I love money!

The smell intoxicates me and I would do anything to earn more money. While others gather wealth to flaunt, I gather wealth to be able to fight and I wouldn't back down until I win. I've been through fire and through ice, both elements made me stronger than the average woman. What my parents took, I won't take.

My psychiatrist told me to find my solace, my peace and tranquillity. I took her advice and currently, I set sail to journey through the realm that will bring me peace.

I often thoroughly plan each occasion, when my gold-digging skills would come in handy and someone would willingly pay a huge price for it. You see, I've always loved being the limelight, shining and dazzling like gemstones, mingle with people that matters and those at the corridors of power. I'm willing to work my way to the top using every means I get, I play dirty and nasty, why wouldn't I? I have a frozen and stony heart I'm sure even mountains and rocks will give glory and honour to my heart if compared. I don't just want money, I want power.

But the question as to what I will do with the power is what you are about to see.

I needed someone weak but powerful. Masen Maverick blinded by greed and his disdain towards my enemy fell into a trap I laid and he thought he caught me real bad, well that was part of my plan and it worked because he offered a deal I've wanted all along. Good money and deals control my senses. Since two heads are better than one, as they say, I teamed with Masen to form an alliance.

The kind of alliance that would provide me with all the resources I need to track down my enemy. Moreover, I get to use one stone to kill two birds; get more money and ruin them the same way they ruined my family and get my long-awaited goal; My 'solace' an eye for an eye; A tooth for a tooth, let us all go blind and toothless!

So I thought until I met him

An insanely handsome man with a killer body. He hides his face from the public but the public lives and survives on his business. His business covers almost every area of the economy, furniture, electronics, IT, raw materials distributions, Architectural and Urban designing to name a few.

I can only wonder what would become of me when I move close to him.

My past is linked to this man and his family. A past I need to unveil.

The scars they gave me, I would return the favour back. The pain; I would repay and the tears; I will build them a river for theirs and watch them drown in it.

But I wonder if such a man can be destroyed?

Worries are basic elements of human nature. If I put my mind to it, I will come out victorious.

And this became my conviction.

But Adelaide fails to understand that only fate can tell how the end will be!.

And what her solace truly is, lies in the hands of fate!

For uncertainty is nothing but man's limitations, that which separates him from God.
