein toh main bad main dekhungi!" Preet whispered to Hussain once Mehek and Rajveer left. She walked away and Hussain came towards me, laughing.
"Agar sach main ruk jati toh?" I asked him, shaking my head.
"Toh ruk jati," he shrugged and walked away with the pancake that was in my hand.
Those pancakes reminded me of her. The first day I met her in Christchurch. I could still smell Asmaara's vanilla and chocolate fragrance around me again like she was right here- with me. I sighed and pulled out the ring that I have been carrying in my pocket since the day I bought it. Aaj bohot yaad aa rahi hai tumhari. We will be leaving soon but, I still don't know where you are. Please come back.
"Woah!" I gasped as a few kids ran past me. I stumbled while trying to stop myself from falling on them and dropped the ring.
"Muskan, Pari- watch where you are going!" Happy called out and I quickly went on my knees to make sure that both the girls were ok. They ran away and I began looking for the ring. Abhi toh yaheen Thi.
I looked around until I spotted it near Soha's feet. I heaved a sigh of relief and went over to pick it up. Yeh har baar iske paas kaise aa jati hai? Shaking my thoughts away, I bent down and picked it up. I should put it away safely before I end up losing it again.
"Oh my God!" Soha shrieked and I jumped back, "I always knew that it's for me!"
I looked up at her. She was staring at me and that's when I realised that I was on my knees. What?!
"Shehry! Get up, please?" She said and I instantly got up, "gosh! This is the best surprise ever! Maine socha bhi nahi tha that you will propose to me in front of so many people!"
What? Propose? She has definitely lost it.
"Shehry! I don't believe this. Beta, I am proud of you," Soha's dad patted my shoulder and I stood there, confused.
"Soha-"
"Ab pehna bhi do," she bought her left hand forward while I glared at her, "oh ho Shehry, yes. it's a yes!"
I looked at Hussain, who stood behind Soha. He frowned at me and I looked at Aunty, who was now beside me. "Beta sharmao mat- Shaista bhabhi bhi yeh news sun kar bohot khush hongi!"
"But Aunty- Soha main-"
I gave up after realising that all the amazed pair of eyes were burning through our skin. I quietly slipped the ring on Soha's ring finger and everyone cheered. Oh crap! I'll have a lot of explaining to do now.
Yeh kaise ho gaya?
~~~JESSICA's POV~~~

"One lemon drop for me, please," I placed my order and as usual my so called mother interrupted. "Oh come on honey. Make that red wine please."

"No thanks. Lemon drop will do for me," I pressed on it and she gave up. The waiter left and she turned to me, "Sean was complaining about how you are so unclassy."

Unclassy? Really? Is that even a word?

"And not punctual," she added and I snorted. "Tell him that I am a woman and not his wrist watch. I was only 7 minutes and 40 seconds late, for god's sake!"

"Exactly, you are a woman but, now you need to start acting like a lady. Oh and see what you just did there? Please honey, it's 'for the love of God' and not what you just used," she complained and I rolled my eyes. Either way, it means the same thing.

The waiter came with our drinks and mother continued, "learn something from Paige at least."

I cringed my nose and drank my lemon drop in one go. Yeah, the supper classy and perfect, Paige Shane Waters.

"Hello ladies!" Came Sean's voice and my head snapped to look at my mother. It was supposed to be our night out so, what is he doing here?

"Oh dear! Look who we have here tonight! Please take a seat," she said politely and I yelled out for the waiter.

"I need a beer!" I ordered and saw how Sean's forehead creased. You want to marry me? Fine but, with that wedding ring- will come suffe-ring. I'll make this wedding a torture for you.

"Oh ignore her sweetie," mother said to Sean as I finished my second bottle and called for the third one.

"Oh no Mrs Waters. It's okay- I know how to tame beauties like her," he boasted and grabbed my hand, "I like challenges. Yeah baby?"

"Then find another challenge, dude!" I gasped as I heard his voice. Adeel's voice.

But, why is he here? I am definitely drunk.

