Neil's and Avni's afternoon after that was normal. Avni was a bit surprised and disturbed to see riya, especially after Neil had told her about how amol and dayawanti knew of the address from which to kidnap her. But as soon as she sat on the chair Neil cracked a joke and they got lost in other conversation.

As they were leaving avni told Neil that she had some work and will go out for an hour and be back at their apartment after that. Neil agreed on the condition that she'll not take more than an hour!

Avni went to Chamko Cafe after that to meet Ali and thank him for yesterday. She realised she needed to rekindle their childhood friendship. Also she met nanno and talked about what all had happened since they'd met. She invited all for the grih pravesh (house warming) of the new mansion that she and neil were shifting into along with her in laws.

After that avni left and went to the market. She wanted to buy a gift for her Neil. She had not been able to give him a wedding gift and wanted to give him something he would cherish.

It took avni more time than she'd thought to buy what she thought was a good gift for Neil. She got the watch wrapped up and thought she will surprise Neil by gifting  it to him the next morning by keeping the watch under his pillow. It was very nice weather and avni decided to walk back to Apartment. She had been confined and kept in rooms so many times last few days that she was enjoying every bit of fresh air that she was getting!

As avni walked back she recalled Neil saving her all these times and supporting her even in front of his mom. She realised that Neil was everything to her that her father was not to her mother. He was mature, respectful, caring and Ofcourse was there for her every time she needed him.

Avni thought about how vulnerable Neil was this morning in front of her. How much he cherished her. And she went weak in the knees. She loved him! And she thought she'll announce it to him as soon as she reached home today.

Avni realised she was excited to see Neil! She skipped up the lift and flitted through the corridor. And then she used her keys to open the door of Neil's flat.

And the next moment Avni's gift parcel fell from her hands and she almost let out a little scream. It was a one room studio apartment and so as soon as one opens the door the entire room is visible.

And what avni saw was Neil in the bed with riya. Riya's clothes were off and she was just wearing her undergarments. Neil's shirt was off and so was his belt. They were hugging and riya was planting kisses on Neil's bare chest.
