An old character from avneil series 1 will come again. Albeit in a very new avatar ;)

Neil did not know what to do. He just knew he had limited time in his hands and then anything could happen to him and avni. Raghu pandit was about to hit avni again and neil did not know for how long she could take it before collapsing and ending the game on both of them. They were torturing avni just to make him feel enraged and helpless and if she collapsed they would just probably shoot him and leave!

As raghu raised his hand, another car crossed them and honked hard. The driver did not dare confront these well armed demons but honked and sped by. It was clear to the goons that the driver would report to the police sooner than later. They had to wrap it up quickly. Raghu didn't hit avni as he was distracted. But to neil this was a worse sign than the situation they were already in. Raghu would erase all proofs of his being there soon and that would mean only one thing...

Raghu took out a lighter. He lit it and threw it in the trickle of petrol leaking from the car. He then smirked at Neil and asked his men to bundle up avni in their van, as she was going to pay for what neil did to them. Neil watched all of his alarmed. He knew raghu didn't shoot him as that would have traces of him. Also that raghu wanted to do some poetic justice by letting Neil burn to death just like he exploded the grenade and burnt and killed his men!

The van started and neil watched it helplessly speed by. His eyes were now fuzzy watery with  tears due to the smoke around him and the car would explode anytime now  blowing  him with it.  Neil struggled to get free but could not see anything which he could use to wrench off his leg! At this moment he was so desperate that he would have easily cut off his limb to get freed. Suddenly Neil felt heat down under him and realized that the bottom of the car was on fire! It was a matter of minutes and possibly seconds now. He closed his eyes and Avni's innocent face flashed before him.

Neil reopened his eyes with new determination. There was no option for him to die. He had to save avni from these animals. He put all his strength to pulling his leg and...

It came out! What had happened was the fire had melted some part and cars body was going down somehow freeing enough space for his leg to loosen up. Neil broke front glass with his elbow and jumped out. He kept on dragging  his  leg to create some distance between himself and the burning car. And then sat down exhausted behind a pillar on the side. He waited for the blast which came in about ten seconds and car burst into flames.

His cell phone was not on him. The goons would've been doing anything with avni by now. But if Neil knew pandit, he knew that he was a businessman and would never destroy goods which he can sell. Yes he would sell avni to the highest bidder. Neil's fist tightened. He knew what to do.

He started running along the highway and soon hitched a ride in a truck. He then got down at a police post and punched in a message to DD. He splashed some water on his face. Then he took a cab and went to a bar about half an hour from there.

Neil went inside. Clearly it was an illegal establishment where sex trade was rampant. Bar girls were performing and some started hitting on Neil for business. And neil let them flirt with him. Then he took a bar girl to a room on pretext of being her customer.

The girl was falling all over Neil as they entered the small closet type room.