"Excuse me? Who do you think you are?" Sean stood up and I realised that Adeel was actually here. I stood up instantly and turned to look at him.

"Her boyfriend," he stated so casually while staring at me and I looked away. You are not even my friend.

"What? For the love of God, Jessica Waters! Please say it's some kind of a bad joke!" Mother gasped and I turned to look at her.

"Fortunately it's not ma'am," Adeel said to her and turned to me, "and you are coming with me, sugar."

I blinked at him as he grabbed my wrist and led me outside. "Jessica Shane Waters! Stop!" I heard mother yelling but, Adeel didn't let me stop.

"Leave my Hand!" I yelled once we were outside the club, "what the hell, Adeel? What do you think you were doing?"

"What do you think you were doing?" He snapped back, pointing his finger at me, "that man- it's almost like his hobby to get married and then leave his wife!"

"So what? At least he doesn't just go around flirting like you do!" I pushed his finger away and he glared at me. "At least I don't hurt anyone!"

"Yeah right!" I laughed at that- more like cried- I don't know. Just because you are too busy to notice that, it doesn't mean that your flirting never hurts anyone.

"Jess-"

"Don't!" I stepped away, "Stay away from me! Just leave me alone and don't ever show me your face again!"

"I am sorry but, I was just trying to help my friend," he said, staring right into my eyes.

"Oh please! We can't play friends here, Adeel. I am done with you because it hurts. It fucking hurts!"

I was at the verge of tearing up while he stood there silently, rolling his tongue over his lips. What was I saying and why- I couldn't figure that out myself. My head just felt heavy and I felt like puking.

My phone buzzed and I pulled it out of my pocket. 'Asmaara' flashed on it. I took a deep breath before answering the call, "hey!"

"Uh hello, is this... Uh Jessica?" An unfamiliar voice asked and I frowned, checking the caller ID again.

"Um yeah thats me? Why do you have my friend's phone?" I asked and Adeel took a step towards me. I stepped back and he stopped.

"Well, I am afraid but, you will have to come down to the Auckland Hospital."

~~~SHEHRY's POV~~~
"Thank you! Thank you!" I passed through the crazy crowd of people, congratulating me. This is what I have been doing for the past forty five minutes.
"Dude what the hell was that?" Hussain asked me, with his eyes popping out of their sockets.
"Mujhe bhi nahi pata kya Hua but, I need to talk to Soha," I said and went past him.
"Hey! Can I please borrow her for a second?" I asked a few ladies and they all cooed. "Arey ab toh tumhari hi hai," one of them commented and I cringed my nose. She is my friend. It just makes me want to throw up.
I let out a short laugh and pulled Soha out through the back door. She hugged me instantly while I stood there, still absorbing the shock.
"You have no idea how much I love you!" She whispered against my jacket and I had the sudden urge to push her away.
However, I pulled away gently and found her smiling at me. How long has she been feeling this way for me? Damn, it hurts me to break her heart.
"Look Soha, woh ring-"
"It's so pretty and I Lo-"
"It's not for you!" I blurted and she stopped moving. "What?" She choked on air.
Her facial colours flushed. She was probably feeling embarrassed and hurt.
"Yeah, woh toh wahan bas gir gayi Thi and-"
"And I misunderstood," she finished my sentence. Covering her mouth with her hand, She sat down on the swing, "ab main mama baba se kya kahungi?"
"I am sorry for the mess," I sighed.
"Shehry they have informed Shaista Aunty and Asif Uncle as well and they were so happy on the phone," she panicked and I face palmed myself.
Raita phela diya tune Shehry!
"Main mom-dad ko sambhal lunga but, it's your parents that we have to handle right now," I told her and she shook her head, almost tearing up.
"I am sorry Soha- it's all my fault."
"No please don't be sorry but, give me time. Mama baba ko main khud sambhal lungi," she sobbed, looking up at me, "tum please kuch mat kehna unhein."
"Okay," I agreed on that and she began taking the ring off.
"Shehry!" Hussain's shaky voice caught my attention and I stood up, "Adeel called- Asmaara is in the Hostpital!"
What?!
